The long-period-stacking-ordered(LPSO)structure affects the mechanical,corrosion and hydrolysis properties of Mg *** current work employs high angle annular dark field-scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM)and atom probe tomography(APT)to investigate the structural and local chemical information of LPSO phases formed in Mg-Ni-Y/Sm ternary alloys after extended isothermal *** on the alloying elements and their concentrations,Mg-Ni-Y/Sm develops a two-phase LPSO+α-Mg structure in which the LPSO phase contains defects,hybrid LPSO structure,and Mg ***-STEM and APT indicate non-stoichiometric LPSO with incomplete Ni_(6)(Y/Sm)_(8) *** addition,the APT quantitatively determines the local composition of LPSO and confirms the presence of Ni within the Mg bonding *** results provide insight into a better understanding of the structure and hydrolysis properties of LPSO-Mg alloys.

Pore-pressure and stress-coupled creep behavior in deep coal:Insights from real-time NMR analysis

Understanding the variations in microscopic pore-fracture structures(MPFS) during coal creep under pore pressure and stress coupling is crucial for coal mining and effective gas treatment. In this manuscript, a triaxial creep test on deep coal at various pore pressures using a test system that combines in-situ mechanical loading with real-time nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) detection was ***-scale quantitative characterization, online real-time detection, and visualization of MPFS during coal creep influenced by pore pressure and stress coupling were performed using NMR and NMR imaging(NMRI) techniques. The results revealed that seepage pores and microfractures(SPM) undergo the most significant changes during coal creep, with creep failure gradually expanding from dense primary pore fractures. Pore pressure presence promotes MPFS development primarily by inhibiting SPM compression and encouraging adsorption pores(AP) to evolve into SPM. Coal enters the accelerated creep stage earlier at lower stress levels, resulting in more pronounced creep deformation. The connection between the micro and macro values was established, demonstrating that increased porosity at different pore pressures leads to a negative exponential decay of the viscosity coefficient. The Newton dashpot in the ideal viscoplastic body and the Burgers model was improved using NMR experimental results, and a creep model that considers pore pressure and stress coupling using variable-order fractional operators was developed. The model’s reasonableness was confirmed using creep experimental data. The damagestate adjustment factors ω and β were identified through a parameter sensitivity analysis to characterize the effect of pore pressure and stress coupling on the creep damage characteristics(size and degree of difficulty) of coal.

The basic structure and intraseasonal evolution of currents in the southeastern Andaman Sea was analyzed based on data collected in 2.17 from two subsurface moorings(C1 and C5).Periodic variation in the upper ocean currents of the Andaman Sea was investigated by combining observational and satellite *** observations show that rapid changes of current speed and direction occurred in May and June,with a significant increase in current velocity at the C1 *** the second half of the year,southward flow dominated at the C1 mooring,and alternating northward and southward flows were evident at the C5 mooring during the same period but the northward flow prevailed in boreal *** addition,analysis of the power spectra of the upper currents revealed that the tidal period at both moorings is primarily semidiurnal with weaker energy than that of the low-frequency *** upper ocean currents at the C1 and C5 moorings exhibited intraseasonal variation of 30-60 d and 12. d,while the zonal current at the C1 mooring exhibited a notable period of approximately 180 *** analysis indicated that the variability of currents in the Andaman Sea is influenced primarily by equatorial Kelvin waves and Rossby wave ***,our results suggest that equatorial Kelvin waves from the eastern Indian Ocean entered the Andaman Sea in the form of Wyrtki Jets and propagated primarily along two distinct pathways during the observation *** addition to coastal boundary Kelvin waves,it was found that a branch of the Wyrtki Jet that directly enters the Andaman Sea and flows northward along the slope of the continental shelf,and reflected Rossby wave packets by topography.

The development of passive NOxadsorbers with cost-benefit and high NOxstorage capacity remains an on-going challenge to after-treatment technologies at lower temperatures associated with cold-start ***,Cs1Mg3Al catalyst prepared by sol±gel method was cyclic tested in NOxstorage under 5 vol%*** 100°C,the NOxstorage capacity (12.9μmol g-1) was much higher than that of Pt/Ba O/Al2.3(610μmol g-1).This provided new insights for non-noble metal catalysts in low-temperature passive *** addition of Cs improved the mobility of oxygen species and thus improved the NOxstorage *** XRD,XPS,IR spectra and in situ DRIFTs with NH3probe showed an interaction between CsOxand AlOxsites via oxygen species formed on Cs1Mg3Al *** improved mobility of oxygen species inferred from O2.TPD was consistent with high NOxstorage capacity related to enhanced formation of nitrate and additional nitrite species by ***,the addition of Mg might improve the stability of Cs1Mg3Al by stabilizing surface active oxygen species in cyclic experiments.

