Microstructure Recrystallization and Mechanical Properties of a Cold-Rolled TinbZrTaHf Refractory High-Entropy Alloy

The equiatomic TinbZrTaHf alloy was successfully rolled at room temperature with the reduction of ~ 85%. The microstructure and tensile properties were investigated after cold working and annealing. It was determined that the recrystallization temperature of the TinbZrTaHf alloy between 850 and 900 ℃. Complete recrystallization and normal grain growth occurred, the high stability of single phase was maintained after annealing at 1000, 1200, and 1400 ℃. But the precipitated phase appeared after long term annealing, as seen after 500 h at 1000 ℃. After cold working, the tensile strength and the elongation of TinbZrTaHf were 1137 MPa and 25.1%, respectively. The annealed alloy has a high tensile strength (σ_(b )= 863 MPa) and ductility (ε_(e )= 28.5%). Moreover, the oxidation of TinbZrTaHf alloy at elevated temperatures has a significant impact on its mechanical properties. The poor oxidation resistance of TinbZrTaHf can accelerate tensile failure by inducing fractures at grain boundaries.

Small molecule drugs play a pivotal role in the arsenal of anticancer pharmacological agents. nonetheless, their small size poses a challenge when directly visualizing their localization, distribution, mechanism of action (MOA), and target engagement at the subcellular level in real time. We propose a strategy for developing triple-functioning drug beacons that seamlessly integrate therapeutically relevant bioactivity, precise subcellular localization, and direct visualization capabilities within a single molecular entity. As a proof of concept, we have meticulously designed and constructed a boronic acid fluorescence drug beacon using coumarin–hemicyanine (CHB). Our CHB design includes three pivotal features: a boronic acid moiety that binds both adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and adenosine diphosphate (ADP), thus depleting their levels and disrupting the energy supply within mitochondria;a positively charged component that targets the drug beacon to mitochondria;and a sizeable conjugated luminophore that emits fluorescence, facilitating the application of structured illumination microscopy (SIM). Our study indicates the exceptional responsiveness of our proof-of-concept drug beacon to ADP and ATP, its efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth, and its ability to facilitate the tracking of ADP and ATP distribution around the mitochondrial cristae. Furthermore, our investigation reveals that the micro-dynamics of CHB induce mitochondrial dysfunction by causing damage to the mitochondrial cristae and mitochondrial DnA. Altogether, our findings highlight the potential of SIM in conjunction with visual drug design as a potent tool for monitoring the in situ MOA of small molecule anticancer compounds. This approach represents a crucial advancement in addressing a current challenge within the field of small molecule drug discovery and validation.

In this study,we synthesized an organic material with near-infrared emission capabilities:4-(2-(4-(9-(4-(diphenylamino)phenyl)naphtho[2,3-c][1,2,5]thiadiazol-4-yl)phenyl)-1H-phenol-1-ylidene)malononitrile(TPA).Furthermore,TPA-PEG2000 fluorescent nanoparticles were prepared via coating the shells with ***-PEG2000 exhibited strong near-infrared emission near 700 nm,with a photoluminescence quantum yield of 15.09%,indicating a high emission *** biology experiments have confirmed its low toxicity and excellent *** cholesterol and phospholipid levels in liver cancer cell membranes with low sensitivity or high drug resistance lead to increased rigidity,reduced membrane fluidity,reduced endocytic efficiency,and reduced ***,the uptake of TPA-PEG2000 nanoparticles into cells and the near-infrared fluorescence intensity can be used to evaluate the sensitivity of systemic liver cancer treatment in a simple and efficient manner.

