Evaluation of dot immunogold filtration assay for anti-HAV IgM antibody

AIM To detect hepatitis A virus-specific immunoglobulin M (IgM) antibody *** Colloidal gold with an average dia-meter of 15 nm was prepared by controlled reduction of a boiling solution of 0.2 g/ L chloroauric acid with 10 g/ L sodium citrate and labeled with anti-HAVIgG as gold probe. Dot immunogold filtration assay (DIGFA) has been developed by coating anti-human μ chain on nitrocellulose membrane (NCM) for capturing the anti-HAV IgM in serum, then using cultured hepatitis A antigen as a 'bridge', connecting anti-HAV IgM in sample and anti-HAV IgG labeled colloidal gold. If there was anti-HAV IgM in sample, gold probes would concentrate on NCM, which will appear a pink *** A total of 264 serum samples were comparatively detected with both DIGFA and EliSA by 'blind' method. Among them, 88 were positive and 146 were negative with the two methods. The sensitivity and the specificity of DIGFA were 86.27% and 90.12%, respectively. Fifteen negative serum samples and 15 positive serum samples were detected 3 times repeatedly, the results were the *** DIGFA is a simple, rapid, sensitive, specific and reliable method without expensive equipment and is not interfered with rheumatoid factor (RF) in serum. It is suitable for basic medical laboratories. The test could be applied for diagnosis and epidemiological survey of hepatitis A. Study on the Radiation Synthesis Mechanism and the Electrochemical Property of Polyaniline

As a highly promising conductive polymer material, the synthesis method, structure regulation, and performance improvement of polyaniline (PANI) are hot research topics. In this work, the radiation-induced polymerization of aniline in HNO3 solution was successfully achieved at room temperature without the use of chemical oxidants. Through the analysis of the radiation chemical reactions of inorganic acids and nitrate salt solutions, the characterization of the intermediate free radicals in the irradiated systems, and the influence of the pH of the solutions on the polymerization activity and product morphologies, the radiation-induced polymerization mechanism of aniline is discussed in detail and proposed. Only at a condition of [HNO3]>[aniline], i.e., pHline cations to aniline cation radicals by NO3 generated by radiolysis reactions, and undergoes repeated three steps of monomer free radical recombination, deprotonation, and oxidation reaction of NO3, thus forming a PANI macromolecule. In addition to the polymerization reaction, the aniline units are protonated and oxidized because of the strongly acidity and oxidation of the reaction system under gamma-ray irradiation, which means that the molecular chain structure of the radiation-synthesized PANI can be regulated by pH, nitrate concentration, and irradiation conditions. Radiation-synthesized PANI has a moderate protonation and oxidation state, which can be used for the preparation of PANI supercapacitors with better electrochemical properties than those prepared by chemical oxidation under the same conditions. Hirudin is an active ingredient extracted from leeches(Hirudo).At present,there are many hirudin preparations on the market,which are roughly divided into three categories,the first is natural hirudin,the second is hirudin derivatives such as lepirudin,desirudin and bivalirudin,and the third is new hirudin preparations such as hirudin-bovine serum albumin(BSA)nanoparticles,polydopamine fitted titanium dioxide nanoparticles systems and recombinant hirudins-2(rhv2)-loaded *** pharmacological effects and adverse reactions of hirudin were reviewed to evaluate its safety,efficacy and quality *** has obvious pharmacological effects on cardio-cerebrovascular diseases(coronary atherosclerotic heart disease,myocardial infarction,hyperlipidemia,cerebral infarction,arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower extremities),angiogenesis(fracture,skinflaptransplantation),tissue fibrosis,tumor,ophthalmopathy,hyperuricemia and female ***,attention should be paid to clinical adverse reactions(bleeding,allergic reaction,infection,cutaneous pseudolymphoma).

Phenanthrene perturbs hematopoietic development and causes hematopoietic defects in zebrafish

Phenanthrene(Phe)is one of the common polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the environment,and recent studies show that it can cause cardiac developmental toxicity and ***,it is still unknown whether it can affect the hematopoietic development in aquatic *** address this question,zebrafish(Danio rerio)were chronically exposed to Phe at different *** found that Phe caused structural damage to the renal tubules in the kidney,induced malformed erythrocytes in peripheral blood,and decreased the proportion of myeloid cells in adult zebrafish,suggesting possible negative impacts that Phe posed to hematopoietic ***,using in situ hybridization technology,we found that Phe decreased the expression of primitive hematopoietic marker genes,specifically gata1 and pu.1,accompanied by an obstruction of primitive erythrocyte ***,Phe impaired definitive hematopoiesis,increased aberrations of the transient hematopoietic site(PBI),and reduced the generation of hematopoietic stem cells,ultimately influencing the number of erythrocytes and myeloid *** findings suggested that Phe could induce hematopoietic toxicity in zebrafish embryos and pose unknown ecological risks.

Construction of novel spherical ZnIn2S4-Ag-LaFeO3 heterostructures for enhancing photocatalytic efficiency

Herein we report novel photocatalysts ZnIn2S4-Ag-LaFeO3with the core-shell structured materials prepared by hydrothermal *** order to improve the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation of pollutants,LaFeO3was prepared by hydrothermal followed by calcination,and further Ag nanoparticle（NP） was loaded onto the spherical structure of LaFeO3by photolysis of silver nitrate,and finally the spherical Znln2S4-Ag-LaFeO3photocatalyst was prepared by hydrothermal method *** structure and properties of the as-prepared materials were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and fluorescence *** results show that the synthesized composite photocatalysts display a significant improvement in photocatalytic efficiency relative to the single LaFeO3and ZnIn2S4and form a core-shell ***,the effect of the ratio of each component on the photocatalytic efficiency was investigated in detail,and it is discovered that at an Methylene Blue（MB） concentration of 0.219 mol/L,the degradation rate of MB is 95% at 120 min using 0.02 g of catalyst with an ideal ZnIn2S4:Ag:LaFeO3ratio of 10:0.5:*** possible mechanisms to improve the photocatalytic efficiency were explored.
