Simultaneous optimization of refrigeration system(RS)and its heat exch.nger network(HEn)leads to a large-scale non-convex mixed-integer non-linear programming(MInLP)***,researchers usually adopted simplifications to confine problem scale from being too large at the cost of reducing solution *** study established an optimization framework for the simultaneous optimization of RS and ***,A more comprehensive and compact model was developed to guarantee a relatively complete solution space while reducing model scale as well as its solving *** this model,a tandem arrangement of connecting sub-coolers and expansion valves was considered in the superstructure;and the pressure/temperature levels were optimized as continuous *** this basis,we proposed a"two-step transformation method"to equivalently transform the cross-level structure into a no n-cross-level structu re,and the de-redundant superstructu re was established with ensuring comprehensiveness and ***,the MInLP model was developed and solved by Particle Swarm Optimization ***,our methodology was validated to get better optimal results with less CPU time in two case studies,an ethylene RS in an existing plant and a reported propylene RS.

For n-component distillation(n≥3),consolidation between different column sections is an inevitable manipulation when synthesizing complex distillation *** the consolidation,the idiomatic vapor balance(IVB)rule,in which the larger vapor flowrate in the two columns before consolidation will be chosen as the balanced vapor flowrate at the consolidation point,has been widely ***,the applicability of the IVB rule has not been verified,which is of essential importance to the accuracy of the distillation configuration *** the present study,the applicability of the IVB rule to distillation column consolidation was systematically explored by rigorous method for the first ***,the separation of ideal and non-ideal three-component mixtures with variable compositions was studied,and the optimized configurations before and after consolidation were determined by a rigorous *** results indicated that for the separation of an ideal mixture,the IVB rule was applicable for the whole composition range,while for the separation of a non-ideal mixture,the IVB rule was only applicable for very limited composition ***,two cases of synthesizing distillation configurations for the separation of non-ideal mixtures were studied to verify the remarkable deviations the IVB rule may *** results indicated that the applicability of the shortcut method using the IVB rule to the distillation configuration synthesis depended on the composition of the non-ideal mixture,and a remarkable error might result and the truly optimal configuration might be missed if the IVB rule is applied to a non-ideal mixture.

As a non-toxic,highly reactive biomass material,gelatin is wildly used as the component of biomass-based ***,like most aqueous adhesives,gelatin-based adhesives suffer from long solidifying time or high solidifying temperature due to the low volatility of water,which highly limits the application potential of gelatinbased *** by the fast adhesion of marine organisms through the formation of chemical crosslinks,herein,a kind of low temperature curable eco-friendly gelatin-based adhesive with good adhesive properties and fast curing at low temperature is developed by introducing clicking chemical Diels-Alder(DA)reaction between blocked waterborne polyurethane(MWPU)and *** furfuryl glycidyl ether(FGE)and 4-Maleimidophenol(4-HPM)for the DA reaction are grafted on gelatin,and the end-capping of MWPU,*** the addition of MWPU and FGE,the cross-linking degree of gelatin increased,and the adhesion properties of the adhesive were *** shear strength and T-peel strength of the modified adhesive reached 0.95 MPa and 1.42 n/mm,respectively,after the curing time of 8 min at 40℃,which can meet the application requirements as adhesive for bio-medical use.

Cyclohexylamine is a versatile intermediate in various chemical industries, which can be expediently synthesized via hydrogenation of aniline or nitrobenzene. However, such processes always suffer from side reactions. Many reports have found that specific additives can suppress the formation of side products, but the mech.nism is still not clear. In this work, results suggest that it is the hydroxide ion of alkali metal hydroxides, rather than the cations, which plays a key role in suppressing the side reactions on supported Ru‐based catalysts. With the assistance of LiOH, the selectivity toward cyclohexylamine increased from 85.4% to 100%. Side products, such as dicyclohexylamine, cyclohexanol and n ‐isopropyl cyclohexylamine, could no longer be detected. Theoretical calculations further disclosed that addition of alkali metal hydroxides inhibited the dissociation of enamine and decreased the adsorption energy of cyclohexylamine, which might be the reasons for a better selectivity. However, the addition of alkali metal hydroxides reduced the activity of nitrobenzene hydrogenation by unfolding the condensation reaction route. To recover or even further enhance the catalytic performance, a second metal component was introduced and the resultant Runi/AC exhibited a significant improvement in activity compared with Ru/AC.

Establishment and evaluation of acute diquat poisoning model in Wistar rats
