Exploring efficient and stable photoanode materials is a necessary link to realize the practical application of solar-driven photoelectrochemical(PEC)water ***,we prepared rutile TiO_(2) nanorods,with a width of 50 nm,which was growth in situ on carbon cloth(TiO_(2)@CC)by hydrothermal *** then,Ag nanoparticles(NPs)and biomass N,S-C NPs were chosen for the additional modification of the fabricated TiO_(2) nanorods to produce broccoli-like Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC *** to the result of ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-vis)and PEC water splitting performance tests,Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC broadens the absorption region of TiO_(2)@CC from the ultraviolet region to the visible regio *** AM 1.5 G solar light irradiation,the photocurrent density of Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC is 89.8μA·cm^(-2),which is 11.8 times higher than TiO_(2)@*** visible light irradiation,the photocurrent density of Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC reaches to 12.6μA·cm^(-2),which is 21.0 times higher than TiO_(2)@***,Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC shows a photocurrent responses in full pH *** can be found that Ag NPs and N,S-C NPs play key roles in broaden the absorption range of TiO_(2) nanorods to the visible light region and,promote the occurrence of PEC water oxidation reaction due to the surface plasmon resonance effect of Ag NPs and the synergistic effect of N,S-C *** mechanism demonstrated that Ag-N,S-C/TiO_(2)@CC can separate the photogenerated electron-hole pairs effectively and transfer the photogenerated electrons to the photocathode(Pt plate)in *** research provides a new strategy for exploration surface plasma metal coupled biomass carbon materials in the field of PEC water splitting.

Quality and yield are the primary concerns in kiwifruit breeding,but research on the genetic mechanisms of fruit size,shape,and ascorbic acid(ASA)content is currently very limited,which restricts the development of kiwifruit molecular *** this study,we obtained a total of 8.88 million highly reliable single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers from 140 individuals from the natural hybrid offspring of Actinidia eriantha cv.‘White’using whole genome resequencing technology.A genome-wide association study was conducted on eight key agronomic traits,including single fruit weight,fruit shape,ASA content,and the number of inflorescences per branch.A total of 59 genetic loci containing potential functional genes were located,and candidate genes related to single fruit weight,fruit length,ASA content,number of inflorescences per branch and other traits were identified within the candidate interval,such as AeWUSCHEL,AeCDK1(cell cycle dependent kinase),AeAO1(ascorbic oxidase)and AeCO1(CONSTANS-like 4).After constructing an RNAi vector for AeAO1 and injecting it into the fruit of cv.‘Midao 31’to interfere with the expression of the AeAO1 gene,the results showed that the activity of ascorbic oxidase in the fruit of‘Midao 31’significantly decreased,while the content of ASA significantly *** study provides valuable insights into the genetic basis of variation in *** fruit traits,which may benefit molecular marker-assisted breeding efforts.

Semidwarf breeding has boosted crop production and is a well-known outcome from the first Green Revolution. The Green Revolution gene Semidwarf 1(SD1), which modulates gibberellic acid(GA) biosynthesis, plays a principal role in determining rice plant height. Mutations in SD1 reduce rice plant height and promote lodging resistance and fertilizer tolerance to increase grain production. The plant height mediated by SD1 also favors grain yield under certain conditions. However, it is not yet known whether the function of SD1 in upland rice promotes adaptation and grain production. In this study, the plant height and grain yield of irrigated and upland rice were comparatively analyzed under paddy and dryland conditions. In response to dryland environments, rice requires a reduction in plant height to cope with water deficits. Upland rice accessions had greater plant heights than their irrigated counterparts under both paddy and dryland conditions, and appropriately reducing plant height could improve adaptability to dryland environments and maintain high grain yield formation. Moreover, upland rice cultivars with thicker stem diameters had stronger lodging resistance, which addresses the lodging problem. Knockout of SD1 in the upland rice cultivar IRAT104 reduced the plant height and grain yield, demonstrating that the adjustment of plant height mediated by SD1 could increase grain production in dryland fields. In addition, an SD1 genetic diversity analysis verified that haplotype variation causes phenotypic variation in plant height. During the breeding history of rice, SD1 allelic mutations were selected from landraces to improve the grain yield of irrigated rice cultivars, and this selection was accompanied by a reduction in plant height. Thus, five known mutant alleles were analyzed to verify that functional SD1 is required for upland rice production. International Travel and AIDS : A Survey of Knowledge , Attitudes , Beliefs and Behaviours about AIDS among Tourists Travelling to Thailand

Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia may lead to disability and even death[1,2]. In this work, a simple and environmental friendly process was developed for synthesis different proportion of Au/Ni(OH) nanocomposites, which can be used to construct an electrochemical sensor for determination of glucose. The synthesized nanocomposites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). It was found that the nanocomposites formed by ultrathin nickel hydroxide nanosheets and gold nanoparticles(AuNPs), and the AuNPs dispersed evenly on the Ni(OH) nanosheets. Due to its unique structure of the Au/Ni(OH) nanocomposites, the modified electrode displays excellent electrochemical performance, and also exhibits high activity towards glucose oxidization in alkaline medium. Fig.1A shows the TEM images of the Au/Ni(OH) nanocomposites, and Fig.1B shows the higher magnification TEM of the nanocomposites. Amperometric response of the Au/Ni(OH)/GCE against glucose is displayed in Fig.1C and 1D.

From March 1994 to April 1995, 290 tourists travelling to Thailand were surveyed to measure their knowledge, attitudes , beliefs and practices (KABP) about AIDS . The results indicated that travellers surveyed had a good knowledge about practical self—protection of AIDS. although they were less aware of AIDS knowledge concerning general clinical properties . Some travellers were found to be misinformed about routes of transimission, high—risk factors and precautionary measures about AIDS. In all, 18.6% did not know that contact with blood can transmit HIV, 10. 5% did not know that intravenous drug users are at risk for high rates of HIV infection, 73.3% believed that the person infected with HIV must have symptoms, and 30. 2% did not believe that condoms are effective in preventing HIV transimission . With respect to beliefs and attitudes, 18.3% preferred the idea of maltiple sexual partners, 62.5% of travellers who had a sexual experience thought that condoms reduce sexual pleasure. 15 travellers (5.2%) reported having multiple sexual partners. Of the travellers , 87.2% believed that they could change their behaviours in order to reduce the chances of getting AIDS , and 38.4% reported having changed their behaviours after getting information about AIDS . There was marked variability in knowledge about AIDS among travellers. The correct rates of knowledge about AIDS increased in response to the age and education level (P<0.05). The travellers who preferred and reported having multiple sexual partners respectively had less knowledge about AIDS than the other travellers (P<0.01) . A positive association was found between belief and behaviour about multiple sexual partners (P<0.01) . The travellers who believed that condoms are effectively in preventing HIV transmission were more likely than the other travellers to report often using condoms (P<0.01). 随着经济的发展,当今社会对能源的需求不断增加.然而,传统的化石燃料,如煤和石油,虽然能够提供大量的能源,但其资源有限,不可再生,并且燃烧产物对环境有害,不符合绿色低碳的发展理念,亟需开发新型、高效的清洁能源.氨(NH3)因具有氢含量高、燃烧产物(完全燃烧时产物为N_(2)和H2O)无害、可规模化生产、压缩性好、易于储存和运输等优点,被认为是直接氨燃料电池(DAFCs)的理想候选燃料.同时,氨也是常见的含氮污染物,广泛存在于人类生产和工农业活动中.因此,氨氧化反应(AOR)在清洁能源生产和含氨废水处理领域都起着重要作用.本文首先系统总结了AOR在不同领域的研究进展,强调了其在清洁能源领域(如DAFCs)的巨大应用潜力,突出了AOR与水电解反应中的阴极氢析出过程耦合制取氢气在能源转化领域的研究价值,以及AOR在含氨废水处理领域的重要性.然后,讨论了AOR机制:AOR反应过程中存在竞争,并可生成多种含氮产物(如N_(2),NO,NO_(2),NO_(2)^(–)和NO_(3)^(–)等),进而影响产物的选择性和反应效率等.再后,讨论了原位表征技术(如采用原位拉曼光谱对催化剂重构行为跟踪和采用原位傅里叶变换红外光谱对反应中间体实时监测)和构建理论计算模型的重要性,这些方法为揭示AOR机制和反应路径提供有力的支持.同时,对AOR催化剂的设计策略和反应条件的筛选提出建议,如反应环境pH值会影响活性位点的质子化状态,从而改变吸附行为,影响催化性能.还探讨了AOR过程耦合电解水氢析反应对低能耗、高效率制取氢气的意义,并概述了在含氨废水处理中提高氮气产物选择性的必要性.最后,讨论了AOR研究中面临的挑战和可采用的策略,包括进一步增加活性位点的暴露、增强催化活性、精准识别活性位点、最大程度地利用催化中心、提高催化剂抗中毒能力、提高目标产物的选择性以及提高催化剂使用寿命等.综上,本文系统地总结了AOR的研究进展、反应机制以及未来的发展策略等,为进一步推动AOR在洁净能源和环境保护领域的应用,为进一步开发更绿色环保的能源体系以及高效的污水处理方法提供新思路.
