Diet,serving as a vital source of nutrients,exerts a profound influence on human health and disease ***,dietary interventions have emerged as promising adjunctive treatment strategies not only for cancer but also for neurodegenerative diseases,autoimmune diseases,cardiovascular diseases,and metabolic *** interventions have demonstrated substantial potential in modulating metabolism,disease trajectory,and therapeutic *** reprogramming is a hallmark of malignant progression,and a deeper understanding of this phenomenon in tumors and its effects on immune regulation is a significant challenge that impedes cancer *** intake,as a key environmental factor,can influence tumor *** evidence indicates that dietary interventions might affect the nutrient availability in tumors,thereby increasing the efficacy of cancer ***,the intricate interplay between dietary interventions and the pathogenesis of cancer and other diseases is *** encouraging results,the mechanisms underlying diet-based therapeutic strategies remain largely unexplored,often resulting in underutilization in disease *** this review,we aim to illuminate the potential effects of various dietary interventions,including calorie restriction,fasting-mimicking diet,ketogenic diet,protein restriction diet,high-salt diet,high-fat diet,and high-fiber diet,on cancer and the aforementioned *** explore the multifaceted impacts of these dietary interventions,encompassing their immunomodulatory effects,other biological impacts,and underlying molecular *** review offers valuable insights into the potential application of these dietary interventions as adjunctive therapies in disease management.

Although crystalline anode materials with long-range ordered lattice structure are in favor of facilitating the electron transfer,their structures are easily disrupted during long-term cycling due to the continuous embedding/de-embedding of lithium *** contrast,the amorphous materials have abundant defects and lithium ion storage sites,refl ecting a superior reaction kinetics and long-term cycling ***,we synthesize an integrated hybrid anode by in-situ loading amorphous NiMo_(3)S_(13)nanosheets on nickel foam *** ting from the introduction of Ni^(2+)that amorphizes the molybdenumsulfur clusters,the assembled lithium ion battery based on the integrated NiMo_(3)S_(13)/nickel foam anode delivers a specifi c capacity up to 1659 mA·h·g^(−1)at a current density of 0.6 A·g^(−1)and exhibits superior rate/cycling performance.

Background:Yiqi Peiyuan(YQPY)prescription,a composite prescription of traditional Chinese medicine,has been used to prevent or delay the continued deterioration of renal function after acute kidney injury(AKI)in some institutions and has shown considerable ***:This is the first randomized controlled trial to assess efficacy and safety of YQPY for improving short-term prognosis in adult patients with ***,setting,participants and interventions:This is a prospective,double-blind,multicenter,randomized,and placebo-controlled clinical trial.A total of 144 enrolled participants were randomly allocated to two groups according to a randomization ***,caregivers and investigators assessing the outcomes were blinded to group *** in the YQPY group received 36 g YQPY granules twice a day for 28 *** in the placebo group received a placebo in the same dose as the YQPY *** outcome measures:The primary outcome was the change in the estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)between baseline and after 4 and 24 weeks of *** secondary outcomes were the change of serum creatinine(Scr)level between baseline and after treatment,and the incidence of endpoint events,defined as eGFR increasing by more than 25%above baseline,eGFR>75 mL/min per1.73 m2or the composite endpoint,which was defined as the sum of patients meeting either of the above ***:Data from a total of 114 patients(59 in the YQPY group and 55 in the control group)were *** mean changes in eGFR and Scr in weeks 4 and 24 had no difference between the two *** further subgroup analysis(22 in the YQPY group and 31 in the control group),the mean change in eGFR after treatment for 4 weeks was 27.39 mL/min per 1.73 m2in the YQPY group and 5.78 mL/min per1.73 m2in the placebo group,and the mean difference between groups was 21.61 mL/min per 1.73 m2(P<0.001).Thirteen(59.1%)patients in the YQPY group and 5(16.1%)in the placebo g

BACKGROUND Gender consciousness directly affects the development of gender identity,which is a continuous and lifelong ***,hospitalization is a part of many children's lives and has an impact on their gender *** To investigate the current situation of gender identity in lower primary school children by conducting a survey of 202 hospitalized children in the lower grades and to provide a theoretical basis and foundation for the cultivation of gender identity and medical treatment of children based on the *** study aims to inspire clinical medical staff to scientifically and reasonably arrange hospital wards for lower primary school children and pay attention to gender protection during the medical treatment process and to help children shape a unified and clear gender identity,which will enable them to better integrate into society and promote their personality *** The gender consciousness scale for elementary and middle school students was RESULTS Gender identity was already present in lower primary school *** children's gender roles and gender equality consciousness were strong,exceeding the critical value,but their gender characteristics,gender identity,and gender ideal consciousness were *** aged 6 had the weakest gender identity,and girls had significantly stronger gender identity than *** Gender identity is already present in lower primary school children,providing a basis and inspiration for the cultivation of gender identity and medical treatment of lower primary school *** medical staff should be aware of and understand these results and should scientifically and reasonably arrange hospital wards for lower primary school children.

