Competition of Composition Fluctuation Modes in Weakly Segregated Salt-doped Symmetric Diblock Copolymers

Salt-doped block copolymers have widespread applications in batteries,fuel cells,semiconductors,and various industries,where their properties crucially depend on phase separation ***,investigations into salt-doped diblock copolymers have predominantly focused on microphase separation,overlooking the segregation between ionic and polymeric *** study employs weak segregation theory to explore the interplay between phase separation dominated by the polymer-modulated mode and the salt-out-modulated mode,corresponding to microscopic and macroscopic phase separations,*** comparing diblock copolymers doped with salts to those doped with neutral solvents,we elucidate the significant role of charged species in modulating phase *** phase separation mode exhibits a transition between the polymer-modulated and salt-out-modulated modes at different *** systems doped with neutral solvents,this transition is stepwise,while in salt-ion-doped systems,it is *** a sufficiently large Flory-Huggins parameter between ions and polymers,the salt-out-modulated mode becomes dominant,promoting macrophase *** to the solvation effect of salt ions,salt-doped systems are more inclined to undergo microphase ***,we explore factors influencing the critical wavenumber of phase separation,including doping level and the Flory-Huggins parameters between two blocks and between ions and polymeric *** findings reveal that in a neutral solvent environment,these factors alter only the boundary between micro-and macro-phase separations,leaving the critical wavenumber unchanged in microphase separation ***,in a salt-doped environment,the critical wavenumber of microphase separation varies with these *** provides valuable insights into the pivotal role of electrostatics in the phase separation of salt-doped block copolymers.

High-precision and efficient structural response prediction is essential for intelligent disaster prevention and mitigation in building structures,including post-earthquake damage assessment,structural health monitoring,and seismic resilience assessment of *** improve the accuracy and efficiency of structural response prediction,this study proposes a novel physics-informed deep-learning-based realtime structural response prediction method that can predict a large number of nodes in a structure through a data-driven training method and an autoregressive training *** proposed method includes a Phy-Seisformer model that incorporates the physical information of the structure into the model,thereby enabling higher-precision *** were conducted on a four-story masonry structure,an eleven-story reinforced concrete irregular structure,and a twenty-one-story reinforced concrete frame structure to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed *** addition,the effectiveness of the structure in the Phy-Seisformer model was verified using an ablation ***,by conducting a comparative experiment,the impact of the range of seismic wave amplitudes on the prediction accuracy was *** experimental results show that the method proposed in this paper can achieve very high accuracy and at least 5000 times faster calculation speed than finite element calculations for different types of building structures.

Combined proteomic and metabolomic studies on the liver of Amur sturgeon Acipenser schrenckii under titanium dioxide nanoparticle exposure

Nanomaterials,particularly titanium dioxide nanoparticles(TiO_(2)-NPs),are extensively utilized across various ***,their environmental release has raised concerns regarding their potential ecological and environmental *** reproductive toxicity of TiO_(2)-NPs in fish species has attracted considerable attention,yet conflicting research outcomes have been *** investigated the effects of TiO_(2)-NPs exposure on the liver of juvenile Amur sturgeon Acipenser schrenckii using label-free proteomic and untargeted metabolomic *** experiment included a control group and three groups exposed to different concentrations of TiO_(2)-NPs(low,TL;medium,TM;high,TH).Compared to the control group,9,19,and 25 proteins and 35,73,and 158 metabolites were differentially expressed in the TH,TM,and TL TiO_(2)-NP-exposed groups,*** differentially expressed genes(Degs)were enriched in the Kyoto encyclopedia for genes and genomes(Kegg)pathways related to glycolysis and ***,among the 126 correlated proteins,the most enriched pathways were associated with endocytosis and protein processing in the endoplasmic ***,syringic acid was significantly downregulated across all three TiO_(2)-NP-exposed *** obtain a comprehensive overview of the TiO_(2)-NP-induced expression changes,a co-regulated network of proteins and metabolites associated with TiO_(2)-NPs exposure was *** to TiO_(2)-NPs led to enrichment and alteration of pathways related to immune responses,including endocytosis,protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum,and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor(PPAR)*** conclusion,our findings indicate that exposure to TiO_(2)-NPs might disrupt glucose metabolism and induce immune responses,thus contributing to our understanding of the environmental impacts of nanomaterials and highlighting the need for further research and development of potential mitigation strategies.

