In the pursuit of ultrathin polymer electrolyte(m) for lithium metal batteries, achieving a balance between mechanical strength and interfacial stability is crucial for the longevity of the ***, 11 μm-thick gel polymer electrolyte is designed via an integrated electrode/electrolyte structure supported by lithium metal anode. Benefiting from an exemplary superiority of excellent mechanical property, high ionic conductivity, and robust interfacial adhesion, the in-situ formed polymer electrolyte reinforced by titanosiloxane networks(ISPTS) embodies multifunctional roles of physical barrier, ionic carrier, and artificial protective layer at the interface. The potent interfacial interactions foster a seamless fusion of the electrode/electrolyte interfaces and enable continuous ion transport. moreover, the built-in ISPTS electrolyte participates in the formation of gradient solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI) layer, which enhances the SEI's structural integrity against the strain induced by volume fluctuations of lithium ***, the resultant 11 μm-thick ISPTS electrolyte enables lithium symmetric cells with cycling stability over 600 h and LiFePO_(4) cells with remarkable capacity retention of 96.6% after 800 *** study provides a new avenue for designing ultrathin polymer electrolytes towards stable, safe,and high-energy–density lithium metal batteries.

Storage time affects the level and diagnostic efficacy of plasma biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases

Several promising plasma biomarker proteins,such as amyloid-β(Aβ),tau,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein,are widely used for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative ***,little is known about the long-term stability of these biomarker proteins in plasma samples stored at-80°*** aimed to explore how storage time would affect the diagnostic accuracy of these biomarkers using a large *** samples from 229 cognitively unimpaired individuals,encompassing healthy controls and those experiencing subjective cognitive decline,as well as 99 patients with cognitive impairment,comprising those with mild cognitive impairment and dementia,were acquired from the Sino Longitudinal Study on Cognitive Decline *** samples were stored at-80°C for up to 6 years before being used in this *** results showed that plasma levels of Aβ42,Aβ40,neurofilament light chain,and glial fibrillary acidic protein were not significantly correlated with sample storage ***,the level of total tau showed a negative correlation with sample storage ***,in individuals without cognitive impairment,plasma levels of total protein and tau phosphorylated protein threonine 181(p-tau181)also showed a negative correlation with sample storage *** was not observed in individuals with cognitive ***,we speculate that the diagnostic accuracy of plasma p-tau181 and the p-tau181 to total tau ratio may be influenced by sample storage ***,caution is advised when using these plasma biomarkers for the identification of neurodegenerative diseases,such as Alzheimer's ***,in cohort studies,it is important to consider the impact of storage time on the overall results.

Data-based detection and quantification of causation in complex,nonlinear dynamical systems is of paramount importance to science,engineering,and *** by the widely used methodology in recent years,the cross-map-based techniques,we develop a general framework to advance towards a comprehensive understanding of dynamical causal mechanisms,which is consistent with the natural interpretation of *** particular,instead of measuring the smoothness of the cross-map as conventionally implemented,we define causation through measuring the scaling law for the continuity of the investigated dynamical system *** uncovered scaling law enables accurate,reliable,and eficient detection of causation and assessment of its strength in general complex dynamical systems,outperforming those existing representative *** continuity scaling-based framework is rigorously established and demonstrated using datasets from model complex systems and the real world.

The m1/m2 phenotypic shift of microglia after spinal cord injury plays an important role in the regulation of neuroinflammation during the secondary injury phase of spinal cord *** of shifting microglia polarization from m1(neurotoxic and proinflammatory type)to m2(neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory type)after spinal cord injury appears to be *** possesses an anti-inflammatory biological ***,its roles and the underlying molecular mechanisms in spinal cord injury remain *** this study,we found that tryptanthrin inhibited microglia-derived inflammation by promoting polarization to the m2 phenotype in *** promoted m2 polarization through inactivating the cGAS/STING/NF-κB ***,we found that targeting the cGAS/STING/NF-κB pathway with tryptanthrin shifted microglia from the m1 to m2 phenotype after spinal cord injury,inhibited neuronal loss,and promoted tissue repair and functional recovery in a mouse model of spinal cord ***,using a conditional co-culture system,we found that microglia treated with tryptanthrin suppressed endoplasmic reticulum stress-related neuronal *** together,these results suggest that by targeting the cGAS/STING/NF-κB axis,tryptanthrin attenuates microglia-derived neuroinflammation and promotes functional recovery after spinal cord injury through shifting microglia polarization to the m2 phenotype.

The New Wuqing 70 m Radio Telescope and measurements of main Electronic Properties in the X-band

The new Wuqing 70 m radio telescope is first used for the downlink data reception in the first mars exploration mission of China,and will be used for the other deep space communications and radio astronomical observations in the *** main specifications and measurement results of some properties in the X-band are introduced in this paper,such as pointing calibration,gain and efficiency,system noise temperature,system equivalent flux density,and variations with *** 23 parameters pointing calibration model considering the atmospheric refraction correction in real time is presented in the telescope,and the pointing accuracy reaches 570 in azimuth direction and 607 in elevation direction for different weather *** than 62%efficiencies are achieved at full elevation range,and more than 70%in the *** system equivalent flux density of the X-band in the mid-elevation reaches 26 Jy.

It was first found that Ind(2)Y(mu -Et)(2)AlEt2 and Ind(2)LnN(i-Pr)(2) (Ln = Y, Yb) exhibit extremely high catalytic activity in the polymerization of methyl methacrylate. The reactions can be carried out over a quite broad range of polymerization temperatures from -30 to 50 degreesC. PmmA with high molecular weight (7.8 x 10(-5)) and high isotacticity (94%) can be obtained by using Ind(2)Y(mu -Et)(2)AlEt2, and narrow molecular weight distribution (m-w/m-n < 1.5) can be obtained by using Ind(2)LnN(i-Pr)(2) (Ln = Y, Yb).

m-Cross-Validation in Local median Estimation

m-cross-validation criterion is proposed for selecting a smoothing parameter in a nonparametric median regression model in which a uniform weak convergency rate for the m-cross-validated local median estimate, and the upper and lower bounds of the smoothing parameter selected by the proposed criterion are established. The main contribution of this study shows a drastic difference from those encountered in the classical L2-, L1- cross-validation technique, which leads only to the consistency in the sense of the average. Obviously, our results are novel and nontrivial from the point of view of mathematics and statistics, which provides insight and possibility for practitioners substituting maximum deviation for average deviation to evaluate the performance of the data-driven technique.
