AIM:To explore the role of positron emission tomographycomputed tomography(PET-CT)examination in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular adnexal mucosa associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma(OAML).METHODS:The general clinical data,postoperative PET-CT results,treatment regimens,and the prognosis of 21 histopathologically confirmed OAML patients between October 2017 and September 2021 were *** the 21 patients,five patients underwent surgical treatment alone,13 patients underwent surgical treatment combined with radiotherapy,and three patients underwent surgical treatment combined with ***:The follow-up period ranged from 8 to 79mo,with four cases of recurrence and no *** PETCT examination,two patients exhibited both local ocular metabolic elevation and systemic metastasis,and one of these patients had cervical lymph node metastasis,while the other had submandibular and parotid gland *** patients showed only local ocular metabolic elevation,while 10 patients had no abnormal metabolic activity ***:PET-CT examination plays a crucial role in detecting residual lesions and recurrence following tumor resection,aiding in precise disease staging,and facilitating the development of personalized treatment plans,ultimately improving patient prognosis.

As a member of mucins family, MUC2 is an important component of mucus, which is characterized by tandem and irregular repeat sequences rich in threonine and serine. It is strongly expressed by goblet cells that are involved in innate immunity. Japanese flounder is an economically important marine flatfish. In this study, two homologous genes of MUC2 were identified, named MUC2-1 and MUC2-2. Depending on phylogenetic and structural analysis, MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 were clustered in two clades, respectively. Paralichthys olivaceus MUC2-1 showed a closer relationship with MUC2 in the higher vertebrates. Various healthy tissues were analyzed to determine the expression patterns, and both MUC2 genes showed high expression levels in the gills and intestines. Following Edwardsiella tarda challenge, P. olivaceus MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 both showed significant up-regulated expression in intestine and kidney. Moreover, MUC2-1 was significantly up-regulated in gill cell lines following PGN and polyI:C stimulation, and MUC2-2 was significantly up-regulated in gill cell lines following LPS stimulation. In addition, ISH results revealed that MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 showed the same tissue localization in intestine tissues, but displayed different localization in gill. The siRNA-mediated knockdown of MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 genes in the gill cell lines of Japanese flounder affected the expressions of galnt family genes and smad pathway members that are related to mucosal immunity. The results provided a valuable insight into understanding the functions of MUC2 on mucosal immune system in response to the invasion of bacterial pathogen.

Micro-aluminum powder with bi-or tri-component alloy coating as a promising catalyst:Boosting pyrolysis and combustion of ammonium perchlorate

A novel design of micro-aluminum(μAl)powder coated with bi-/tri-component alloy layer,such as:Ni-P and Ni-P-Cu(namely,Al@Ni-P,Al@Ni-P-Cu,respectively),as combustion catalysts,were introduced to release its huge energy inside Al-core and promote rapid pyrolysis of ammonium perchlorate(AP)at a lower temperature in aluminized *** microstructure of Al@Ni-P-Cu demonstrates that a three-layer Ni-P-Cu shell,with the thickness of~100 nm,is uniformly supported byμAl carrier(fuel unit),which has an amorphous surface with a thickness of~2.3 nm(catalytic unit).The peak temperature of AP with the addition of Al@Ni-P-Cu(3.5%)could significantly drop to 316.2℃ at high-temperature thermal decomposition,reduced by 124.3℃,in comparison to that of pure AP with 440.5℃.It illustrated that the introduction of Al@Ni-P-Cu could weaken or even eliminate the obstacle of AP pyrolysis due to its reduction of activation energy with 118.28 kJ/*** laser ignition results showed that the ignition delay time of Al@Ni-P-Cu/AP mixture with 78 ms in air is shorter than that of Al@Ni-P/AP(118 ms),decreased by 33.90%.Those astonishing breakthroughs were attributed to the synergistic effects of adequate active sites on amorphous surface and oxidation exothermic reactions(7597.7 J/g)of Al@Ni-P-Cu,resulting in accelerated mass and/or heat transfer rate to catalyze AP pyrolysis and ***,it is believed to provide an alternative Al-based combustion catalyst for propellant designer,to promote the development the propellants toward a higher energy.

In a crowd density estimation dataset,the annotation of crowd locations is an extremely laborious task,and they are not taken into the evaluation *** this paper,we aim to reduce the annotation cost of crowd datasets,and propose a crowd density estimation method based on weakly-supervised learning,in the absence of crowd position supervision information,which directly reduces the number of crowds by using the number of pedestrians in the image as the supervised *** this purpose,we design a new training method,which exploits the correlation between global and local image features by incremental learning to train the ***,we design a parent-child network(PC-Net)focusing on the global and local image respectively,and propose a linear feature calibration structure to train the PC-Net simultaneously,and the child network learns feature transfer factors and feature bias weights,and uses the transfer factors and bias weights to linearly feature calibrate the features extracted from the Parent network,to improve the convergence of the network by using local features hidden in the crowd *** addition,we use the pyramid vision transformer as the backbone of the PC-Net to extract crowd features at different levels,and design a global-local feature loss function(L2).We combine it with a crowd counting loss(LC)to enhance the sensitivity of the network to crowd features during the training process,which effectively improves the accuracy of crowd density *** experimental results show that the PC-Net significantly reduces the gap between fullysupervised and weakly-supervised crowd density estimation,and outperforms the comparison methods on five datasets of Shanghai Tech Part A,ShanghaiTech Part B,UCF_CC_50,UCF_QNRF and JHU-CROWD++.

