A high-order full-discretization method （FDM） using Hermite interpolation （HFDM） is proposed and implemented for periodic systems with time delay. Both Lagrange interpolation and Hermite interpolation are used to approximate state values and delayed state values in each discretization step. The transition matrix over a single period is determined and used for stability analysis. The proposed method increases the approximation order of the semidiscretization method and the FDM without increasing the computational time. The convergence, precision, and efficiency of the proposed method are investigated using several Mathieu equations and a complex turning model as examples. Comparison shows that the proposed HFDM converges faster and uses less computational time than existing methods.

Polymethoxylated flavones(PMFs),the main form of flavones in citrus,are derived from the flavone branch of the flavonoid biosynthesis *** synthases(FNSs)are enzymes that catalyze the synthesis of flavones from ***,the FNS in citrus has not been characterized ***,we identified two type II FNSs,designated CitFNSII-1 and CitFNSII-2,based on phylogenetics and transcriptome *** recombinant CitFNSII-1 and CitFNSII-2 proteins directly converted naringenin,pinocembrin,and liquiritigenin to the corresponding flavones in *** addition,transient overexpression of CitFNSII-1 and CitFNSII-2,respectively,in citrus peel significantly enhanced the accumulation of total PMFs,while virus-induced CitFNSII-1 and CitFNSII-2 genes silencing simultaneously significantly reduced the expression levels of both genes and total PMF content in citrus ***-1 and CitFNSII-2 presented distinct expression patterns in different cultivars as well as different developmental *** salicylate(MeSA)treatment reduced the CitFNSII-2 expression as well as the PMFs content in the peel of Citrus sinensis fruit but did not affect the CitFNSII-1 *** results indicated that both CitFNSII-1 and CitFNSII-2 participated in the flavone biosynthesis in citrus while the regulatory mechanism governing their expression might be *** findings improved the understanding of the PMFs biosynthesis pathway in citrus and laid the foundation for further investigation on flavone synthesis regulation.

Geological analysis， despite being a long-term method for identifying adverse geology in tunnels， has significant limitations due to its reliance on empirical analysis. The quantitative aspects of geochemical anomalies associated with adverse geology provide a novel strategy for addressing these limitations. However， statistical methods for identifying geochemical anomalies are insufficient for tunnel engineering. In contrast， data mining techniques such as machine learning have demonstrated greater efficacy when applied to geological data. Herein， a method for identifying adverse geology using machine learning of geochemical anomalies is proposed. The method was identified geochemical anomalies in tunnel that were not identified by statistical methods. We by employing robust factor analysis and self-organizing maps to reduce the dimensionality of geochemical data and extract the anomaly elements combination (AEC). Using the AEC sample data， we trained an isolation forest model to identify the multi-element anomalies， successfully. We analyzed the adverse geological features based the multi-element anomalies. This study， therefore， extends the traditional approach of geological analysis in tunnels and demonstrates that machine learning is an effective tool for intelligent geological analysis. Correspondingly， the research offers new insights regarding the adverse geology and the prevention of hazards during the construction of tunnels and underground engineering projects.

Piezoelectric energy harvesters(PEHs)have attracted significant attention with the ability of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy and power the self-powered microelectronic ***,material's superior energy harvesting performance is closely related to its high transduction coefficient(d_(33)×g_(33)),which is dependent on higher piezoelectric coefficient d33 and lower dielectric constantεr of ***,the high d33 and lowεr are difficult to be simultaneously achieved in piezoelectric ***,lead zirconate titanate(PZT)based piezoelectric composites with vertically aligned microchannel structure are constructed by phase-inversion *** polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)and carbon nanotubes(CNTs)are mixed as fillers to fabricate PZT/PVDF&CNTs *** unique structure and uniformly distributed CNTs network enhance the polarization and thus improve the *** PVDF filler effectively reduce theε*** a consequence,the excellent piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33)=595 pC/N)and relatively low dielectric constant(ε_(r)=1,603)were obtained in PZT/PVDF&CNTs composites,which generated an ultra-high d_(33)×g_(33) of 24,942×10^(−15) m^(2)/***,the PZT/PVDF&CNTs piezoelectric composites achieve excellent energy harvesting performance(output voltage:66 V,short current:39.22μA,and power density:1.25μW/mm^(2)).Our strategy effectively boosts the performance of piezoelectric-polymer composites,which has certain guiding significance for design of energy harvesters.

Emulsion, obtained by cationic emulsifiers, allows much larger oil droplets with narrower particle distribution, slows down the contamination from iron fines to the oil droplets, and is further enhanced with higher boundary and elastohydrodynamic lubrication for a relatively slower rolling process but high rolling force. As a result,it is suitable for the cold rolling of stainless steel. Cationic emulsion is now applied in a 1 750 mm 5-stand tandem cold rolling mill of Baosteel to roll stainless steel and carbon steel. The production process is stable and the product quality satisfies customer requirements.

Dampness in dwellings and its associations with asthma and allergies among children in Chongqing: A cross-sectional study

The city of Chongqing has high outdoor temperatures and humidity throughout the year and consequently a high risk of dampness and mold problems in *** part of the China,Children,Homes,Health(CCHH),associations between home characteristics and children’s asthma,allergies,and related symptoms were investigated in Chongqing,China.A cross-sectional questionnaire survey on home characteristics including dampness and symptoms of asthma and allergies in 5299 children was *** for 4754 children(3–6 years)and their homes were *** showed that 35.1%of homes were reported to have"damp bedding",14.3%"condensation on window panes(higher than 5 cm)",11.6%"mouldy odor",9.3%"water leakage",8.3%"damp stains"and 5.3%"visible mould".Wheezing and rhinitis ever were reported for 27.0%and 51.1%children respectively,and rhinitis,wheezing,cough at night and eczema in the last 12 months were reported for 38.1%,20.5%,18.9%and 13.2%***-diagnosed asthma was reported for 8.3%of children,and doctor-diagnosed rhinitis for 6.2%.Dampness in homes was generally strongly associated with asthma and allergies among Chongqing *** strongest association was found between"visible mould"and doctor-diagnosed rhinitis,and the adjusted Odds Ratio(ORA)was 2.27(95%CI:1.48,3.49)."Damp bedding"was significantly associated with all asthma and allergic symptoms,but doctor-diagnosed asthma and *** behavior of"putting bedding to sunshine"could effectively reduce the prevalence of asthma and allergic symptoms,and the risk of bedding affected with damp was reduced significantly when bedding was put to sunshine frequently.
