为进一步推动“评核促进学习”,香港地区考试及评核局以历年香港地区中学文凭考试(HKDSE)的评核数据为基础开发了HKDSE诊断反馈系统。目前,该系统结合HKDSE 6个科目选择题的试题库,对学生学习表现数据加以分析并建立统计模型,为教师与学生提供诊断性反馈报告,突出学生在不同能力或范畴的不足与强项。来自14所学校的约2200名学生及教师试用了该系统,通过问卷调查和访谈法,收集意见建议,以改进系统设计。系统改良版在“数据主导评核提升计划”中正式推出,辅之以学科教师培训,以帮助学校提升评核质量。

Color conceptualization aims to propagate"color concepts"from a library of natural color images to the input image by changing the main ***,the existing method may lead to spatial discontinuities in images because of the absence of a spatial consistency *** this paper,to solve this problem,we present a novel method to force neighboring pixels with similar intensities to have similar *** this constraint,the color conceptualization is formalized as an optimization problem with a quadratic cost ***,we further expand two-dimensional(still image)color conceptualization to three-dimensional(video),and use the information of neighboring pixels in both space and time to improve the consistency between neighboring *** performance of our proposed method is demonstrated for a variety of images and video sequences.

Natural language processing(NLP)is a subfield of artificial intelligence that focuses on enabling computers to understand and process human *** the last five years,we have witnessed the rapid development of NLP in tasks such as machine translation,question-answering,and machine reading comprehension based on deep learning and an enormous volume of annotated and unannotated *** this paper,we will review the latest progress in the neural network-based NLP framework(neural NLP)from three perspectives:modeling,learning,and *** the modeling section,we will describe several fundamental neural network-based modeling paradigms,such as word embedding,sentence embedding,and sequence-to-sequence modeling,which are widely used in modern NLP *** the learning section,we will introduce widely used learning methods for NLP models,including supervised,semi-supervised,and unsupervised learning;multitask learning;transfer learning;and active *** view reasoning as a new and exciting direction for neural NLP,but it has yet to be well *** the reasoning section,we will review reasoning mechanisms,including the knowledge,existing non-neural inference methods,and new neural inference *** emphasize the importance of reasoning in this paper because it is important for building interpretable and knowledgedriven neural NLP models to handle complex *** the end of this paper,we will briefly outline our thoughts on the future directions of neural NLP.

AIM: To explore the anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) effects of Boehmeria nivea (B. nivea) root extract (BNE) by using the HepG2 2.2.15 cell model system. METHODS: Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B virus e antigen (HBeAg), and HBV DNA were measured by using ELISA and real-time PCR, respectively. Viral DNA replication and RNA expression were determined by using Southern and Northern blot, respectively. RESULTS: In HepG2 2.2.15 cells, HBeAg (60%, P 99%, P < 0.01) secretion into supernatant were significantly inhibited by BNE at a dose of 100 mg/L, whereas the HBsAg was not inhibited. With different doses of BNE, the reduced HBeAg was correlated with the inhibition of HBV DNA. The anti-HBV effect of BNE was not caused by its cytotoxicity to cells or inhibition of viral DNA replication and RNA expression. CONCLUSION: BNE could effectively reduce the HBV production and its anti-HBV machinery might differ from the nucleoside analogues.

Verifying the integrity of a hard disk is an important concern in computer forensics,as the law enforcement party needs to confirm that the data inside the hard disk have not been modified during the investigation.A typical approach is to compute a single chained hash value of all sectors in a specific ***,this technique loses the integrity of all other sectors even if only one of the sectors becomes a bad sector occasionally or is modified *** this paper we propose a k-dimensional hashing scheme,kD for short,to distribute sectors into a kD space,and to calculate multiple hash values for sectors in k dimensions as integrity *** the integrity of the sectors can be verified depending on any hash value calculated using the sectors,the probability to verify the integrity of unchanged sectors can be high even with bad/modified sectors in the hard *** show how to efficiently implement this kD hashing scheme such that the storage of hash values can be reduced while increasing the chance of an unaffected sector to be verified *** results of a 3D scheme show that both the time for computing the hash values and the storage for the hash values are reasonable.

Background:One of the challenges in personalized medicine is to determine specific drugs and their dosages for patient individuals who are undergoing a common *** technique of cell lines provides a safe approach to capture the drug responses of patient individuals when given specific drugs with varied ***,it is still costly to determine drug responses in cells w.r.t dosages by biological *** methods provide a promising screening to infer possible drug responses in the cells of patient individuals on a large ***,existing computational approaches are insufficient to interpret the underlying reason for drug ***:In this work,we propose an interpretable model for analyzing and predicting drug responses across cell *** proposed model bridges drug features(e.g.f chemical structure fingerprints),cell features(e.g.f gene expression profiles),and drug responses across cells(measured by IC50)by a triple matrix factorization(TMF),such that the underlying reason for drug responses in specific cells is possibly ***'.The comparison with state-of-the-art computational approaches demonstrates the superiority of our *** importantly,a case study of drug responses in lung-related cell lines shows its interpretable ability to find out highly occurring drug substructures,crucial mutated genes,as well as significant pairs between substructures and mutated genes in terms of drug sensitivity and ***:TMF is an effective and interpretable approach for predicting cell lines responses to drugs,and can dig out crucial pairs of chemical substructures and genes,which uncovers the underlying reason for drug responses in specific cells.

Recyclability and self-healing are two most critical factors in developing sustainable polymers to deal with environmental pollution and resource *** this work,a dynamic cross-linked polyimide insulation film with full closed-loop recyclability is successfully prepared,which also possesses good self-healing ability after being mechanical/electrical damaged depending on the Schiff base dynamic covalent *** recycled and self-healed polyimide film still maintain its good tensile strength(r t)>60 MPa with Young’s modulus(E)>4 GPa,high thermal stability with glass transition temperature(T g)>220℃,and outstanding insulation property with breakdown strength(E 0)>358 kV mm^(-1),making it a very promising low energy consumption and high temperature resistant insulation *** strategy of using Schiff base dynamic covalent bonds for reversible repairing the structure of high T g polyimides promotes the wider application of such sustainable and recyclable material in the field of electrical power and micro-electronics.

The internet is a major source for health information. An increasing number of people, including patients with insomnia, search for remedies online; however, little is known about the quality of such information. This study aimed to evaluate the quality and readability of insomnia-related online information. Google was used as the search engine, and the top websites on insomnia that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated for quality and readability. The analyzed websites belonged to nonprofit, commercial, or academic organizations and institutions such as hospitals and universities. Insomnia-related websites typically included definitions （85%）, causes and risk factors （100%）, symptoms （95%）, and treatment options （90%）. Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia （CBT-I） was the most commonly recommended approach for insomnia treatment, and sleep drugs are frequently mentioned. The overall quality of the websites on insomnia is moderate, but all the content exceeded the recommended reading ease levels. Concerns that must be addressed to increase the quality and trustworthiness of online health information include sharing metadata, such as authorship, time of creation and last update, and conflicts of interest; providing evidence for reliability; and increasing the readability for a layman audience.
