Myasthenia gravis(MG) is a prototypical antibody-mediated neurological autoimmune disease with the involvement of humoral immune responses in its pathogenesis. T follicular helper(Tfh) cells have been implicated in many autoimmune diseases. However, whether and how Tfh cells are involved in MG remain ***, we established and studied a widely-used and approved animal model of human MG, the rat model with acetylcholine receptor alpha(AChRa) subunit(RAChR97–116)-induced experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis(EAMG). This model presented mild bodyweight loss 10 days after the first immunization(representing the early stage of disease) and more obvious clinical manifestations and body-weight loss 7 days after the second immunization(representing the late stage of disease). AChR-specific pre-Tfh cells and mature Tfh cells were detected in these two stages, respectively. In cocultures of Tfh cells and B cells, the number of IgG2 bsecreting B cells and the level of anti-AChR antibodies in the supernatant were higher in the cultures containing EAMG-derived Tfh cells. In immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence assays, a substantial number of CD4^+/Bcl-6^+ T cells and a greater number of larger germinal centers were observed in lymph node tissues resected from EAMG rats. Based on these results, wehypothesize that an AChR-specific Tfh cell-mediated humoral immune response contributes to the development of EAMG.

Sweet sorghum mutants induced by^(12)C(6+)-ion irradiation were planted under different soil salinity conditions to investigate the mechanisms maintaining the transport and spatial distribution of Na^+. The functions of the synergistic responses of NHX, AKT1, and SOS1 related to Na^+ accumulation were investigated in control(KFJT-CK) sorghum and KF1210-3 and KF1210-4 mutants. The results indicated that the NHX, AKT1, and SOS1 proteins in sweet sorghum are mainly involved in the transport, exclusion, and spatial distribution of Na^+,respectively. In addition to physiological parameters, we also measured the expression levels of NHX, AKT1, and SOS1 genes. The experimental results indicated that 150 m M Na Cl induced marked increases in the transcripts of NHX and SOS1 after 8 and 12 h in the KF1210-3,KF1210-4, and KFJT-CK cultivars. In contrast, however, a decrease in AKT1 was observed. On the basis of our results, we propose a model in which cooperation amongNHX, AKT1, and SOS1 facilitates Na^+ homeostasis in sweet sorghum in response to an increase in salt concentration. Accordingly, study of the regulatory mechanisms in sweet sorghum generated by carbon ion irradiation is essential for the selection of salt-tolerant cultivars.

Recently,five Global LAnd Surface Satellite(GLASS)products have been released:leaf area index(LAI),shortwave broadband albedo,longwave broadband emissivity,incident short radiation,and photosynthetically active radiation(PAR).The first three products cover the years 19822012(LAI)and 19812010(albedo and emissivity)at 15 km and 8-day resolutions,and the last two radiation products span the period 20082010 at 5 km and 3-h *** products have been evaluated and validated,and the preliminary results indicate that they are of higher quality and accuracy than the existing *** particular,the first three products have much longer time series,and are therefore highly suitable for various environmental *** paper outlines the algorithms,product characteristics,preliminary validation results,potential applications and some examples of initial analysis of these products.

Influence of Cr element on impact fracture process of ductile Ni-resistant alloyed iron at low temperature

In this study, in order to investigate the influence of Cr element on the impact fracture process of ductile Ni-resistant alloyed iron at low temperature, different contents of Cr element were added to ductile Ni-resistant(DNR) austenitic alloyed iron. The experimental results show that Cr addition can increase the hardness of the DNR alloyed iron, but it has an destructive effect on low-temperature impact properties. Through the analysis of the dynamic load and absorbed energy of samples with different Cr contents in the impact fracture process, and the comparison of the impact fracture process at room and low temperatures, it reveals that Cr addition into the DNR alloyed iron can facilitate the formation of the carbide mixture in Mn23C6 and Cr23C6 with homogeneous and discontinuous distribution. Meanwhile, Cr addition also can improve the the maximum dynamic load and crack initiation energy at low temperature, but has no obvious effect on the yield behavior of the DNR alloyed iron in the impact fracture process. Compared with the impact crack propagation process at room temperature, the metastable propagation energy at low temperature declines significantly with an increase in Cr content. This is because the micro-cracks that caused by the carbides weaken the matrix, resulting in the decline of impact crack propagation resistance. The fracture analysis results also show that the impact fracture mechanism gradually transforms from ductile to brittle with an increase in Cr content at low temperature. It explains that too much Cr addition can lead to brittle fracture even though the austenitic matrix has a good toughness at low temperature.

Aneurysmal fibrous histiocytoma is often clinically *** this study,we put forward an insight on how to help diagnose this disease clinically.A retrospective chart review was performed on all patients diagnosed with aneuiysmal fibrous histiocytoma from 2007 to 2017 in the Department of Dermatology,Union Hospital,China,and all clinical data were collected from the hospital *** a total of 418 patients diagnosed with cutaneous fibrous histiocytoma,only 30 patients were confirmed to have aneurysmal fibrous histiocytoma out of which only 2 patients were clinically diagnosed with aneurysmal fibrous *** remaining 28 patients were diagnosed with various types of vascular tumors although pathology classified them as having aneurysmal fibrous *** the 30 patients,9 were male and 21 were *** were following age groups:13-19(mean 16,n=4),20-29(mean 26.25,n=8),30-39(mean 33,n=7),40-49(mean 44,n=4),50-59(mean 56.75,n=4)5 60 and above(mean 61,n=3).Tumors were present on the head,neck,back,waist,hips and upper and lower *** complete excision,there was no recurrence and no ***,lesions showed the typical pseudoangiomatoid spaces without endothelial lining and infiltration of fibrohistiocytes in hemosiderotic *** was suggested that although the prognosis of aneurysmal fibrous histiocytoma is good,accurate diagnosis is paramount to avoid clinical misdiagnosis and subsequent complications.