Excessively high temperatures inside a power transformer can accelerate the ageing rate and even cause unplanned *** estimating the hot-spot temperature(HST)of a power transformer is important for regulating the load and ensuring long-term *** this study,a closed-loop model of a 110-kV product transformer with an oil natural/air forced(ONAF)cooling mode is built to predict HST,in which the compression ratio of windings,equivalent heat source and radiator geometry are *** to the flow field of the winding,the‘dead oil zone’and reverse oil flow are observed in the horizontal oil *** accuracy of the proposed model is experimentally validated by temperature-rise *** results show that the absolute errors between the measured results and simulation are below 5°C,and the average error is~2°***,the arrangements of windings and radiators are studied to enhance the oil *** adding 5 washers to the high-voltage winding,the average temperature can be decreased by 6°C compared with the case without a *** the radiator can also mitigate the characteristic temperatures,and the optimal height difference between the radiator and winding centre is suggested to be 0.66 m.

The alloy-type material Sb is widely used in the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries（liBs） due to its high theoretical specific ***,its serious volume expansion problem during alloying/dealloying of li+limits its practical *** this work,C-Sb composite was constructed as anode material of liBs by electrospinning route for the first time,Sb was introduced into the polyacrylonitrile-based hard carbon and coal tar pitch-based soft carbon composite amorphous carbon fiber with a diameter of 300-600 nm,which realized high cycling *** C-Sb-2（the mass ratio of polyacrylonitrile to Sb source is 1:2） electrode displayed charge capacities of 1098.5,930.3,841.7,753.5,643.9 and 545.8 mAh·g-1at 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.5,1 and 2 A·g-1,*** when the current density returned to 0.1 A·g-1,the charge capacity was 939.3 mAh·g-1,revealing good stability and *** introduction of Sb into the amorphous carbon improved its conductivity and addressed the volume expansion issue of high specific capacity Sb during charge/***-situ XRD analysis confirmed the high reversibility of the C-Sb-2 during charging and *** functional theory（DFT） calculations revealed the gradual enhancement of the interface interaction between Sbxliyand amorphous carbon（AMC） with increasing lithium content,contributing to the anchoring of alloy nanoparticles on the AMC surface and buffering the volume change of the ***,the gradual lithiation of Sb facilitated the electron transfer from Sbxliyto *** findings hold promise for designing lithium storage materials with exceptional performance,highlighting the potential of C-Sb composites as anode materials for efficient next-generation lithium storage.

Supermassive black holes(SMBHs)are ubiquitous in the center of galaxies,although the origin of their massive seeds is still *** this paper,we investigate the formation of SMBHs from the quantum chromodynamics(QCD)axion *** this case,primordial black holes(PBHs)are considered as the seeds of SMBHs,which are generated from the QCD axion bubbles due to an explicit Peccei–Quinn(PQ)symmetry breaking after *** QCD axion bubbles are formed when the QCD axion starts to oscillate during the QCD phase *** consider a general case in which the axion bubbles are formed with the bubble effective angle θ_(eff)∈(0,π],leading to the minimum PBH mass∼■(10^(4)−10^(7))M⊙for the axion decay constant f_(a)∼■(10^(16))*** PBHs at this mass region may account for the seeds of SMBHs.

In order to compensate the dispersion accumulated in a single mode fiber(SMF)for higher communication capacity,a simplified dispersion-compensation microstructure fiber(DC-MSF)with seven cores is proposed in this *** fiber’s cladding is made of pure silica without air holes,and its outer cores are composed of six germanium up-doped cylinders,which has the advantage of simple *** finite element method(FEM)and beam propagation method(BPM)are used to study the properties of the fiber,and the relationship between the structural parameters of the fiber and the dispersion,as well as the phase matching wavelength,is *** optimizing the structural parameters of the fiber,the dispersion of the fiber can reach-5291.47 ps·nm^(-1)·km^(-1) at 1550 nm,and the coupling loss to the conventional single-mode fiber is only 0.137 d *** with the conventional dispersion-compensation fiber,the fiber has lots of advantages,such as single mode transmission,easy to fabricate and low coupling loss with traditional SMF,etc.

Optical nonreciprocity,which refers to the direction-dependent emission,scattering and absorption of photons,plays a very important role in quantum engineering and quantum information ***,we propose an all-optical approach to achieve the optical dynamical switchable quantum nonreciprocity by an off-resonant chiral two-photon driving in a single microring cavity,which differs from the conventional nonreciprocal *** is shown that the optical field with time-dependent statistical properties can be generated and the nonreciprocity flips periodically,with switchable photon blockade and photon-induced tunneling *** find that the dynamical system is robust and immune to the parameter variations,which loosens the parameter range of ***,the time window for one-way quantum information is sufficiently wide and *** work opens a new idea for the current quantum nonreciprocal research,which can facilitate a memory functionality and be used for future inmemory superconducting quantum *** other nonreciprocal quantum devices,i.e.,dynamical switchable nonreciprocal squeezing and entanglement,may be inspired by our method,which is expected to have important applications in future quantum technology.
