In order to address the problems of the single encryption algorithm,such as low encryption efficiency and unreliable metadata for static data storage of big data platforms in the cloud computing environment,we propose a Hadoop based big data secure storage scheme.Firstly,in order to disperse the NameNode service from a single server to multiple servers,we combine HDFS federation and HDFS high-availability mechanisms,and use the Zookeeper distributed coordination mechanism to coordinate each node to achieve dual-channel storage.Then,we improve the ECC encryption algorithm for the encryption of ordinary data,and adopt a homomorphic encryption algorithm to encrypt data that needs to be calculated.To accelerate the encryption,we adopt the dualthread encryption mode.Finally,the HDFS control module is designed to combine the encryption algorithm with the storage model.Experimental results show that the proposed solution solves the problem of a single point of failure of metadata,performs well in terms of metadata reliability,and can realize the fault tolerance of the server.The improved encryption algorithm integrates the dual-channel storage mode,and the encryption storage efficiency improves by 27.6% on average.

Coordinated responses of leaf and nodule traits contribute to the accumulation of N in relay intercropped soybean

Maize(Zea mays L.)-soybean(Glycine max L.Merr.)relay intercropping provides a way to enhance land productivity.However,the late-planted soybean suffers from shading by the maize.After maize harvest,how the recovery growth influences the leaf and nodule traits remains unclear.A three-year field experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of genotypes,i.e.,supernodulating(nts1007),Nandou 12(ND12),and Guixia 3(GX3),and crop configurations,i.e.,the interspecific row spacing of 45(I45),60(I60),75 cm(I75),and sole soybean(SS),on soybean recovery growth and N fixation.The results showed that intercropping reduced the soybean total leaf area(LA)by reducing both the leaf number(LN)and unit leaflet area(LUA),and it reduced the nodule dry weight(NW)by reducing both the nodule number(NN)and nodule diameter(ND)compared with the SS.The correlation and principal component analysis(PCA)indicated a co-variability of the leaf and nodule traits in response to the genotype and crop configuration interactions.During the recovery growth stages,the compensatory growth promoted soybean growth to reduce the gaps of leaf and nodule traits between intercropping and SS.The relative growth rates of ureide(RGR_U)and nitrogen(RGR_N)accumulation were higher in intercropping than in SS.Intercropping achieved more significant sucrose and starch contents compared with SS.ND12 and GX3 showed more robust compensatory growth than nts1007 in intercropping.Although the recovery growth of relay intercropping soybean improved biomass and nitrogen accumulation,ND12 gained a more significant partial land equivalent ratio(pLER)than GX3.The I60 treatment achieved more robust compensation effects on biomass and N accumulation than the other configurations.Meanwhile,I60 showed a higher nodule sucrose content and greater shoot ureide and N accumulation than SS.Finally,intercropping ND12 with maize using an interspecific row spacing of 60 cm was optimal for both yield advantage and N accumulation.

According to the boot process of modern computer systems,whoever boots first will gain control first.Taking advantage of this feature,a malicious code called bootkit can hijack the control before the OS bootloader and bypass security mechanisms in boot process.That makes bootkits difficult to detect or clean up thoroughly.With the improvement of security mechanisms and the emergence of UEFI,the attack and defense techniques for bootkits have constantly been evolving.We first introduce two boot modes of modern computer systems and present an attack model of bootkits by some sophistical samples.Then we discuss some classic attack techniques used by bootkits from their initial appearance to the present on two axes,including boot mode axis and attack phase axis.Next,we evaluate the race to the bottom of the system and the evolution process between bootkits and security mechanisms.At last,we present the possible future direction for bootkits in the context of continuous improvement of OS and firmware security mechanisms.

Background:Hypoplastic left heart syndrome(HLHS)is one of the most challenging congenital heart diseases in clinical treatment.In cardiac tissues,resident macrophages fulfill critical functions in maintaining a stable cardiac state and have strong regenerative capacity and organ specificity.However,the molecular mechanisms of macro-phages in HLHS remained unclear.Methods:Single-nucleus RNA sequencing(snRNA-seq)data of HLHS and healthy control(donors)samples obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database were normalized and clustered using the Seurat package.The“FindMarkers”function was used to screen differentially expressed genes(DEGs)between the HLHS and donor groups and to analyze the functional enrichment of the set of genes of interest.Finally,cell-cell communication,pseudotime,and single-cell regulatory network inference and cluster-ing(SCENIC)analyses were used to study the mechanisms of macrophages in HLHS.Results:Based on the snRNA-seq data of HLHS and donors,we identified a total of 9 cell clusters,among which the proportion of macrophages was significantly less in the HLHS group than in the control group.Subdivision of macrophage subpopulations(Macrophages 1,2,and 3)showed that Macrophages 1 was mainly involved in nervous system development,angiogenesis,and apoptotic processes.In addition,analysis of communication between Macro-phages 1 and cardiomyocytes revealed that ligand-acceptor pairs such as GAS6/AXL,IL6,IGF1,THY1,and L1CAM were present only in the donor group.Finally,pesudotime and SCENIC analyses demonstrated that FOXO3 and ELF2 played a critical role for Macrophages 1 to maintain cardiac function in patients with HLHS.Conclusion:Our study improved the current understanding of the molecular mechanisms of macrophage devel-opment in HLHS,showing that manipulating the regulatory role of macrophages in the heart can be a novel treat-ment for HLHS.

Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)has aggressive characteristics as exemplified by the high risk of recurrence,metastasis,and patient mortality.1 Cytotoxic chemotherapy may reduce tumor burden initially,but leave behind chemo-resistant breast cancer stem cells(BCSCs)that lead to tumor recurrence and metastasis.2 Chemotherapy induces BCsC enrichment through the activation of glutathione biosynthesis pathways,which increases intracellular glutathione levels and specifies the BCSC phenotype through complicated downstream signaling pathways.3 Glutathione S-transferases(GSTs),a superfamily(which contains seven cytosolic classes:Alpha,Kappa,Mu,Omega,Pi,Theta,and Zeta,and one microsomal class MGSTs)of phase Il enzymes that catalyze the conjugation of glutathione with electrophilic compounds,play a critical role in detoxification and chemotherapy resistance of cancer cells.However,the role of GSTs in the regulation of BCSCs is largely elusive.

Kagome metals exhibit rich quantum states by the intertwining of lattice, charge, orbital and spin degrees of freedom. Recently, a novel charge density wave （CDW） ground state was discovered in kagome magnet FeGe and was revealed to be driven by lowering magnetic energy via large Ge1-dimerization. Here, based on DFTcalculations, we show that such mechanism will yield infinitely many metastable CDWs in FeGe due to different ways to arrange the Ge1-dimerization in enlarged superstructures.Intriguingly, utilizing these metastable CDWs, innumerable polymorphs of kagome magnet LiFe6Ge6can be stabilized by filling Li atoms in the voids right above/below the dimerized Ge1-sites in the CDW superstructures. Such polymorphs are very stable due to the presence of magnetic-energy-saving mechanism, in sharp contrast to the non-magnetic “166” kagome compounds. In this way, a one-to-one mapping of the metastable CDWs of FeGe to stable polymorphs of LiFe6Ge6is established. On one hand,the fingerprints of these metastable CDWs, i.e., the induced in-plane atomic distortions and band gaps, are encoded into the corresponding stable polymorphs of LiFe6Ge6, such that further study of their properties becomes possible. On the other hand,such innumerable polymorphs of LiFe6Ge6offer great degrees of freedom to explore the rich physics of magnetic kagome metals.We thus reveal a novel connection between the unusually abundant CDWs and structural polymorphism in magnetic kagome materials, and establish a new route to obtain structural polymorphism on top of CDW states.

In order to decipher element mobility in UHP meta-sedimentary rocks in the continental subduction zone,major and trace element compositions are investigated for a continuous profile from a representative UHP region in the Dabie Mountains.Among the lithologic contact zone,contents of K,Ca,LREE,and LILE exhibit varying degrees of downward trends in both marble and eclogite toward the contact zone,indicating that marble and their associated eclogite can release a large amount of K,Ca,and a small number of LILEs and LREEs.Titanite is the main Ti phase in both marble and eclogite.Titanite rims around rutile can occasionally be seen in eclogite.Contents of Ti and HFSE exhibit a well-coupled relation among marble and eclogite,indicating that substantial Ti and HFSEs were migrated from eclogite to marble,in accord with the capacity of a melt medium.Rutiles and titanites in marble exhibit a relatively limited variation in Nb/Ta ratios(12.9-16.2),similar to those of titanites in eclogite(14.2-16.7),which demonstrates that rutiles and titanites in marble were sourced from eclogite because of short-distance migrations of Ti and HFSEs.According to the P-T path and the temperature and pressure conditions of the peak metamorphism reported by previous studies,the eclogite associated with marble may not form supercritical fluids in the subduction zone because of the addition of carbonate minerals.

Creep constitutive model considering nonlinear creep degradation of fractured rock

Stability analysis of underground constructions requires a model study of rock masses’ long-term performance. Creep tests under different stress conditions was conducted on intact granite and granite samples fractured at 30° and 45° angles. The experimental results indicate that the steady creep strain rates of intact and fractured rock present an exponential increase trend with the increase of stress level. A nonlinear creep model is developed based on the experimental results, in which the initial damage caused by fracture together with the damage caused by constant load have been taken into consideration. The fitting analysis results indicated that the model proposed is more accurate at identifying the full creep regions in fractured granite, especially the accelerated stage of creep deformation. The least-square fit error of the proposed creep model is significantly lower than that of Nishihara model by almost an order of magnitude. An analysis of the effects of elastic modulus, viscosity coefficient, and damage factors on fractured rock strain rate and creep strain is conducted. If no consideration is given to the effects of the damage, the proposed nonlinear creep model can degenerate into to the classical Nishihara model.

Myiasis is a disease caused by the invasion and colonization of human tissues and organs by the larvae of flies.This is manifested by the formation of necrotic tissue in the lesion,the colonization of fly eggs and the spread of fly larvae.This disease is mostly found in areas with poor sanitary conditions.Poor wound care,necrotic tissue formation,reduced immunity,and frequent contact with flies are risk factors for this disease.Myiasis can be divided into obligate and facultative parasitism,^([1])while some scholars have classified myiasis according to its location.^([2])In addition,some cases of myiasis are secondary to wound infection or poor surgical maintenance.^([3,4]).
