Constraining the variable generalized Chaplygin gas model in matter creation cosmology

We explore the variable generalized Chaplygin gas（VGCG） model in the theory of matter creation cosmology within the framework of a spatially homogeneous and isotropic flat Friedmann—Lemai tre—Robertson—Walker space-time. Matter creation cosmology is based on reinterpretation of the energy–momentum tensor in Einstein's field equations. This creation corresponds to an irreversible energy flow from the gravitational field to the created matter constituents. The variable Chaplygin gas（VCG） is also studied as a particular solution. We use the Markov chain Monte Carlo method to constrain the free parameters of three models, namely,Lambda-Cold-Dark matter（ΛCDM）, VGCG and VCG models with and without matter creation from the latest observational data from baryon acoustic oscillations, cosmic chronometer, type Ia supernovae（pantheon） including gamma-ray bursts, quasars and the local measurement of H0from R21 data. Two different combinations of dataset provide a fairly tight constraint on the parameters of the ΛCDM, VGCG and VCG models. The present values of various cosmological parameters are obtained, which are very close to the ΛCDM model. Furthermore, we perform stability analysis, Bayesian evidence analysis and information criteria analysis for these models through studying the sound speed, Bayes factor, and Akaike information criteria（AIC） and Bayesian information criteria（BIC） selection criteria. The values of sound speed for VGCG and VCG models shows that both the models are stable. According to AIC, it is observed that VGCG and VCG models with matter creation are supported considerably less by current observations,while BIC shows that these models are not favoured by observational data.

Background:Sleep disturbance is commonly seen in fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS);however,high quality studies involving manual therapies that target FMS-linked poor sleep quality are lacking for the Indian ***:Craniosacral therapy (CST),Bowen therapy and exercises have been found to influence the autonomic nervous system,which plays a crucial role in sleep *** the paucity of evidence concerning these effects in individuals with FMS,our study tests the effectiveness of CST,Bowen therapy and a standard exercise program against static touch (the manual placebo group) on sleep quality in ***,setting,participants and intervention:A placebo-controlled randomized trial was conducted on132 FMS participants with poor sleep at a hospital in *** participants were randomly allocated to one of the four study groups,including CST,Bowen therapy,standard exercise program,and a manual placebo control group that received static ***,Bowen therapy and static touch treatments were administered in once-weekly 45-minute sessions for 12 weeks;the standard exercise group received weekly supervised exercises for 6 weeks with home exercises until 12 *** 12 weeks,all study participants performed the standard exercises at home for another 12 *** outcome measures:Sleep quality,pressure pain threshold (ppT),quality of life and fibromyalgia impact,physical function,fatigue,pain catastrophizing,kinesiophobia,and positive–negative affect were recorded at baseline,and at weeks 12 and 24 of the ***:At the end of 12 weeks,the sleep quality improved significantly in the CST group (p=0.037) and Bowen therapy group (p=0.023),and the ppT improved significantly in the Bowen therapy group(p=0.002) and the standard exercise group (ppared to the static touch *** improvements were maintained at 24 *** between-group differences were observed for other secondary ***:CST and Bowen therapy improv

The present study was aimed to model the hydration characteristics of green chickpea(GC)using mathematical modelling and examine predictive ability of artificial neural network(ANN)*** of GC was performed at different temperatures 25,35,45,55 and 65℃.Different mathematical models were tested for the hydration at different *** ANN modelling,the hydration time and hydration temperature were used as input variables and moisture ratio,moisture content and hydration ratio were taken as output *** model best described the hydration behavior at 25℃;while hydration at high-temperature was better described by page model and Ibarz et *** optimum temperature obtained for hydration was 35℃.Effective mass diffusion coefficient(D_(e))increased from 1.5510^(-11)-1.7910^(-9) m^(2)/s with the increase in the hydration *** low activation energy(39.66 kJ/moL)shows the low-temperature sensitiveness of *** temperature hydration(25℃)required higher time(>200 min)to achieve the equilibrium moisture content(EMC),however high temperature hydration(35–65℃)reduced the EMC time(150 min).ANN was used to predict the hydration behavior and K fold cross validation was performed to check the over fitting of ANN *** show that the LOGSIGMOID transfer function showed better performance when used at the hidden layer input node in conjunction to both pURELIN and *** was found suitable for moisture ratio(MR)and hydration ratio(HR)prediction,as opposed to pURELIN for moisture content(MC)*** model prediction was obtained when the number of neurons in the hidden layer for MC,MR and HR was 12,8 and 15,*** and ANN modelling results are useful to improve/predict the MC,MR and HR during hydration process of GC at different temperature and other similar process.

In the recent decade,the digitalization of various tasks has added great flexibility to human lifestyle and has changed daily routine activities of *** segmentation is a key step in *** plays a key role in almost all areas of image processing,and various approaches have been proposed for image *** this paper,a novel approach is proposed for image segmentation using a nonuniform adaptive ***-based image segmentation along with a directional binary pattern generated a better segmented *** adaptive mask of 8×8 was circulated over the pixels whose bit value was 1 in the generated directional binary *** was performed in three phases:first,an image was divided into sub-images or image chunks;next,the image patches were taken as input,and an adaptive threshold was generated;and finally the image chunks were processed separately by convolving the adaptive mask on the image *** and Laplacian of Gaussian algorithms along with directional extrema patterns provided a double check for boundary *** proposed approach was tested on chunks of varying sizes,and after multiple iterations,it was found that a block size of 8×8 performs better than other chunks or block *** accuracy of the segmentation technique was measured in terms of the count of ill regions,which were extracted after the segmentation process.

Assessment of reproductive health service utilization in urban slums: Evidence from Western Rajasthan

Objective:To assess the utilization of reproductive health services in urban slum of Jodhpur city,***:A community based cross-sectional study was conducted in an urban slums of Jodhpur city amongst 300 married women of reproductive age between March and June ***-structured questionnaire was used to gather demographic data and information about utilization of antenatal care(ANC)services,delivery and post-partum ***:The majority of females were aged less than 25 years(n=195;65.0%),married after 18 years(n=240;80%),living in extended families(n=265;88.3%)and with monthly family income less than 10000 rupees(n=182;60.7%).Statistically significant associations were found between≥4 ANC visits and educational level of secondary and above(OR 2.47,95%CI 1.03–6.28;p=0.04),older age(OR 15.70,95%CI 14.87–16.54 for women aged 26-35 years,OR 16.14,95%CI 12.12–20.01 for women aged≥36 years;pppercent of females had undergone *** age was associated with higher risks of postpartum complications(OR 1.06,95%CI 1.01–1.57 for women aged 26-35 years,OR 3.56,95%CI 1.29–4.69 for women aged≥36 years;ppostpartum complications were associated with backward and general castes(OR 1.69,95%CI 1.34–2.13 for backward classes and OR 5.01,95%CI 4.29–5.31 for general category castes;pppostpartum ***,a high utilization of reproductive health services represents good implementation of reproductive and child health programme at the peripheral level resulting in a stark rise in maternal health indicators in the state of Rajasthan.
