Multidisciplinary treatment of molten aluminum combined burn: An unusual case report

Molten aluminum is among the most common causes of burns in the metal industry. However, only few reports are available on molten aluminum injuries. Herein, we report an unusual case of molten aluminum burn. The patient had burns not only on the body surface but also in the respiratory tract and esophagus, adding to the difficulty of treatment. Multidisciplinary consultation and cooperation led to the development of a treatment plan for the patient, which included tracheotomy, respiratory management, endoscopic therapy, infection control, and psychological support. To our knowledge, this is the first report of molten aluminum-induced burns involving the face, neck, respiratory tract, esophagus, and eyes. We also describe our experience with multidisciplinary treatment for the management of molten aluminum burns.

Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)and clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/CRISPR-associated protein(CRISPR/Cas)systems are effective technologies for rapid and accurate gene function verification in modern plant ***,the investigation of gene silencing and editing in radish remains *** this study,a bleaching phenotype was generated through the knockdown of RsPDS using tobacco rattle virus(TRV)-and turnip yellow mosaic virus(TYMV)-mediated gene silencing *** TYMV-mediated gene silencing efficiency was higher than the TRV-based VIGS system in *** expression level of RsPDS was significantly inhibited using VIGS in'NAU-067'radish *** rootless seedlings of‘NAU-067'were infected with Agrobacterium rhizogenes using the 2300GN-Ubi-RsPDS-Cas9 vector with two target *** adventitious roots were blue with GUs staining,and four of these adventitious roots were edited at target sequence 1 of the RsPDS gene as indicated by Sanger ***,albino lines were generated with ***-mediated transformation of radish *** base substitutions and three base deletions occurred at target sequence 2 in Line 1,and three base insertions and three base substitutions occurred at target sequence 1 in Line *** study shows that VIGS and CRISPR/Cas9 techniques can be employed to precisely verify the biological functions of genes in radish,which will facilitate the genetic improvement of vital horticultural traits in radish breeding programs.

以一体化布置的中高压自然循环反应堆模拟实验装置为基础,从实验和理论分析两方面研究了上升段和下降段之间的传热以及堆芯和主换热器内温度变化对稳态自然循环能力造成的影响。实际测得了上升段进出口温差和套管式换热器一次侧水温在轴向的非线性分布,并推导得到了上升段与下降段之间的传热以及热源和热阱中温度分布对自然循环能力影响的表达式。研究表明,当上升段和下降段之间传热造成温度变化1~20℃,热源和热阱均为抛物线温度分布时,自然循环能力减小约0.2%~4%。

皮肤瘢痕疙瘩是以真皮内成纤维细胞过度增生、细胞外基质大量沉积、表皮结构异常为特点的皮肤纤维增生性疾病。其病因不清,临床上缺乏特异性的治疗手段。传统的治疗方法有外科手术、冷冻、压迫疗法、局部注射药物(激素、5-Fu等),但效果均不尽如人意。近年来,随着激光理论及技术的完善,光电治疗越来越多地应用于瘢痕的治疗,尤其是IPD/DPL、PDL等技术,可选择性作用于瘢痕疙瘩中毛细血管内的血红蛋白损伤血管内皮细胞,从而引起血管闭塞,起到使瘢痕组织"褪红"的效果,结合其他瘢痕治疗手段,可较好地抑制瘢痕疙瘩的生长。其他作用于瘢痕疙瘩基质的光电治疗手段,由于有刺激瘢痕疙瘩进一步增生的风险,临床上并不建议使用。

目的体外研究蓝光是否具有杀灭鲍曼不动杆菌的作用.方法鲍曼不动杆菌标本采集于我院烧伤科病房,通过细菌鉴定仪鉴定.采用12、60、120、240 J/cm2的蓝光照射细菌（蓝光组）,与对照组（同样离心处理但不予光照）比较.分别采用平板划线、菌落计数、活/死菌染色法评价蓝光杀菌效果.结果与对照组比较,60J/cm2及以上剂量组蓝光照射具有明显杀菌效果（P均＜0.01）,呈剂量-效应关系.结论蓝光具有高效杀灭鲍曼不动杆菌的作用,且具有剂量-效应关系.

It has been found recently in experiments that diamond/lonsdaleite biphase could possess excellent thermal-mechanical properties,implying that the properties of carbon materials can be improved by reasonably designing their internal *** mechanism of the excellent performance arising from biphasic structure is still unknown and needs to be *** this paper,we established a series of possible diamond/lonsdaleite biphasic structures and revealed the optimization mechanism of the biphasic structure using first principles *** shows in our ab-initio molecular dynamics simulations that the lonsdaleite cannot exist stably at room temperature,which could explain why pure lonsdaleite can hardly be found or *** analysis shows that partial slip would occur in the lonsdaleite region if the applied strain is sufficiently large,leading to the transition from biphasic phase to cubic ***,further shear strain would be applied along the hard shear direction of the cubic structure,resulting in an ascent of *** results presented could offer an insight into the structural transformation at high temperature and large strain.

Natural minerals-based energy materials have attracted enormous attention because of the advantages of good materials consistency,high production,environmental friendliness,and low *** uniform distribution of grains can effectively inhibit the aggregation of active materials,improving lithium storage *** this work,natural graphite is modified by polyvinylpyrrolidone to obtain modified graphite with reduced size and better *** pyrite composite polyvinylpyrrolidone-modified graphite(pyrite/PG)material with uniform particle distribution is obtained by the ball milling *** subsequent calcination process converts pyrite/PG into Fe_(1-x)Scompounded with polyvinylpyrrolidone-modified graphite(Fe_(1-x)S/PG).The homogeneous grain distributions of active material can facilitate the faster transfer of electrons and promote the efficient utilization of active *** as-prepared Fe_(1-x)S/PG electrode exhibits a remarkably reversible specific capacity of 613.0 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.2 A·g^(-1)after 80 cycles and an excellent rate capability of 523.0 mAh·g^(-1)at 5 A·g^(-1).Even at a higher current density of 10 A·g^(-1),it can deliver a specific capacity of 348.0 mAh·g^(-1).Moreover,the dominant pseudocapacitance in redox reactions accounts for the impressive rate and cycling *** work provides a low-cost and facile method to fabricate natural mineral-based anode materials and apprise readers about the impact of uniform particle distribution on lithium storage performance.
