Cell walls in plants,particularly forest trees,are the major carbon sink of the terrestrial *** and biosynthetic features of plant cell walls were revealed early on,focusing mostly on herbaceous model *** developments in genomics,transcriptomics,epigenomics,transgenesis,and associated analytical techniques are enabling novel insights into formation of woody cell ***,we review multilevel regulation of cell wall biosynthesis in forest tree *** highlight current approaches to engineering cell walls as potential feedstock for materials and energy and survey reported field tests of such engineered transgenic *** outline opportunities and challenges in future research to better understand cell type biogenesis for more efficient wood cell wall modification and utilization for biomaterials or for enhanced carbon capture and storage.

Rice is a model organism for studying the mechanism of cell wall biosynthesis and remolding in Gramineae. Mechanical strength is an important agronomy trait of rice （Oryza sativa L.） plants that affects crop lodging and grain yield. As a prominent physical property of cell walls, mechanical strength reflects upon the structure of different wall polymers and how they interact. Studies on the mechanisms that regulate the mechanical strength therefore consequently results in uncovering the genes functioning in cell wall biosynthesis and remodeling. Our group focuses on the study of isolation of brittle culm （bc） mutants and characterization of their corresponding genes. To date, several bc mutants have been reported. The identified genes have covered several pathways of cell wall biosynthesis, revealing many secrets of monocot cell wall biosynthesis. Here, we review the progress achieved in this research field and also highlight the perspectives in expectancy. All of those lend new insights into mechanisms of cell wall formation and are helpful for harnessing the waste rice straws for biofuel production.

量子漫步算法能模拟游走粒子在图上的量子相干演化,粒子的运动状态由量子态的相干叠加而成.与经典随机游走算法相比,量子漫步算法具有寻找目标节点时间少和源节点扩散至其他节点时间少的优点.提出一种基于离散时间量子漫步的链路预测(link predictionbased on discrete time quantum walk,简称LP-DTQW)算法.研究结果表明:相对于其他7种算法,LP-DTQW算法有更高的预测精度;LP-DTQW算法的时间复杂度远低于经典RWR(random walk with restart)链路预测算法的时间复杂度.因此,LP-DTQW算法具有更强的预测性能.

The plant cell wall is composed of multiple biopolymers, representing one of the most complex structural networks in nature. Hundreds of genes are involved in building such a natural masterpiece. However, the plant cell wall is the least understood cellular structure in plants. Due to great progress in plant functional genomics,manyachievementshavebeenmadein uncovering cell wall biosynthesis, assembly, and architecture, as well as cell wall regulation and signaling. Such information has significantly advanced our understanding of the roles of the cell wall in many biological and physiological processes and has enhanced our utilization of cell wall materials. The use of cutting-edge technologies such as single-molecule imaging,nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy has provided much insight into the plant cell wall as an intricate nanoscale network, opening up unprecedented possibilities for cell wall research. In this review,we summarize the major advances made in understanding the cell wall in this era of functional genomics, including the latest findings on the biosynthesis, construction, and functions of the cell wall.

Quantum channel noise may cause the user to obtain a wrong answer and thus misunderstand the database holder for existing QKD-based quantum private query(QPQ) protocols. In addition, an outside attacker may conceal his attack by exploiting the channel noise. We propose a new, robust QPQ protocol based on four-qubit decoherence-free(DF) states. In contrast to existing QPQ protocols against channel noise, only an alternative fixed sequence of single-qubit measurements is needed by the user(Alice) to measure the received DF states. This property makes it easy to implement the proposed protocol by exploiting current technologies. Moreover, to retain the advantage of flexible database queries, we reconstruct Alice's measurement operators so that Alice needs only conditioned sequences of single-qubit measurements.

目的针对蜂蜜、糖浆、酸奶等黏稠液体易粘黏在包装容器上造成的食物浪费等问题,通过改变材料表面的物理和化学性质等防黏附技术,有效减少或消除材料间的黏附现象,提高食品包装效率和质量。方法首先简述食品黏附的危害,接着从润湿原理入手详细介绍了液体与多尺度结构表面接触时的Wenzel模型、Cassie-Baxter模型和液体灌注型多孔超滑表面(SLIPS)等新技术,同时指出较低的表面能和一定的表面粗糙度是影响防黏附性能的2个关键因素,随后综述近年来防黏附技术在塑料、纸和金属等不同类型食品包装中的应用进展,并分析防黏附技术应用于食品包装的安全性问题,最后,对防黏附技术存在的问题和发展趋势进行总结。结论随着科技的不断进步和新型防黏附技术的出现,它在食品包装领域的应用也会更加广泛,并将朝着环保、可降解和智能化的方向发展。

Synthesis and Enhanced Electrochemical Activity of Ag-Pt Bimetallic Nanoparticles Decorated MWCNTs/PANI Nanocomposites

Ag-Pt bimetallic nanoparticles decorated on MWCNTs/PANI nanocomposites have been synthesized by in-situ chemical oxidative polymerization and chemical co-reduction method. The Fourier transform infrared（FT-IR） spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, ultraviolet-visible（UV-vis） absorption spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy（SEM） and transmission electron microscopy（TEM） were used to characterize the morphology and structure of the nanocomposites. It can be observed that the PANI was uniformly grown along the MWCNTs to form MWCNsT/PANI fiber-like nanocomposites with diameter about 60 nm, and the Ag-Pt binary nanoparticles were decorated onto MWCNTs/PANI with particle sizes around 6.8 nm. Cyclic voltammetry（CV） and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） were used to characterize the electrochemical performance of the prepared electrode. The results demonstrated that the obtained MWCNTs/PANI/Ag-Pt electrode displayed a good electrochemical activity and fast electron transport, which has potential applications in biosensors and supercapacitors.

An Android Malware Detection System Based on Feature Fusion

In order to improve the detection efficiency of Android malicious application, an Android malware detection system based on feature fusion is proposed on three levels. Feature fusion especially emphasizes on ten categories, which combines static and dynamic features and includes 377 features for classification. In order to improve the accuracy of malware detection, attribute subset selection and principle component analysis are used to reduce the dimensionality of fusion features. Random forest is used for classification. In the experiment, the dataset includes 43,822 benign applications and 8,454 malicious applications. The method can achieve 99.4% detection accuracy and 0.6% false positive rate. The experimental results show that the detection method can improve the malware detection efficiency in Android platform.

A Restricted Quantum Deniable Authentication Protocol Based on GHZ States

Utilizing the property of unitary transformation and Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger(GHZ) states,a restricted quantum deniable authentication protocol is proposed. The protocol can provide that the sender can deny the content of the sent message, but cannot deny taking part in a certain communication. Security analysis results show that this protocol can satisfy known key security and the basic security requirements of restricted deniable authentication protocol such as completeness, restricted deniability, no-counterfeiting and can withstand impersonation attack, intercept-resend attack.
