The ocean,with its highly variable and complex meteorological conditions,harbors enormous renewable resources.Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs),which possess unique advantages,show exciting prospects in water wave energy collection.How to design and optimize TENGs to cover all characteristic water wave energies and achieve efficient energy utilization is emergent.In this paper,we carefully designed and fabricated a columnar multi-layer sliding TENG(CMLS-TENG)that can harvest water wave energy independent of wave height and direction.Drive rods with a hollow acrylic spherical shell were introduced to deliver wave energy,ensuring that the CMLS-TENG can work in all directions from 0°to 360°.Based on the sliding structure,switching the optimized CMLS-TENG is independent of wave heights.The optimized CMLS-TENG can achieve a total power density of 730 mW/m^(3) at a wave height of only 4.8 cm regardless of wave direction,which can illuminate multiple light-emitting diodes(LEDs)to provide lighting and provide power to a watch and a hygrometer for temperature and humidity monitoring.This work provides new choices and hopes for the effective collection of full-range water wave energy.

Over the past decade, graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)) has emerged as a universal photocatalyst toward various sustainable carbo-neutral technologies. Despite solar applications discrepancy, g-C_(3)N_(4) is still confronted with a general fatal issue of insufficient supply of thermodynamically active photocarriers due to its inferior solar harvesting ability and sluggish charge transfer dynamics. Fortunately, this could be significantly alleviated by the “all-in-one” defect engineering strategy, which enables a simultaneous amelioration of both textural uniqueness and intrinsic electronic band structures. To this end, we have summarized an unprecedently comprehensive discussion on defect controls including the vacancy/non-metallic dopant creation with optimized electronic band structure and electronic density, metallic doping with ultraactive coordinated environment(M–N_(x), M–C_(2)N_(2), M–O bonding), functional group grafting with optimized band structure, and promoted crystallinity with extended conjugation π system with weakened interlayered van der Waals interaction. Among them, the defect states induced by various defect types such as N vacancy, P/S/halogen dopants, and cyano group in boosting solar harvesting and accelerating photocarrier transfer have also been emphasized. More importantly, the shallow defect traps identified by femtosecond transient absorption spectra(fs-TAS) have also been highlighted. It is believed that this review would pave the way for future readers with a unique insight into a more precise defective g-C_(3)N_(4) “customization”, motivating more profound thinking and flourishing research outputs on g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysis.

Argatroban is a synthetic thrombin inhibitor approved by U.S.Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of thrombosis.However,whether it plays a role in the repair of spinal cord injury is unknown.In this study,we established a rat model of T10 moderate spinal cord injury using an NYU Impactor ModerⅢand performed intraperitoneal injection of argatroban for 3 consecutive days.Our results showed that argatroban effectively promoted neurological function recovery after spinal cord injury and decreased thrombin expression and activity in the local injured spinal cord.RNA sequencing transcriptomic analysis revealed that the differentially expressed genes in the argatroban-treated group were enriched in the JAK2/STAT3 pathway,which is involved in astrogliosis and glial scar formation.Western blotting and immunofluorescence results showed that argatroban downregulated the expression of the thrombin receptor PAR1 in the injured spinal cord and the JAK2/STAT3 signal pathway.Argatroban also inhibited the activation and proliferation of astrocytes and reduced glial scar formation in the spinal cord.Taken together,these findings suggest that argatroban may inhibit astrogliosis by inhibiting the thrombin-mediated PAR1/JAK2/STAT3 signal pathway,thereby promoting the recovery of neurological function after spinal cord injury.

BACKGROUND Human cystic echinococcosis(CE)is a life-threatening zoonosis caused by the Echinococcus granulosus(sensu lato).Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality in the world.The coexistence of CE and HCC is exceedingly rare,and only several well-documented cases have been reported.In addition to this coexistence,there is no report of the coexistence of CE,HCC,and liver abscess to date.Herein,we aimed to report a case of coexistence of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and HCC.CASE SUMMARY A 65-year-old herdsman presented to the department of interventional therapy with jaundice,right upper abdominal distension and pain for 10 d.Laboratory test showed that he had positive results for HBsAg,HBeAb,HBcAb,and echino-coccosis IgG antibody.The test also showed an increased level of alpha fetopro-tein of 3400 ng/mL.An abdominal computed tomography(CT)scan revealed an uneven enhanced lesion of the liver at the arterial phase with enhancement and was located S4/8 segment of the liver.In addition,CT scan also revealed a mass in the S6 segment of the liver with a thick calcified wall and according to current guideline and medical images,the diagnoses of hepatic CE(CE4 subtype)and HCC were established.Initially,transarterial chemoembolization was performed for HCC.In the follow-up,liver abscess occurred in addition to CE and HCC;thus,percutaneous liver puncture drainage was performed.In the next follow-up,CE and HCC were stable.The liver abscess was completely resolved,and the patient was discharged with no evidence of recurrence.CONCLUSION This is the first reported case on the coexistence of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and HCC.Individualized treatment and multidisciplinary discussions should be performed in this setting.Therefore,treatment and diagnosis should be based on the characteristics of liver abscess,hepatic CE,and HCC,and in future clinical work,it is necessary to be aware of the possibility of this complex composition of liver diseases.

