Quantitative prediction model for the depth limit of oil accumulation in the deep carbonate rocks:A case study of Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

Flow Control in Six-Strand Billet Continuous Casting Tundish With Different Configurations

A 1∶2.5 scale tundish model was set up in laboratory for a six-strand billet continuous casting tundish with different configurations to investigate fluid flow characteristics under different operational conditions by measuring residence time distribution *** was found that minimum residence time,maximum concentration time and average residence time of the three strands on the same side of the tundish with the former configuration under normal operation,that is,six strands were open,were small and non-uniform and the tundish had large dead volume *** easily formed on the liquid surface in the pouring zone of the *** fluid flow characteristics in the tundish with the optimal turbulence inhibitor and baffles were improved and became less non-uniform among the *** were not found on the pouring zone surface in the optimal *** non-normal operation,that is,one strand was close,it was important to choose which strand to be closed for maintaining flow characteristics of the rest two *** was found from this investigation that fluid flow characteristics in the optimal configuration tundish with closing strand 2 were better than those with closing strand 3 on the same side.

Effect of human settlements on urban thermal environment and factor analysis based on multi-source data:A case study of Changsha city

In view of the lack of comprehensive evaluation and analysis from the combination of natural and human multi-dimensional factors,the urban surface temperature patterns of Changsha in 2000,2009 and 2016 are retrieved based on multi-source spatial data(Landsat 5 and Landsat 8 satellite image data,POI spatial big data,digital elevation model,etc.),and 12 natural and human factors closely related to urban thermal environment are quickly *** standard deviation ellipse and spatial principal component analysis(PCA)methods are used to analyze the effect of urban human residential thermal environment and its influencing *** results showed that the heat island area increased by 547 km~2 and the maximum surface temperature difference reached 10.1℃during the period 2000–*** spatial distribution of urban heat island was mainly concentrated in urban built-up areas,such as industrial and commercial agglomerations and densely populated urban *** spatial distribution pattern of heat island is gradually decreasing from the urban center to the *** were multiple high-temperature centers,such as Wuyi square business circle,Xingsha economic and technological development zone in Changsha County,wangcheng industrial zone,Yuelu industrial agglomeration,and Tianxin industrial *** 2000 to 2016,the main axis of spatial development of heat island remained in the northeast-southwest *** center of gravity of heat island shifted 2.7 km to the southwest with the deflection angle of 54.9°in 2000–*** center of gravity of heat island shifted to the northeast by 4.8 km with the deflection angle of 60.9°in 2009–*** the whole,the change of spatial pattern of thermal environment in Changsha was related to the change of urban construction *** the PCA method,it was concluded that landscape pattern,urban construction intensity and topographic landforms were the main factors affecting the spatial pattern of urban thermal environmen

目的探索脊柱钉棒系统应用于骨盆后环损伤治疗的效果。方法对36例骨盆后环损伤,按照Denis分型,Ⅰ型20例,Ⅱ型12例,Ⅲ型4例。按照Tile分型,B3型16例,C1型10例,C2型6例,C3型4例。应用脊柱钉棒系统固定治疗,将万向椎弓根钉从双侧髂后上棘处开槽置入髂骨后部内外板间,钉尾沉于骨质内,连接棒通过双侧骶棘肌隧道放置固定后,在骨盆后环处形成一个强有力的"内支架"有效固定。结果30例获得6～18个月随访,平均11个月,患者均无螺钉松动、断棒、骶髂关节再次脱位及内固定物引起的血管、神经损伤并发症。按刘利民等功能评定标准,优15例,良13例,中2例。结论脊柱钉棒系统治疗骨盆后环损伤,固定有效牢靠,操作简便,无需复杂定位,创伤小,恢复快,无透视条件的基层单位也可行手术,极有推广价值。

Olfactory Response of Trichogramma ostriniae (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae) to Volatiles Emitted by Mungbean Plants

Intercropping maize with the prostrate variety of mungbean, Vigna radiata （L.） Wilczek which grows flat along the ground can increase parasitism of the eggs of the Asian corn borer, Ostrinia furnacalis （Guenée）, a crucial insect pest of maize in China, by Trichogramma ostriniae Pang Chen. This study investigated the behavioural responses of T. ostriniae to plant volatiles emitted from whole plants, leaves, and flowers of prostrate and erect varieties of mungbean in a 4-armed olfactometer. Female parasitiods were significantly attracted to the odours from some varieties of prostrate mungbean when the visit duration and the number of visits were considered, but were not attracted to the odours from any erect varieties. The attractive odours were shown to emanate from the leaves, rather than from the flowers of prostrate mungbean plants. These results have implications for the augmentation of Trichogramma parasitoids in bio-control of O. furnacalis and other crop pests.

