α-Imino metal carbenes are versatile intermediates in organic synthesis, and have broad applications in the assembly of divergent N-heterocycles. However, the catalytic.enantioselective desymmetrization based on α-imino metal carbenes has not been developed to date. Herein, we disclose an enantioselective desymmetrizing c（sp2）–H functionalization of azide-ynamides via α-imino copper carbenes, leading to the effic.ent assembly of divergent chiral indoloazepines in generally moderate to excellent yields with high enantioselectivities. Notably, this reaction represents the first enantioselective desymmetrization based on α-imino metal carbenes. Further synthetic transformations and biological tests show the potential utility of this method. Moreover,computational studies are employed to elucidate the reaction mechanism and the origin of enantioselectivity.

Viscoelastic surfactants(VES)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VES cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.Here we synthesized a novel c22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(EDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%Hcl with a commercial VES,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(EDAB).The feasibility of EDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its Hcl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%EDPA—20 wt%Hcl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%EDAB Hcl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1H NMR spectra and cryo-TEM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of EDPA remained intact in such context,but the EDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%EDPA Hcl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%Hcl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of EDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VES in highly concentrated Hcl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).

Sodium metal batteries(SMBs)are rising as viable alternatives to lithium-ion systems due to their superior energy density and sodium's relative ***,SMBs face significant impediments,particularly the exceedingly high negative-to-positive capacity ratios(N/P ratios)which severely encumber energy density and hinder their practical ***,a novel nucleophilic Na_(3)P interphase on aluminum foil has been designed to significantly lower the nucleation energy barrier for sodium atom deposition,resulting in a remarkable reduction of nucleation overpotential and effic.ent mitigation of dendritic growth at high sodium deposition of 5 mA h cm^(−2).The interphase promotes stable cycling in anode-less SMB configurations with a low N/P ratio of 1.4 and high cathode mass loading of 11.5 mg cm^(−2),and demonstrates a substantial increase in high capacity retention of 92.4%after 500 cycles even under 1 c rate *** innovation signifies a promising leap forward in the development of high-energy-density,anode-less SMBs,offering a potential solution to the longstanding issues of cycle stability and energy effic.ency.

With the shortage of lithium resources,sodiumion batteries(SIBs)are considered one of the most promising candidates for lithium-ion batteries.P2-type and O3-type layered oxides are one of the few cathodes that can access high energy ***,they usually exhibit structural change,capacity decay,and slow Na ion ***,we present layered ternary-phase cathodes with P2,P3 and O3 phases by a lattice doping strategy,which is demonstrated by X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** the characteristics of P2,P3 and O3 phases,the layered composites show performance improvement during long-term battery *** particular,Na_(0.7)Li_(0.1)co_(0.3-)Fe_(0.3)Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NLcFM)delivers a reversible capacity of120.1 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1c(1.0c=175 mA·g^(-1))with a superior capacity retention of 72.5%after 1000 cycles *** work offers insights into the development of advanced cathode materials for SIBs.

In addition to the cardinal motor symptoms,pain is a major non-motor symptom of Parkinson's disease(PD).Neuroinflammation in the substantia nigra pars compacta and dorsal striatum is involved in neurodegeneration in *** the polarization of microglia and astrocytes in the dorsal striatum and their contribution to motor deficits and hyperalgesia in PD have not been *** the present study,we observed that hemiparkinsonian mice established by unilateral 6-OHDA injection in the medial forebrain bundle exhibited motor deficits and mechanical *** these mice,both microglia and astrocytes in the dorsal striatum were activated and polarized to M1/M2 microglia and A1/A2 astrocytes as genes specific to these cells were *** effects peaked 7 days after 6-OHDA ***,striatal astrocytes in parkinsonian mice also displayed hyperpolarized membrane potentials,enhanced voltage-gated potassium currents,and dysfunction in inwardly rectifying potassium channels and glutamate *** administration of minocycline,a microglia inhibitor,attenuated the expression of genes specific to M1 microglia and A1 astrocytes in the dorsal striatum(but not those specific to M2 microglia and A2 astrocytes),attenuated the damage in the nigrostriatal dopaminergic system,and alleviated the motor deficits and mechanical allodynia in parkinsonian *** contrast,local administration of minocycline into the dorsal striatum of parkinsonian mice mitigated only *** study suggests that M1 microglia and A1 astrocytes in the dorsal striatum may play important roles in the development of pathophysiology underlying hyperalgesia in the early stages of PD.

Achieving spatiotemporal control of light at high speeds presents immense possibilities for various applications in communication,computation,metrology,and *** integration of subwavelength metasurfaces and optical waveguides offers a promising approach to manipulate light across multiple degrees of freedom at high speed in compact photonic integrated circuit(PIc)***,we demonstrate a gigahertz-rate-switchable wavefront shaping by integrating metasurface,lithium niobate on insulator photonic waveguides,and electrodes within a PIc *** proofs of concept,we showcase the generation of a focus beam with reconfigurable arbitrary polarizations,switchable focusing with lateral focal positions and focal length,orbital angular momentum light beams as well as Bessel *** measurements indicate modulation speeds of up to the gigahertz *** integrated platform offers a versatile and effic.ent means of controlling the light field at high speed within a compact system,paving the way for potential applications in optical communication,computation,sensing,and imaging.

In the practical environment,it is very common for the simultaneous occurrence of base excitation and *** the combined energy of vibration and wind with a single energy harvesting structure is *** this purpose,the effects of the wind speed and random excitation level are investigated with the stochastic averaging method(SAM)based on the energy *** results of the analytical prediction are verified with the Monte-carlo method(McM).The numerical simulation shows that the introduction of wind can reduce the critical excitation level for triggering an inter-well jump and make a bi-stable energy harvester(BEH)realize the performance enhancement for a weak base ***,as the strength of the wind increases to a particular level,the influence of the random base excitation on the dynamic responses is weakened,and the system exhibits a periodic galloping response.A comparison between a BEH and a linear energy harvester(LEH)indicates that the BEH demonstrates inferior performance for high-speed *** experiments are conducted to investigate the validity of the theoretical prediction and numerical *** experimental findings also show that strong random excitation is favorable for the BEH in the range of low wind ***,as the speed of the incoming wind is up to a particular level,the disadvantage of the BEH becomes clear and evident.
