Concave nanostructures may be developed to improve the specific mass activity of a catalyst for formic acid and methanol electro-oxidation. In this work, we report the elctrocatalytic oxidation of methanol and formic acid in acid medium over concave Pt-Cu-Fe ternary nanocubes（NCs）, obtained by the galvanic exchange of Pt and Fe on Cu NCs. The concave Pt-Cu-Fe NCs exhibited improved electrooxidation performance contrasted to Pt-Cu NCs and purchased commercial Pt/C as demonstrated by their improved durability, lower onset potential, and more preferable anti-poisoning properties. These properties are believed to originate from the tailored concave structure of the catalyst and possible synergetic effects among the components of the Pt-Cu-Fe NCs.

Understanding the effects of microwave irradiation and thermal treatment on the dynamic compression and fragmentation properties of rocks is essential to quantify energy consumption in rock *** this study,Fangshan granite(FG)specimens were exposed to microwave irradiation and heat *** damage of FG specimens induced by these two methods was compared using X-ray CT scanning and ultrasonic wave *** temperatures of FG after microwave irradiation and thermal treatment were effectively evaluated using a newly proposed technique.A novelty method for precisely determining the geometric features of fragments is developed to estimate the fragmentation ***,the dynamic uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),the dynamic fragmentation characteristics,and the fragmentation energy of FG after these two pretreatment methods can be reasonably *** noticeable distinction of loading rate effect on the dynamic UCS of FG between these two pretreatment methods is first observed.A relationship is established between the dynamic UCS and the damage induced by microwave irradiation and heat ***,fragmentation energy fan analysis is introduced to accurately compare the fragmentation properties of FG after two pretreatment methods in dynamic compression tests.

Comprehensive Summary A disulfide-based poly(ether-b-amide)copolymer with rapid self-healing capability under moderate conditions was synthesized from 4,4’-dithiodibutyric acid(DTDBA),isophorondiamine(IPDA)and poly(tetramethylene oxide)(PTMO)based on a two-step *** incorporation of IPDA with asymmetric structure and substantial steric hindrance not only effectively decreased the number of regular H-bonds,but also inhibited the crystallization of polyamide segments,imparting the synthesized poly(ether-b-amide)copolymer with an amorphous structural *** on the coordination of segmental diffusion and recombination of disulfide bonds and hydrogen bonds,the scratches and damaged mechanical properties of PEBADS-I611 could be completely self-healed after healing at 40°C for only 11 min and 3 h,respectively.

Novel Yb_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(2-0.5x)(x=0-0.8)ceramics,designed by replacing Ce^(4+)with Yb^(3+)ions were prepared by conventional oxide reaction,and the structural stability of the cubic fluorite structure was assessed using lattice energy and ionic properties of Ce/Yb-O *** oxygen vacancy caused by unequal substitution,which played a decisive role in bond ionicity and lattice energy,was analyzed experimentally by XPS and also theoretically by first *** Yb_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(2-0.5x) ceramics maintain a stable cubic fluorite structure when x≤0.47,corresponding to the minimum lattice energy of 4142 kJ/mol with the lowest ionicity as ƒ_(i)=87.57%.For microwave dielectric properties,when the Yb_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(2-0.5x)(x=0-0.4)ceramics are pure phase,the porosity-corrected permittivity is dependent on the bond *** Q×ƒ values are related to the lattice energy and grain *** temperature coefficient of resonance frequency has been analyzed using bond *** the Yb_(x)Ce_(1-x)O_(2-0.5x)(x=0.5-0.8)ceramics are multiple phases,the microwave dielectric properties are associated with the phase composition and grain growth.

Objective: To investigate the main components and potential mechanism of Shuxuening Injection(SXNI) in the treatment of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI) through network pharmacology and in vivo research. Methods: The Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology(TCMSP) and Pharm Mapper databases were used to extract and evaluate the effective components of Ginkgo biloba leaves, the main component of SXNI. The Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM) and Gene Cards databases were searched for disease targets and obtain the drug target and disease target intersections. The active ingredient-target network was built using Cytoscape 3.9.1 software. The STRING database, Metascape online platform, and R language were used to obtain the key targets and signaling pathways of the anti-MIRI effects of SXNI. In order to verify the therapeutic effect of different concentrations of SXNI on MIRI in rats, 60 rats were first divided into 5 groups according to random number table method: the sham operation group, the model group, SXNI low-dose(3.68 mg/kg), medium-dose(7.35 mg/kg), and high-dose(14.7 mg/kg) groups, with 12 rats in each group. Then, another 60 rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: the sham operation group, the model group, SXNI group(14.7 mg/kg), SXNI+LY294002 group,and LY294002 group, with 12 rats in each group. The drug was then administered intraperitoneally at body weight for 14 days. The main biological processes were validated using in vivo testing. Evans blue/triphenyltetrazolium chloride(TTC) double staining, hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining, terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase d UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL) assay, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), and Western blot analysis were used to investigate the efficacy and mechanism of SXNI in MIRI rats. BACKGROUND Bronchial asthma is closely related to the occurrence of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children,which can easily have adverse effects on children’s learning and social *** have shown that childhood asthma can increase the risk of ADHD and the core symptoms of *** with children with ADHD alone,children with asthma and ADHD are more likely to show high levels of hyperactivity,hyperactive-impulsive and other externalizing behaviors and anxiety in clinical practice and have more symptoms of somatization and emotional *** To explore the relationship between ADHD in children and bronchial asthma and to analyze its influencing *** This retrospective cohort study was conducted at Dongying People's Hospital from September 2018 to August *** diagnosed with ADHD at this hospital were selected as the ADHD group,while healthy children without ADHD who underwent physical examinations during the same period served as the control *** and parental data were collected for all participating children,and multivariate logistic regression analysis was employed to identify risk factors for comorbid asthma in children with *** differences were detected between the ADHD group and the control group in terms of family history ofasthma and allergic diseases, maternal complications during pregnancy, maternal use of asthma and allergymedications during pregnancy, maternal anxiety and depression during pregnancy, and parental relationshipstatus (P < 0.05).
