The dramatic advances in flexible/wearable electronics have garnered great attention for touch sensors for practical applications in human health monitoring and human–machine ***-powered triboelectric tactile sensors with high sensitivity,reduced crosstalk,and simple processing routes are highly ***,we introduce a facile and low-cost fabrication approach for a metal-electrode free,fully integrated,flexible,and self-powered triboelectric tactile sensor array with 8-by-8 sensor *** the height difference between the sensor units and interconnect electrodes,the crosstalk derived from the electrodes has been successfully suppressed with no additional shielding *** tactile sensor array shows a remarkable sensitivity of 0.063VkPa^(–1) with a linear range from 5 to 50kPa,which covers a broad range of testing ***,due to the advanced mechanical design,the flexible sensor array exhibits great capability of pressure sensing even under a curved *** voltage responses from the pattern mapping by finger touching demonstrate the uniformity of the sensor ***,real-time tactile sensing associated with light-emitting diode(LED)array lighting demonstrates the potential application of the sensor array in position tracking,self-powered touch screens,human–machine interfaces and many others.

Statistical analysis of dependent competing risks model in constant stress accelerated life testing with progressive censoring based on copula function

In this paper, we consider the statistical analysis for the dependent competing risks model in theconstant stress accelerated life testing (CSALT) with Type-II progressive censoring. It is focusedon two competing risks from Lomax distribution. The maximum likelihood estimators of theunknown parameters, the acceleration coefficients and the reliability of unit are obtained by usingthe Bivariate Pareto Copula function and the measure of dependence known as Kendall’s *** addition, the 95% confidence intervals as well as the coverage percentages are obtained byusing Bootstrap-p and Bootstrap-t method. Then, a simulation study is carried out by the MonteCarlo method for different measures of Kendall’s tau and different testing schemes. Finally, a realcompeting risks data is analysed for illustrative purposes. The results indicate that using copulafunction to deal with the dependent competing risks problems is effective and feasible.

Free-standing SnNb_(2)O_(6)@CSN film as flexible anode for high performance sodium-ion batteries

Free-standing electrodes are promising candidates for flexible rechargeable batteries, toward the application of flexible energy storage devices, due to their merits of additive-free, lightweight, and high energy density. Herein, we report a free-standing SnNb_(2)O_(6)@CSN flexible film with SnNb_(2)O_(6) encapsulated in 3D carbon skeleton nanofibers by electrospinning and carbonization processes as flexible anode for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs). The 3D carbon skeleton nanofibers serve as ion/electron transport pathway to improve the electrochemical reaction kinetics and meanwhile alleviate the volume changes of SnNb_(2)O_(6) during charge-discharge processes. The as-constructed half-cell(SnNb_(2)O_(6)@CSN‖Na) exhibits excellent cycling stability of 99.2 m Ah/g at 0.5 A/g after 950 cycles(coulombic efficiency of ~100%) and a high rate performance of 108.6 mAh/g at 10 A/g. In addition, the pouch cell can light up the LEDs at different bending angles(0°, 90°, 180°). This research shows a promising anode material for flexible energy storage electronics.

The emerging new services in the sixth generation(6G)communication system impose increasingly stringent requirements and challenges on video *** communications are envisioned as a promising solution to these *** paper provides a highly-efficient solution to video transmission by proposing a scalable semantic transmission algorithm,named scalable semantic transmission framework for video(SST-V),which jointly considers the semantic importance and channel ***,a semantic importance evaluation module is designed to extract more informative semantic features according to the estimated importance level,facilitating high-efficiency semantic *** further considering the channel condition,a cascaded learning based scalable joint semanticchannel coding algorithm is proposed,which autonomously adapts the semantic coding and channel coding strategies to the specific signalto-noise ratio(SNR).Simulation results show that SST-V achieves better video reconstruction performance,while significantly reducing the transmission overhead.

Impact damage testing based on high-speed continuous water jet aircraft coatings

When an aircraft passes through a rainy area at high speed,the coating on the front edge of the fuselage will be continuously eroded by raindrops,causing the coating to wear,crack or even peel *** paper uses carbon fiber T300 material as the base material,and at the different impact speeds and impact numbers,water cutting equipment was used to simulate the erosion of the coating caused by the continuous impact of water *** damage morphology of samples at different damage stages was observed by digital microscope and Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),and the damage evolution curve was established to analyze and reveal the damage behavior and damage mechanism of rain *** results show that the degree of damage experienced an increasing trend with the increase of impact numbers and speed,until circular peel damage was formed;no damage occurred during the incubation period,and the curvature of the damage evolution curve increased significantly after the expansion period and eventually showed a stable expansion *** mechanical properties of the coating material were the main influencing factors of its rain corrosion ***,the axially symmetric unsteady contact problem of droplets impacting the surface of a solid deformable body was *** the contact area was determined based on the iterative algorithm boundary positioning method.A mathematical model and closed mathematical formula describing the unsteady interaction between a droplet and a solid deformable obstacle were proposed.

YOLO-Banana:An Effective Grading Method for Banana Appearance Quality

The increasing trend towards independent fruit packaging demands a high appearance quality of individually packed *** this paper,we propose an improved YOLOv5-based model,YOLO-Banana,to effectively grade banana appearance quality based on the number of banana defect *** to the minor and dense defects on the surface of bananas,existing detection algorithms have poor detection results and high missing *** address this,we propose a densitybased spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)and K-means fusion clustering method that utilizes refined anchor points to obtain better initial anchor values,thereby enhancing the network’s recognition ***,the optimized progressive aggregated network(PANet)enables better multi-level feature ***,the non-maximum suppression function is replaced with a weighted non-maximum suppression(weighted NMS)function based on distance intersection over union(DIoU).Experimental results show that the model’s accuracy is improved by 2.3%compared to the original YOLOv5 network model,thereby effectively grading the banana appearance quality.

Development of optical-thermal coupled model for phosphor-converted LEDs

In this review, first, we discussed the effect of phosphor features on optical properties by the software simulation in detail. A combination of these parameters: phosphor material, phosphor particle size and particle distribution, phosphor layer concentration, phosphor layer thickness, geometry, and location of the phosphor layer, will result in the final optical performance of the phosphor layer. Secondly, we introduced how to improve light extraction efficiency with various proposed methods. Thirdly, we summarized the thermal models to predict the phosphor temperature and the junction temperature. To stabilize the optical performance of phosphor-converted light emitting diodes (PC-LEDs), much effort has been made to reduce the junction temperature of the LED chips. The phosphor temperature, a critical reliability concern for PC-LEDs, should be attracted academic interest. Finally, we summed up optical-thermal coupled model for phosphors and summarized future optical- thermal issues exploring the light quality for LEDs. We foresee that optical-thermal coupled model for PC-LEDs should be paid more attention in the future.