Air pollution threatens human health,necessitating effective and convenient air quality ***,there has been a growing interest in using camera images for air quality ***,a major challenge has been nighttime detection due to the limited visibility of nighttime *** we present a hybrid deep learning model,capitalizing on the temporal continuity of air quality changes for estimating outdoor air quality from surveillance *** model,which integrates a convolutional neural network(Cnn)and long short-term memory(LSTM),adeptly captures spatial-temporal image features,enabling air quality estimation at any time of day,including PM_(2.5) and PM10 concentrations,as well as the air quality index(AQI).Compared to independent Cnn networks that solely extract spatial features,our model demonstrates superior accuracy on self-constructed datasets with R^(2)?0.94 and RMSE=5.11 mg m^(-3) for PM_(2.5),R^(2)=0.92 and RMSE=7.30 mg m^(-3) for PM10,and R^(2)=0.94 and RMSE?5.38 for ***,our model excels in daytime air quality estimation and enhances nighttime predictions,elevating overall *** across diverse image datasets and comparative analyses underscore the applicability and superiority of our model,reaffirming its applicability and superiority for air quality monitoring.

Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation desulfurization(PAODS)is a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional,energyintensive desulfurization techniques for petroleum ***,its development is greatly plagued by the low capability in generating highly reactive oxygen species and sluggish kinetics of sulfide oxidation of reported *** we report a class of MoO_(x)nanocluster decorated on ultrathin Mo-doped TiO_(2)nanosheet(MoO_(x)/MoTiO)catalyst for efficiently facilitating the photocatalytic aerobic oxidation of *** demonstrate that MoO_(x)/MoTiO can not only promote the generation of highly reactive singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))but also enhance the aerobic conversion of sulfides,which leads to a record dibenzothiophene oxidation activity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).The multiple experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations collectively reveal that the doped-Mo sites can interact with the photogenerated excitons,enabling directly energy transfer generation of^(1)O_(2)through a new exciton modulation mechanism,and the coordination unsaturated MoO_(x)clusters play the role of co-catalyst to enhance the separation of charge carriers,and effectively catalyze the reaction between sulfides and1O_(2)to form sulfones.

This study investigates the impact of online-to-offline(O2O)platforms,such as *** and Meituan,on offline sales in low-frequency-high-consumption industries,specifically a mid-to-highend liquor distribution *** data from 77 offline stores in Beijing collected during 2019-2022,the study employs a VAR model to analyze the relationship between offline sales and the use of O2O *** results reveal a long-term equilibrium between the two,with most indicators showing a positive impact of O2O platforms on offline *** research provides valuable insights for lowfrequency-high-consumption enterprises in making multi-channel decisions and quantifies the impact of O2O platforms on offline sales.

Objective To investigate the immediate effects of electro-acupuncture(EA)on endometrial blood flow among recurrent implantation failure(RIF)*** Eighty RIF patients,enrolled from March 2022 to December 2022,were randomly allocated into either the EA group(40 cases)or the waiting-list(WL)group(40 cases)by using a random number *** EA group underwent acupuncture at points of Shenting(GV 24),Baihui(GV 4),Benshen(GB 13),bilateral Zigong(EX-CA 1),Huangshu(KI 16),Sanyinjiao(SP 6)and Xuehai(SP10),and electric acupuncture apparatus was connected to EX-CA 1,KI 16,SP 6,and SP 10 with disperse-dense waves at 4/20 Hz frequencies for 30 min after transvaginal ultrasound,while the WL group received no *** primary outcome measured was the endometrial volume blood *** secondary outcomes included the bilateral uterine artery index,endometrial volume,endometrial blood flow type,vascular distribution index(VI^(MV))for endometrial and ovary,clinical pregnancy rate,and embryo implantation *** In the EA group,there was a notable decrease in the bilateral pulsatility index and a significant improvement in the endometrial blood flow type post-EA(Pndometrial blood flow type and VI^(MV) for the endometrium and right ovary were markedly higher in the EA group compared to the WL group post-treatment(Pnversely,no significant disparities were observed in vascular index,flow index,vascular blood flow index,uterine arterial blood flow indices,endometrial volume,clinical pregnancy rate and embryo implantation rate between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Besides,no adverse events related to EA were *** EA can promptly ameliorate VI^(MV) for the endometrial and right ovary,and endometrial blood flow *** randomized controlled trials are warranted to investigate the long-term effects of EA on blood flow of RIF patients and its implications for pregnancy outcomes.(Trial registration ***2200057377
