Interfacial Electronic Modulation of Dual-Monodispersed Pt–ni_(3)S_(2) as Efficacious Bi-Functional Electrocatalysts for Concurrent H_(2) Evolution and Methanol Selective Oxidation

Constructing the efficacious and applicable bifunctional electrocatalysts and establishing out the mechanisms of organic electro-oxidation by replacing anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER) are critical to the development of electrochemicallydriven technologies for efficient hydrogen production and avoid CO_(2) emission. Herein, the hetero-nanocrystals between monodispersed Pt(~ 2 nm) and ni_(3)S_(2)(~ 9.6 nm) are constructed as active electrocatalysts through interfacial electronic modulation, which exhibit superior bi-functional activities for methanol selective oxidation and H_(2) generation. The experimental and theoretical studies reveal that the asymmetrical charge distribution at Pt–ni_(3)S_(2) could be modulated by the electronic interaction at the interface of dual-monodispersed heterojunctions, which thus promote the adsorption/desorption of the chemical intermediates at the interface. As a result, the selective conversion from CH_(3)OH to formate is accomplished at very low potentials(1.45 V) to attain 100 m A cm^(-2) with high electronic utilization rate(~ 98%) and without CO_(2) emission. Meanwhile, the Pt–ni_(3)S_(2) can simultaneously exhibit a broad potential window with outstanding stability and large current densities for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) at the cathode. Further, the excellent bi-functional performance is also indicated in the coupled methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)//HER reactor by only requiring a cell voltage of 1.60 V to achieve a current density of 50 m A cm^(-2) with good reusability.

Isotopic characteristics and source analysis of atmospheric ammonia during agricultural periods in the Xichuan area of the Danjiangkou Reservoir

nitrogen deposition is an important means of exogenous nitrogen input in reservoir *** activities around the reservoir lead to a sharp increase in the concentration of ammonia in the atmosphere,which poses a threat to the reservoir water *** the contribution of agricultural ammonia release to atmospheric nH_(x)(gaseous nH_(3)and particulate nH_(4)^(+)),in the reservoir area can provide a theoretical foundation for local reactive nitrogen *** collected atmospheric nH_(3)and nH_(4)^(+)samples during the agricultural periods and analyzed the isotopic characteristics of atmospheric nH_(x)and the contribution rates of different ammonia sources in the Xichuan area of the Danjiangkou *** results showed that the initialδ~(15)n values of nH_(3)(-30.0‰to–7.2‰)and particulate nH_(4)^(+)(–33‰to+4.9‰for finer and coarser particles,respectively)are different,and their contribution ratios from dissimilar ammonia sources are also different,among which nH_(4)^(+)is more susceptible to meteorological ***,since the atmospheric nH_(x)in the Xichuan area is mainly gaseous nH_(3),the final sources of atmospheric ammonia nitrogen source depend on gaseous nH_(3).Agricultural sources(59%-74%)were the main nH_(3)sources in this *** them,the fertilizer use emission was dominant;it had the highest contribution rate in summer during the agricultural period and a more prominent impact in areas with less human *** regulation of the application of high-ammonia releasing fertilizer,especially during the agricultural period in summer,is an effective way to reduce the threat of atmospheric ammonia to water health.

A composite material comprising a carbon layer and spherical carbon/carbon cloth(C-SC/CC)was fabricated using a hydrothermal-pyrolysis method,employing carbon cloth as the substrate and glucose as the carbon *** C-SC/CC electrode was evaluated as an electrocatalytic electrode for hydrogen production by electrolysis of Bunsen reaction *** electrode prepared with 4 g of glucose and annealed at 800°C showed excellent electrocatalytic *** requires only a potential of 185 mV(***)to achieve a current density of 10 mA/***,the electrode demonstrated good stability with a 6%loss in current density after 1000 cycles of scanning from 0.2 V to 1.2 *** results indicate the potential of the SC/CC electrode as an efficient and durable electrocatalyst for the electrolysis of H2SO4 and HI.

Electronic modulation of sprout-shaped niCoP nanoarrays by n and Ce doping for efficient overall water splitting

Bifunctional catalysts for hydrogen/oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER)are urgently needed given the bright future of water splitting hydrogen production ***,the self-supporting n and Ce dual-doped niCoP nanoarrays(denoted n,Ce-niCoP/nF)grown on ni foam are successfully *** the n,Ce-niCoP/nF simultaneously acts as the HER and OER electrodes,the voltages of 1.54 and 2.14 V are obtained for driving 10 and 500 mA·cm^(-2)with a robust durability,and demonstrate its significant potential for practical water *** to both experiments and calculations,the electronic structure of niCoP may be significantly altered by strategically incorporating n and Ce into the lattice,which in turn optimizes the Gibbs free energy of HER/OER intermediates and speeds up the water splitting ***,the sprout-shaped morphology significantly increases the exposure of active sites and facilitates charge/mass transfer,thereby augmenting catalyst *** study offers a potentially effective approach involving the regulation of anion and cation double doping,as well as architectural engineering,for the purpose of designing and optimizing innovative electrocatalysts.

Polyphyllin Ⅰ enhances tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand-induced inhibition of human osteosarcoma cell growth via downregulating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway

Background:Chemotherapy remains the standard-of-care for many patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer(nSCLC),but acquired resistance presents *** aim of this open-label,multicenter phase 2 clinical trial was to determine the efficacy and safety of utidelone,a novel genetically engineered epothilone analog and microtubule-stabilizing agent,as a third-or later-line treatment for locally advanced ormetastatic ***:Patients who had failed standard second-line treatment(including platinum-containing chemotherapy or targeted therapy)received utidelone(40 mg/m?via intravenous injection daily,day 1-5)every 21 *** primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR).Secondary endpoints were the duration of response(DoR),progression-free survival(PFS),overall survival(OS),and ***:From March 12,2019 to January 18,2021,26 pretreated patients with locally advanced or metastatic nSCLC(100%of patients had received prior platinum and 65.4%patients had received prior taxane treatment)were enrolled(80.8%of patients had adenocarcinoma).At baseline,nine(34.6%)patients had received secondline treatment,10(38.5%)patients had received third-line treatment,and seven(26.9%)patients had received fourth-or later-line *** the data cut-off date of August 10,2021,the median follow-up was 7.49 months(range,1.4-26.7 months).The ORR was 15.4%(95%confidence interval[CI],4.4%-34.9%)in the intention-totreat(ITT)cohort(n=26)and 19.0%(95%CI,5.4%-41.9%)in the per-protocol(PP)cohort(n=21).The disease control rate was 69.2%(95%CI,48.2%-85.7%)and 81.0%(95%CI,58.1%-94.6%)in the ITT and PP cohorts,*** median DoR was 4.1 months(95%CI,3.1-5.1 months)in the ITT *** median PFS was 4.37 months(95%CI,2.50-5.29 months)in the ITT cohort and 4.37 months(95%CI,2.50-9.76 months)in the PP *** median OS was not reached,and the 12-month OS rate was 69%(95%CI,45.1%-84.1%).Grade 3/4 treatment-emergent adverse events occur