Heterojunction interface editing in Co/NiCoP nanospheres by oxygen atoms decoration for synergistic accelerating hydrogen and oxygen evolution electrocatalysis

Controllable designing of well-defined heterojunction nanostructures provides an insightful strategy for accelerating the kinetics of the hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions(HER/OER),but such task is still challenging.Herein,we proposed a protocol of heterojunction interface editing(HIE)strategy by oxygen atoms decoration for synergistic boosting electrocatalytic HER and OER performances.A novel Co/NiCoP nanospheres(NSs)heterojunction was synthesized by crystal seed template transformation method with Ni_(5)P_(4) microspheres as seeds.The effective oxygen atoms interface editing increased the oxidation state of Co atoms and prolonged the Co-P bond length of Co/NiCoP NSs heterojunction,thus the electron localization on P sites was enhanced,leading to the dramatically elevated HER and OER performances simultaneously.The as-constructed O-Co/NiCoP NSs show excellent electrocatalytic activity with 361 and 430 mV vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)to arrive high current density of 300 mA·cm^(-2)for HER and OER in 1 M KOH as well as good stability.The proposed HIE concept could provide a new perspective on the catalyst design for energy conversion systems.

目的探讨甘露特钠对实验性自身免疫性脑脊髓炎(EAE)小鼠发病的治疗作用及对肠道菌群、小胶质细胞极化的影响。方法将50只雌性C57BL/6小鼠用随机数字表法分为对照组、EAE模型组及甘露特钠低、中、高剂量组,每组各10只。EAE模型组、甘露特钠各剂量组采用MOG35-55多肽皮下多点注射制备EAE模型。甘露特钠低、中、高剂量组从造模次日起分别用甘露特钠40、80、160 mg/kg,2次/d,灌胃进行干预,持续至小鼠处死。观察各组小鼠发病情况、脊髓组织炎症细胞浸润及脱髓鞘情况。收集小鼠粪便,通过16S rRNA测序进行肠道菌群检测,免疫荧光染色检测脊髓组织中小胶质细胞激活指标Iba-1蛋白表达情况,Western印迹法和免疫荧光染色法检测脊髓组织中小胶质细胞M1型标志物iNOS、CD16和M2型标志物Arg1、CD206的蛋白表达水平。结果对照组小鼠均未发病,其余各组小鼠均有不同程度发病,表现为尾部下垂、步态不稳、后肢无力等。与EAE模型组比较,甘露特钠各剂量组小鼠发病潜伏期延长、高峰期延迟、高峰期神经功能障碍评分降低[(3.6±0.6)分比(3.0±0.6)分、(2.8±0.5)分、(1.8±0.6)分,均P<0.05],且干预剂量越大症状越轻,组间两两比较差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。对照组小鼠脊髓组织无炎性细胞浸润及脱髓鞘变化;EAE模型组发病高峰期脊髓组织炎性细胞浸润及脱髓鞘变化明显;与EAE模型组比较,甘露特钠各剂量组发病高峰期脊髓组织炎症细胞浸润及脱髓鞘变化减轻。与对照组比较,EAE模型组拟杆菌门相对丰度较低,厚壁菌门相对丰度较高;与EAE模型组比较,甘露特钠各剂量组拟杆菌门相对丰度较高,厚壁菌门相对丰度较低,拟杆菌门与厚壁菌门比值增加(0.20±0.05比0.37±0.02、0.61±0.03、0.91±0.08,均P<0.01),且干预剂量越大变化越明显,组间两两比较差异均有统计学意义(P<0.01)。与对照组比较,EAE模型组Iba-1、CD16、iNOS水平增加,Arg-1、CD206水平降低;与EAE模型组比较,甘露特钠各剂量组Iba-1、CD16、iNOS水平降低,Arg-1、CD206水平增加(均P<0.01),且剂量越大变化越明显,组间两两比较各指标差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.01)。结论甘露特钠对EAE具有治疗作用,且呈剂量依赖性;其作用机制可能与改善肠道微生态、调控小胶质细胞极化有关。

Food allergy (FA) is an aberrant immune response triggered by the ingestion of a food antigen. Ovalbumin (OVA)-sensitized and challenged BALB/c mice were orally administered heat-killed (HK)-L. paracasei JY56. In this work， HK-L. paracasei JY56 alleviated the FA-induced decrease in body weight and rectal temperature and reduced the allergy score. Serum analysis showed that HK-L. paracasei JY56 reduced the levels of specific antibodies (OVA-sIgE and OVA-sIgG) and allergic mediators (histamine and mast cell protease) in FA mice. In addition， HK-L. paracasei JY56 also could alleviate OVA-induced FA by suppressing Th2 and Th17-type immune responses， which was evidenced by the regulation of splenic lymphocyte subpopulations and associated cytokine secretion. Moreover， jejunal histological analysis and intestinal barrier function related gene expression measurement were performed to verify the intestinal barrier repair of HK-L. paracasei JY56. Meanwhile， the TLR4/NF-κB inflammatory pathway activation was inhibited by HK-L. paracasei JY56 at gene and protein levels. Finally， HK-L. paracasei JY56 was performed to modulate the gut microbiota structure and increase the levels of short-chain fatty acids. In conclusion， HK-L. paracasei JY56 could alleviate OVA-induced FA in multiple ways， and this study provides a theoretical basis for the application of inactivated probiotics in functional foods for FA.

Sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench)is a world cereal crop used in China for producing Baijiu,a distilled spirit.We report a telomere-to-telomere genome assembly of the Baijiu cultivar Hongyingzi,HYZ-T2T,using ultralong reads.The 10 chromosome pairs contained 33,462 genes,of which 93%were functionally annotated.The 20 telomeres and 10 centromeric regions on the HYZ-T2T chromosomes were predicted and two consecutive large inversions on chromosome 2 were characterized.A 65-gene reconstruction of the metabolic pathway of tannins,the flavor substances in Baijiu,was performed and may advance the breeding of sorghum cultivars for Baijiu production.
