The nuclear data of n+^(240;242;244)Pu reactions for incident energy below 200 MeV are calculated and evaluated to meet the requirement in the design of an accelerator-driven subcritical system. The optical model is used to calculate the total, nonelastic, shape elastic cross sections, shape elastic scattering angular distributions, and transmission coefficients. The distorted-wave Born approximation is applied to calculate the direct inelastic scatterings to the discrete excited states. The nuclear reaction statistical models and fission theory are applied to describe neutron, proton, deuteron, triton, helium-3, alpha and c emissions, and fission consistently. The results thus obtained are compared with experimental data and the evaluated data obtained from ENDF/B-VII.1 and JENDL-4.0.

Production of light complex particles from the n＋^238u reaction is analyzed with the exciton model including the improved Iwamoto-Harada pickup mechanism for the preequilibrium process. It is allowed that some of the nucleons forming the complex ejectile come from levels below the Fermi energy, and the intrinsic structure of the emitted particle is taken into account. The equilibrium-state emissions are also considered by using Hauser- Feshbach theory with the width fluctuation correction and the evaporation model angular distributions, energy spectra and double differential cross sections of neutron, alpha emissions for the n＋^238U reaction are consistently calculated and analyzed with the energy range En ≤150 MeV. ENDF-formatted nuclear data including information charged particles are obtained. We achieved a set of 9Be global phenomenological optical model potentials by fitting a large experimental dataset of the elastic scattering observable for target mass numbers from 24 to *** obtained 9Be global optical model potential was applied to predict elastic-scattering angular distributions and total reaction cross-sections of 8,10,11B *** predictions are made by performing a detailed analysis comparing with the available experimental ***,these elastic scattering observables are also predicted for some lighter targets outside of the given mass number range,and reasonable results are *** physical explanations for the observed differences are also discussed.

A microscopic approach is employed to study the optical potential for the 7Li-nucleus interaction system without any free *** is obtained by folding the microscopic optical potentials of the constituent nucleons of 7Li over their density *** employ an isospin-dependent nucleon microscopic optical potential,which is based on the Skyrme nucleon-nucleon effective interaction and derived using the Green's function method,as the nucleon optical *** harmonic oscillator shell model is used to describe the internal wave function of 7Li and obtain the nucleon density *** 7Li microscopic optical potential is used to predict the reaction cross-sections and elastic scattering angular distributions for the target range from 27Al to 208Pb and energy range below 450 ***,the results can reproduce the measured data reasonably *** addition,the microscopic optical potential is comparable to a global phenomenological optical potential by fitting the presently existing measured data.

We construct a new global optical model potential to describe the elastic scattering of *** experimental data of elastic-scattering angular distributions and total reaction cross sections for targets from 24Mg to 209Bi are considered below 200 MeV within the framework of the optical *** results calculated using the derived global optical potential are then compared with the existing experimental *** reliability of the global optical potential is further tested by predicting the elastic scattering data out of the mass and energy ranges,within which the global potential parameters are determined,and reasonable results are also obtained.

The elastic-scattering angular distributions and total reaction cross sections of ^(9,10,11,13,14)C projectiles were predicted using the obtained ^(12)C and ^(9)Be global optical model potentials,*** predictions were analyzed in detail by comparison with the available experimental *** results indicate that the ^(12)C and ^(9)Be global optical model potentials provide a satisfactory description of the elastic scattering data for the reactions induced by the ^(9,10,11,13)*** the neutron-rich carbon isotope ^(14)C,the elastic scattering can be well described by changing the real part radius parameter of the ^(12)C global optical model *** physical explanations for the observed differences are further discussed.

Based on the unified Hauser–Feshbach and exciton model,which can describe the particle emission processes between discrete energy levels with energy,angular momentum,and parity conservations,a statistical theory of light nucleus reaction(STLN)is developed to calculate the double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing neutron and light charged particles for the proton-induced^(6) Li reaction.A significant difference is observed between the p+^(6) Li and p+^(7) Li reactions owing to the discrepancies in the energy-level structures of the *** reaction channels,including sequential and simultaneous emission processes,are analyzed in *** the double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing proton as an example,the influence of contaminations(such as^(1) H,^(7)Li,^(12)C,and^(16)O)on the target is identified in terms of the kinetic energy of the first emitted *** optical potential parameters of the proton are obtained by fitting the elastic scattering differential *** calculated total double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing proton and deuteron at E_(p)=14 MeV agree well with the experimental data for different outgoing ***,the mixed double differential cross-sections of^(3) He andαare in good agreement with the *** agreement between the measured data and calculated results indicates that the two-body and three-body breakup reactions need to be considered,and the pre-equilibrium reaction mechanism dominates the reaction *** on the STLN model,a PluNF code for the p+^(6) Li reaction is developed to obtain an ENDF-6-formatted file of the double-differential cross-sections of the nucleon and light composite charged particles.

Recently,heavy precipitation(HP)events have occurred frequently in North China(NC),causing devastating economic losses and human ***,the short-term climate prediction of HP is quite *** year-to-year increment(DY)method and sliding correlations,we developed a robust seasonal prediction model for late-summer HP days(HPDs)in NC during 1982–2022,utilizing three independent predictors—February sea surface temperature(SST)in the Indian Ocean(SST_IO),February snow depth over North Asia(SDE_NA),and May melted snow depth in NC(MSDE_NC).The SST_IO anomalies affect NC's precipitation through the Pacific-Japan *** SDE_NA anomalies are associated with East Asian anomalous anticyclone by southeastern propagation of Rossby wave at *** MSDE_NC anomalies are followed by vertical motion and moisture anomalies in situ and thereby cause precipitation *** prediction model can well simulate the variations of the HPDs,with a correlation coefficient(CC)of 0.81(0.65)between the observed and predicted HPDs_DY(HPDs_anomaly).The percentage with the same sign for 15 extreme HPDs_anomaly years(PSSE)is 100%.Moreover,in the cross-validation test during 1982–2022,the PSSE for HPDs_anomaly is as high as 100%,along with a low rootmean-square error of *** independent hindcasts during 2013–2022,the CC between the observed and predicted HPDs_DY(HPDs_anomaly)is 0.93(0.83),together with high Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency(0.82)and agreement index(0.89).Specifically,the predictions are broadly consistent with the observations for 2015,2016,2017,2021,and 2022,reflecting excellent performance of this prediction model of HPDs in NC.