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a malignant epithelial tumor,characterized by squamous cell differentiation,it is the sixth leading cause of cancer-related deaths *** increased mortality rate of ESCC patients is predominantly due to the advanced stage of the disease when discovered,coupled with higher risk of metastasis,which is an exceedingly malignant charac-teristic of cancer,frequently leading to a high mortality ***,there is currently no specific and effective marker to predict and treat metastasis in ***(miRNAs)are a class of small non-coding RNA molecules,approximately 22 nucleotides in *** are vital in modulating gene expression and serve pivotal regulatory roles in the occurrence,progression,and prognosis of ***,we have examined the literature to highlight the intimate correlations between miRNAs and ESCC metastasis,and show that ESCC metastasis is predominantly regulated or regulated by genetic and epigenetic *** review proposes a potential role for miRNAs as diagnostic and therapeutic biomarkers for metastasis in ESCC metastasis,with the ultimate aim of reducing the mortality rate among patients with ESCC.

Screening of morphology-related genes based on predatorinduced transcriptome sequencing and the functional analysis of Dagcut gene in Daphnia galeata

High fish predation pressure can trigger"induced defense"in Daphnia species,resulting in phenotypic plasticity in morphology,behavior,or life-history *** molecular mechanisms of defense morphogenesis(e.g.,the tail spine and helmet)in Daphnia remain *** the pres-ent study,the tail spine,helmet,and body of Daphnia galeata under fish and non-fish kairomones conditions were collected for transcriptome analysis.A total of 24 candidate genes related to the morphological defense of *** were identified,including 2 trypsin,one cuticle protein,1 C1qDC protein,and 2 ferritin *** function of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)in relation to tail spine morphology was assessed using RNA interference(RNAi).Compared with the EGFP(Enhanced green fluorescent protein)treatment,after RNAi,the expression levels of the Dagcut gene(*** cuticle protein gene)showed a significant ***,the tail spines of the offspring pro-duced by *** after RNAi of the Dagcut gene appeared curved during the *** whole-mount in situ hybridization,a clear signal site was detected on the tail spine of *** before RNAi which disappeared after *** results suggest that the Dagcut gene may play an important role in tail spine formation of ***,and will provide a theoretical basis for studying the molecular mechanisms of the morpho-logical plasticityin cladocera inthefuture.

Herein, we disclose a highly regio-/chemoselective tandem asymmetric dearomatized halofunctionalization reaction of phenoltethered ynamides with diverse electrophilic halogenation sources in a catalyst-free manner for the practical and rapid assembly of a series of halogenated spirocyclic enones. Besides, the related dearomatized selenation and protonation are also achieved,affording the corresponding selenated and protonated spirocycles in high efficiency. Moreover, the enantioselectivities of these products can be perfectly induced by Evans auxiliaries (99%ees). Significantly, this protocol not only represents the first tandem asymmetric halofunctionalization reaction of phenol derivatives, but also constitutes the first asymmetric halogenation/selenation of ynamides. Theoretical calculations indicate a remote induction model of Evans chiral auxiliary-attached keteniminium.

本文首先定量测度中国财政货币政策调控指数,并结合经济现实总结中国财政货币政策的盯住目标偏好,进一步基于TVTP-MS-FAVAR模型“量化”检验财政货币政策的“总量调控”与“结构调控”效应。研究发现:第一,财政货币政策调控指数具有较好拟合效果与指引功效,宏观调控“逆周期”特征明显,财政政策主要关注经济增长,货币政策侧重盯住物价水平。第二,财政政策的增长效应存在“收支”差异与“结构”异同,政府投资性支出与消费税的“区制”调控功效明显。第三,货币政策的价格效应存在“量价”分化与“区制”偏好,数量工具在物价上涨“区制”调控效应显著,价格工具在物价下跌“区制”调控效果更优。本文结论对政策当局准确把握财政货币政策调控取向时变动态特征、盯住目标偏好、结构调控及协同配合范式,具有重要参考价值。

The reconstruction of muon energies is crucial for the data analysis of neutrino experiments using large water Cherenkov detectors,but the resolution for muon energy reconstruction using traditional methods is ***,we propose a revised approach to remove noisy optical modules along the track produced by the propagation of muons through *** number of photons on the optical modules is first corrected by the attenuation properties of light in *** the difference in time between the observed optical modules and the expected ones is determined based on the geometry of the triggered optical ***,the standard of correction is measured by the ratio of photon number before and after *** modules selection conditions were optimized according to these parameters,with most noisy optical modules successfully removed,improving the resolution of muon energy reconstruction.