Measurement of wireless pressure sensors fabricated in high temperature co-fired ceramic MEMS technology

High temperature co-fired ceramics(HTCCs) have wide applications with stable mechanical properties,but they have not yet been used to fabricate *** introducing the wireless telemetric sensor system and ceramic structure embedding a pressure-deformable cavity,the designed sensors made from HTCC materials(zirconia and 96% alumina) are fabricated,and their capacities for the pressure measurement are tested using a wireless interrogation *** the fabricated sensor,a study is conducted to measure the atmospheric pressure in a sealed *** experimental sensitivity of the device is 2 Hz/Pa of zirconia and 1.08 Hz/Pa of alumina below 0.5 MPa with a readout distance of 2.5 *** described sensor technology can be applied for monitoring of atmospheric pressure to evaluate important component parameters in harsh environments.

A dual-function selection system enables positive selection of multigene CRISPR mutants and negative selection of Cas9-free progeny in Arabidopsis

The CRISPR/Cas9 technology revolutionizes targeted gene knockout in diverse organisms including ***,screening edited alleles,particularly those with multiplex editing,from herbicide-or antibiotic-resistant transgenic plants and segregating out the Cas9 transgene represent two laborious *** solutions to facilitate these processes rely on different selection ***,by taking advantage of the opposite functions of a D-amino acid oxidase(DAO)in detoxifying D-serine and in metabolizing non-toxic D-valine to a cytotoxic product,we develop a DAO-based selection system that simultaneously enables the enrichment of multigene edited alleles and elimination of Cas9-containing progeny in Arabidopsis *** five DAOs tested in Escherichia coli,the one encoded by Trigonopsis variabilis(TvDAO)could confer slightly stronger D-serine resistance than other *** expression of TvDAO in Arabidopsis allowed a clear distinction between transgenic and nontransgenic plants in both D-serine-conditioned positive selection and D-valine-conditioned negative *** a proof of concept,we combined CRISPR-induced single-strand annealing repair of a dead TvDAO with D-serine-based positive selection to help identify transgenic plants with multiplex editing,where D-serine-resistant plants exhibited considerably higher co-editing frequencies at three endogenous target genes than those selected by ***,D-valine-based negative selection successfully removed Cas9 and TvDAO transgenes from the survival offspring carrying inherited ***,this work provides a novel strategy to ease CRISPR mutant identification and Cas9 transgene elimination using a single selection marker,which promises more efficient and simplified multiplex CRISPR editing in plants.

Attached cultivation of Scenedesmus ***1 on selected solids and the effect of surface properties on attachment

Attached cultivation systems in the literature do not present a methodology to screen materials for microalgal growth. Hence, a method is needed to find suitable materials for attached cultivation that may enhance attachment of microalgae. In this paper, we have tested seven materials culturing Scenedesmus sp. LX1 (S. sp. LX1)to evaluate the attachment of microalgae on the material surface, its growth in suspension phase and the properties of the materials. Two materials showed attachment of S. sp. LX1, polyurethane foam and loofah sponge, and allowed microalgae to grow both in the surface of the material and suspended phase. Polyurethane foam proved to be a good material for attachment of S. sp. LX1 and the amount of attached microalgae obtained was 51.73 mg/L when adding 100 pieces/L. SEM images showed that the surface and the pore size of the materials affected the attachment of the microalgae, increasing its attachment in scaffold-like materials. Furthermore, the hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of the materials also affected the attachment of microalgae. This research can be used as a methodology to search for the assessment of a material suitable for attachment of microalgae.
