P-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2)-based Zintls have attracted considerable interest in the thermoelectric(TE)field due to their environmental friendliness and low ***,compared to their n-type counterparts,they show relatively low TE performance,limiting their application in TE *** this work,we simultaneously introduce Bi alloying at Sb sites and Ag doping at Mg sites into the Mg_(3)Sb_(2)to coopera-tively optimize the electrical and thermal properties for the first time,acquiring the highest ZT value of∼0.85 at 723 K and a high average ZT of 0.39 in the temperature range of 323-723 K in sample Mg_(2.94)Ag_(0.06)Sb_(1.9)Bi_(0.1).The first-principle calculations show that the codoping of Ag and Bi can shift the Fermi level into the valence band and narrow the band gap,resulting in the increased carrier concentration from 3.50×10^(17)cm^(-3)in the reference Mg 3 Sb 0.9 Bi 0.1 to∼7.88×10^(19)cm^(-3)in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** a result,a remarkable power factor of∼778.9μW m^(-1)K^(-2)at 723 K is achieved in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi ***,a low lattice thermal conductivity of∼0.48 W m^(-1)K^(-1)at 723 K is also obtained with the help of phonon scattering at the distorted lattice,point defects,and nano-precipitates in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** synergistic effect of using the multi-element co-doping/-alloying to optimize electrical properties in Mg_(3)Sb_(2)holds promise for further improving the TE performance of Zintl phase materials or even others.

BACKGROUND Postpartum quality of life(QoL)in women with heart disease has been *** To improve clinical communication and treatment,we integrated medical data and subjective characteristics to study postpartum QoL *** The study assessed QoL 6 wk after birth using the 12-Item Short-Form Health *** Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale,Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire,European Heart Failure Self-Care Behavior Scale,and a self-designed questionnaire based on earlier research were also used to assess patient *** data were *** models were created using multiple linear *** This retrospective study examined postpartum QoL in 105 cardiac *** QoL scores were lower(90.69±13.82)than those of women without heart disease,with physical component scores(41.09±9.91)lower than mental component scores(49.60±14.87).Postpartum depression(33.3%),moderate anxiety(37.14%),pregnancy concerns(57.14%),offspring heart problems(57.14%),and life expectancy worries(48.6%)were all *** previous cardiac surgery,multiparity,higher sadness and cardiac anxiety,and fear of unfavorable pregnancy outcomes were strongly related to lower QoL(R^(2)=0.525).CONCLUSION Postpartum QoL is linked to physical and mental health in women with heart *** study emphasizes the need for healthcare workers to recognize the unique characteristics of these women while developing and implementing comprehensive management approaches during their maternity care.

In relation to the Shifu Road Station project on Line 4 of the Shenyang Metro in China,a small-pipe roof-beam method for constructing subway stations is ***,a numerical simulation was performed to optimize the supporting parameters of the proposed method and determine the design ***,the deformation of the pipe roof and surface settlement during the construction process were ***,the surface settlement attributed to the excavation was studied through field monitoring,and the proposed method was compared with other *** results show that an increase in the pipe-roof spacing has little effect on the surface settlement and piperoof *** bearing capacity of the pipe roof can be efficiently utilized once the flexural stiffness reaches 2EI,and the flexural stiffness is not the dominant factor controlling the *** essential stages in controlling surface settlement are the excavations of the transverse pilot tunnels and the soil between *** final settlement value of the ground was 24.1 mm,resulting in a reduction in the construction period by at least five months while satisfying the control requirements.