In this work,C@Fe_(3)O_(4) composites were prepared through a typical template method with emulsified asphalt as carbon source,ammonium ferric citrate as transition metal oxide precursor,and NaCl as *** an anode for lithium-ion batteries,the optimized C@Fe_(3)O_(4)-1:2.composite exhibits an excellent reversible capacity of 856.6 mA·h·g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1A·g^(-1)and a high capacity of 531.1mA·h·g^(-1)after 300 cycles at 1 A·g^(-1),much better than those of bulk carbon/Fe_(3)O_(4) prepared without *** remarkable cycling performance mainly benefits from its well-designed structure:Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles generated from ammonium ferric citrate during pyrolysis are homogenously encapsulated in graphitized and in-plane porous carbon nanocages derived from petroleum *** carbon nanocages not only improve the conductivity of Fe_(3)O_(4),but also suppress the volume expansion of FesO4 effectively during the charge discharge cycle,thus delivering a robust electrochemical *** work realizes the high value-added utilization of low-cost petroleum asphalt,and can be extended to application of other transition-metal oxides-based anodes.

Gut microbes are closely related with human health,but remain much to *** symbiosum is a conditionally pathogenic human gut bacterium and regarded as a potential biomarker for early diagnosis of intestinal ***,the absence of an efficient toolbox that allows diverse genetic manipulations of this bacterium limits its in-depth ***,we obtained the complete genome sequence of *** ATCC 14940,a representative strain of *** this basis,we further developed a series of genetic manipulation methods for this ***,following the identification of a functional replicon pBP1 in *** ATCC 14940,a highly efficient conjugative DNA transfer method was established,enabling the rapid introduction of exogenous plasmids into ***,we constructed a dual-plasmid CRISPR/Cas12. system for genome editing in this bacterium,reaching over 60% repression for most of the chosen genes as well as efficient deletion(>90%)of three target ***,this toolbox was used for the identification of crucial functional genes,involving growth,synthesis of important metabolites,and virulence of *** ATCC *** work has effectively established and optimized genome editing methods in intestinal ***,thereby providing strong support for further basic and application research in this bacterium.

Background:Epicardial roof-dependent atrial tachycardia is rare among macroreentrant *** importance of epicardial structure or fiber involving septopulmonary bundle(SPB)has not been realized *** presentation:A 74-year-old woman who underwent catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation previously accepted a second-time radiofrequency ablation due to atrial *** mapping and entrainment results of the tachycardia tended to be an epicardial SPB-dependent macroreentrant atrial tachycardia and it was ablated to sinus rate at the first single targeting site,just located in the breakout site of SPB into the posterior wall(PW)of left atrial(LA).The twice-activation mapping of PW of LA also proved the presence of *** recurrent arrhythmia was seen at follow-up at 3 ***:In this case,an uncommon phenomenon was observed post-ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation,where the epicardial muscular structure of the LA-SPB was involved in atypical atrial *** should be considered as a potential factor in such *** similar cases may be required to improve diagnostic accuracy and to formulate effective ablation strategies for this type of tachycardia.

With the soaring generation of hazardous waste(HW)during industrialization and urbanization,HW illegal dumping continues to be an intractable global *** in developing regions with lax regulations,it has become a major source of soil and groundwater *** dominant challenge for HW illegal dumping supervision is the invisibility of dumping sites,which makes HW illegal dumping difficult to be found,thereby causing a long-term adverse impact on the *** to utilize the limited historic supervision records to screen the potential dumping sites in the whole region is a key challenge to be *** this study,a novel machine learning model based on the positive-unlabeled(PU)learning algorithm was proposed to resolve this problem through the ensemble method which could iteratively mine the features of limited historic *** of the random forest-based PU model showed that the predicted top 30%of high-risk areas could cover 68.1%of newly reported cases in the studied region,indicating the reliability of the model *** novel framework will also be promising in other environmental management scenarios to deal with numerous unknown samples based on limited prior experience.

Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a common inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal *** Chinese medicine(TCM)has long been used in Asia as a treatment for UC and Puerariae Radix(PR)is a reliable anti-diarrheal *** aims of this study were to investigate the protective effect of PR using the dextran sulfate sodium salt(DSS)-induced UC model in mice and identify molecular mechanisms of PR *** chemical constituents of PR via ultra-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry and identified potential PR and UC targets using a network pharmacology(NP)approach were obtained to guide mouse experiments.A total of 180 peaks were identified from PR including 48 flavonoids,46 organic acids,14 amino acids,8 phenols,8 carbohydrates,7 alkaloids,6 coumarins and 43 other *** results showed that caspase-1 was the most dysregulated of the core genes associated with UC.A PR dose of 0.136 mg/g administered to DSS treated mice reversed weight loss and decreased colon lengths found in UC *** also alleviated intestinal mucosal shedding,inflammatory cell infiltration and mucin *** treatment suppressed upregulation of NOD-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3),cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteases-1(caspase-1),apoptosis-associated speck-like(ASC)and gasdermin D(GSDMD)at both the protein and m RNA expression *** addition of a small molecule dual-specificity phosphatase inhibitor NSC 95397 inhibited the positive effects of *** results indicated that PR exerts a protective effect on DSS-induced colitis by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation in mice.