Corrosion of Duplex Stainless Steel Manufactured by Laser Powder Bed Fusion: A Critical Review

Laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) is a commonly used additive manufacturing (AM) method for efficiently producing intricate geometric components. This investigation examines factors such as pores, cellular structure, grain size, and inclusions from the manufacturing process that contribute to the corrosion resistance of LPBF DSS. Furthermore, the as-built LPBF duplex stainless steel (DSS) is primarily ferrite due to the rapid cooling process. Therefore, the transformation of ferrite to austenite after various heat treatments in LPBF DSS and its corresponding corrosion resistance are presented. Additionally, a new mixed powder method is proposed to increase the austenite content in the as-built LPBF DSS. This review also focuses on the passivation capability and pitting corrosion performance in LPBF and conventional DSS. This article summarizes the variations in microstructure between as-built and heat-treated LPBF DSS, with their impacts on corrosion resistance, offering insights for manufacturing highly corrosion-resistant LPBF DSS.

Analysis of China’s PM_(2.5)and ozone coordinated control strategy based on the observation data from 2015 to 2020

The coordinated control of PM_(2.5)and ozone has become the strategic goal of national air pollution *** the gradual decline in PM_(2.5)concentration and the aggravation of ozone pollution,a better understanding of the coordinated control of PM_(2.5)and ozone is urgently ***,we collected and sorted air pollutant data for 337 cities from 2015 to 2020 to explore the characteristics of PM_(2.5)and ozone pollution based on China’s five major air pollution *** results show that it is necessary to continue to strengthen the emission reduction in PM_(2.5)and ozone precursors,and control NO_(x) and VOCs while promoting a dramatic emission reduction in PM_(2.5).The primary method of curbing ozone pollution is to strengthen the emission control of VOCs,with a long-term strategy of achieving substantial emission reductions in NO_(x),because VOCs and NO_(x) are also precursors to PM_(2.5);hence,their reductions also contribute to the reduction in PM_(2.5).Therefore,the implementation of a multipollutant emission reduction control strategy aimed at the prevention and control of PM_(2.5)and ozone pollution is the only means to realize the coordinated control of PM_(2.5)and ozone.

Prototype experiments were carried out on the explosion-proof performance of the RC blast *** mass of TNT detonated in the experiments is 5 kg and 20 kg *** shock wave overpressure was tested in different *** above experiments were numerically simulated,and the simulated shock wave overpressure waveforms were compared with that tested and given by CONWeP *** results show that the numerically simulated waveform is slightly different from the test waveform,but similar to CONWeP *** dimensional analysis and numerical simulation under different working conditions,the equation for the attenuation rate of the diffraction overpressure behind the blast wall was *** to the corresponding standards,the degree of casualties and the damage degree of the brick concrete building at a certain distance behind the wall can be determined when parameters are *** above results can provide a reference for the design and construction of the reinforced concrete blast wall.

One-pot Synthesis of Hierarchical Flower-like WS_(2) Microspheres as Anode Materials for Lithium-ion Batteries

3D hierarchical flowerlike WS_(2) microspheres were synthesized through a facile one-pot hydrothermal *** as-synthesized samples were characterized by powder X-ray powder diffraction (XRD),energy-dispersive spectroscopy (eDS),scanning electron microscopy (SeM) and *** images of the samples reveal that the hierarchical flowerlike WS_(2) microspheres with diameters of about 3-5μm are composed of a number of curled *** tests such as charge/discharge,cyclic voltammetry,cycle life and rate performance were carried out on the WS_(2) *** an anode material for lithium-ion batteries,hierarchical flowerlike WS_(2) microspheres show excellent electrochemical *** a current density of100 mA·g^(-1),a high specific capacity of 647.8 mA·h·g^(-1) was achieved after 120 discharge/charge *** excellent electrochemical performance of WS_(2) as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries can be attributed to its special 3D hierarchical structure.

Research on simulation of gun muzzle flow field empowered by artificial intelligence

Artificial intelligence technology is introduced into the simulation of muzzle flow field to improve its simulation efficiency in this paper.A data-physical fusion driven framework is ***,the known flow field data is used to initialize the model parameters,so that the parameters to be trained are close to the optimal *** physical prior knowledge is introduced into the training process so that the prediction results not only meet the known flow field information but also meet the physical conservation *** two examples,it is proved that the model under the fusion driven framework can solve the strongly nonlinear flow field problems,and has stronger generalization and *** proposed model is used to solve a muzzle flow field,and the safety clearance behind the barrel side is *** is pointed out that the shape of the safety clearance under different launch speeds is roughly the same,and the pressure disturbance in the area within 9.2 m behind the muzzle section exceeds the safety threshold,which is a dangerous *** with the CFD results shows that the calculation efficiency of the proposed model is greatly improved under the condition of the same calculation *** proposed model can quickly and accurately simulate the muzzle flow field under various launch conditions.
