This paper introduces a self-sensing anthropomorphic robot hand driven by Twisted String Actuators(TSAs).The use of TSAs provides several advantages such as muscle-like structures,high transmission ratios,large output forces,high efficiency,compactness,inherent compliance,and the ability to transmit power over ***,conventional sensors used in TSA-actuated robotic hands increase stiffness,mass,volume,and complexity,making feedback control *** address this issue,a novel self-sensing approach is proposed using strain-sensing string based on Conductive Polymer Composite(CPC).By measuring the resistance changes in the strain-sensing string,the bending angle of the robot hand's fingers can be estimated,enabling closed-loop control without external *** developed self-sensing anthropomorphic robot hand comprises a 3D-printed structure with five fingers,a palm,five self-sensing TSAs,and a 3D-printed *** studies validate the self-sensing properties of the TSA and the anthropomorphic robot ***,a real-time Virtual Reality(VR)monitoring system is implemented for visualizing and monitoring the robot hand's movements using its self-sensing *** research contributes valuable insights and advancements to the field of intelligent prosthetics and robotic end grippers.

锭帽式假捻装置在环锭纺上的应用效果研究

为降低低捻纱的断头率,提高低捻纱的成纱质量,设计了可直接安装在细纱管上的锭帽式假捻装置。采用不同直径和不同表面结构的锭帽式假捻装置分别纺制24.4 tex低捻羊毛单纱,测试其断裂强度、断裂伸长率和毛羽数,并与常规环锭纺低捻纱进行... 详细信息

为降低低捻纱的断头率,提高低捻纱的成纱质量,设计了可直接安装在细纱管上的锭帽式假捻装置。采用不同直径和不同表面结构的锭帽式假捻装置分别纺制24.4 tex低捻羊毛单纱,测试其断裂强度、断裂伸长率和毛羽数,并与常规环锭纺低捻纱进行对比。结果表明:采用锭帽式假捻装置纺出纱较相同捻度常规纱的断裂强度提高10%左右,断裂伸长率提高30%左右,断裂功提高30%左右,长毛羽(4 mm~9 mm)数降低8%左右;总体而言,光滑锭帽比凸条锭帽对成纱质量的改善效果更好;锭帽假捻装置的直径对上述指标也有影响,凸条锭帽的直径为48 mm、52 mm和54 mm时,假捻效果较好;光滑锭帽的直径为44 mm、56 mm和58 mm时,假捻效果较好。认为:所设计的锭帽式假捻装置结构简单、安装方便、无能源消耗,可有效提高环锭纺羊毛低捻纱的成纱质量,具有很好的应用价值。

Rapid Phase Ambiguity Elimination Methods for DOA Estimator via Hybrid Massive MIMO Receive Array

For a sub-connected hybrid multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) receiver with K subarrays and N antennas, there exists a challenging problem of how to rapidly remove phase ambiguity in only single time-slot. A direction of arrival(DOA) estimator of maximizing received power(Max-RP) is proposed to find the maximum value of K-subarray output powers, where each subarray is in charge of one sector, and the center angle of the sector corresponding to the maximum output is the estimated true DOA. To make an enhancement on precision, Max-RP plus quadratic interpolation(Max-RP-QI) method is designed. In the proposed Max-RP-QI, a quadratic interpolation scheme is adopted to interpolate the three DOA values corresponding to the largest three receive powers of *** achieve the Cramer Rao lower bound, a Root-MUSIC plus Max-RP-QI scheme is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed three methods eliminate the phase ambiguity during one time-slot and also show low computational complexities. The proposed Root-MUSIC plus Max-RP-QI scheme can reach the Cramer Rao lower bound,and the proposed Max-RP and Max-RP-QI are still some performance losses 2–4 d B compared to the Cramer Rao lower bound.

High qualityβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)single crystal nanobelts with length of 2−3 mm and width from tens of microns to 132μm were synthesized by carbothermal reduction *** on the grown nanobelt with the length of 600μm,the dual-Schottky-junctions coupling device(DSCD)was *** to the electrically floating Ga_(2)O_(3)nanobelt region coupling with the double Schottky-junctions,the current I_(S2)increases firstly and rapidly reaches into saturation as increase the voltage V_(S2).The saturation current is about 10 pA,which is two orders of magnitude lower than that of a single *** the case of solar-blind ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation,the photogenerated electrons further aggravate the coupling physical mechanism in device.I_(S2)increases as the intensity of UV light *** the UV light of 1820μW/cm^(2),I_(S2)quickly enters the saturation *** V_(S2)=10 V,photo-to-dark current ratio(PDCR)of the device reaches more than 104,the external quantum efficiency(EQE)is 1.6×10^(3)%,and the detectivity(D*)is 7.5×10^(12)*** addition,the device has a very short rise and decay times of 25−54 ms under different positive and negative *** shows unique electrical and optical control characteristics,which will open a new way for the application of nanobelt-based devices.

Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NCT) in mid-low locally advanced rectal cancer with negative mesorectal fascia(MRF).Methods: This prospective, single-arm phase Ⅱ trial was designed and conducted at Peking University Cancer Hospital. The patients who provided consent received 3 months of NCT(capecitabine and oxaliplatin, CapOX)followed by total mesorectal excision(TME). The primary endpoint was the rate of pathological complete response(pCR).Results: From January 2019 through December 2021, a total of 53 patients were enrolled, 7.5% of whom experienced grade 3-4 adverse events during NCT. The pCR rate was 17.0% for the entire cohort, and the overall rate of postoperative complications was 37.7%(1.9% of grade Ⅲa patients). The 3-year disease-free survival rate was 91.4%, and 23.5%(12/51) of the patients suffered from major low anterior resection syndrome(LARS).Postoperative complications were independently associated with major ***: For patients with mid-low rectal cancer with negative MRF, 3 months of NCT were found to yield a favorable tumor response with acceptable toxicity. With fair long-term survival, the NCT regimen could be associated with low rates of perioperative complications as well as acceptable anal function.

The cytokine granulocyte-macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) possesses the capacity to differentiate monocytes into macrophages (MØs) with opposing functions, namely, proinflammatory M1-like MØs and immunosuppressive M2-like MØs. Despite the importance of these opposing biological outcomes, the intrinsic mechanism that regulates the functional polarization of MØs under GM-CSF signaling remains elusive. Here, we showed that GM-CSF-induced MØ polarization resulted in the expression of cytokine-inducible SH2-containing protein (CIS) and that CIS deficiency skewed the differentiation of monocytes toward immunosuppressive M2-like MØs. CIS deficiency resulted in hyperactivation of the JAK-STAT5 signaling pathway, consequently promoting downregulation of the transcription factor Interferon Regulatory Factor 8 (IRF8). Loss- and gain-of-function approaches highlighted IRF8 as a critical regulator of the M1-like polarization program. In vivo, CIS deficiency induced the differentiation of M2-like macrophages, which promoted strong Th2 immune responses characterized by the development of severe experimental asthma. Collectively, our results reveal a CIS-modulated mechanism that clarifies the opposing actions of GM-CSF in MØ differentiation and uncovers the role of GM-CSF in controlling allergic inflammation.
