Remarkable enhancement of gas selectivity on organosilica hybrid membranes using urea-modulated metal-organic framework nanoparticles

Metal-organic framework/organosilica hybrid membranes on tubular ceramic substrates have shown great potential for the implementation of membrane technology in practical gas separation projects due to their higher permeance compared to commercial polymers.However,the selectivities of the reported membranes are moderate.Here,we have incorporated urea-modulated metal-organic frameworks into organosilica membranes to greatly enhance its separation performance.The urea-modulated metal-organic frameworks exhibit less-defined edges of crystallographic facets and high defect density.They can be well-dispersed in the organosilica layer,which substantially suppresses the interfacial defects between metal-organic frameworks and organosilica,which is beneficial for improving the selectivity of membranes for gas separation.The results have shown that the enhanced ideal selectivity of H_(2)/CH_(4) was 165 and that of CO_(2)/CH_(4) was 43,with H_(2) permeance of about 1.25×10^(−6) mol·m^(−2)·s^(−1)·Pa^(−1) and CO_(2) permeance of 3.27×10^(−7) mol·m^(−2)·s^(−1)·Pa^(−1) at 0.2 MPa and 25℃.In conclusion,the high level of hybrid membranes can be used to separate H_(2)(or CO_(2))from the binary gas mixture H_(2)/CH_(4)(or CO_(2)/CH_(4)),which is important for gas separation in practical applications.Moreover,the simple and feasible modulation of metal-organic framework is a promising strategy to tune different metal-organic frameworks for membranes according to the actual demands.

Cancer is a predominant culprit behind worldwide death and accounts for up to 10 million deaths every year.Chemotherapy is the primary therapeutic method employed for cancer in clinical settings and is essential in controlling tumor progression.Despite the advances in this field,tumor invasion and metastasis during treatment remain a significant cause of treatment failure.Nevertheless,the underlying mechanisms involving such a disappointing phenomenon are still not fully elucidated.Vinorelbine(VNB)extends the lifespan of many cancer patients in the clinic as an emerging chemotherapy drug approved by Food and Drug Administration(FDA).However,VNB-induced tumor metastasis is still an intractable problem,which may be closely related to the abnormal oxidative stress generated during VNB-mediated treatment.Hence,the study aims to construct a reductive nanosystem loaded with VNB,called VNB-VNP,to improve cancer cure rates and reduce tumor metastasis.With the reductive component vitamin E,VNB-VNP can effectively reduce oxidative stress and significantly outperform free VNB in preventing tumor progression.The transcriptome analysis shows that VNB-VNP can alleviate the over-expression of ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 2(ENPP2),which may be the main reason why VNB-VNP can inhibit tumor invasion and metastasis.Overall,the research designs a new platform for VNB treatment,which demonstrates promising efficacy in inhibiting neoplastic progression and identifies a new mechanism associated with VNB-induced tumor metastasis,which may offer several valuable references for enhancing chemotherapy efficacy in clinical anti-tumor therapy.

The Convention on Biological Diversity seeks to conserve at least 30%of global land and water areas by 2030,which is a challenge but also an opportunity to better preserve biodiversity,including flowering plants(angiosperms).Herein,we compiled a large database on distributions of over 300,000 angiosperm species and the key functional traits of 67,024 species.Using this database,we constructed biodiversity-environment models to predict global patterns of taxonomic,phylogenetic,and functional diversity in terrestrial angiosperms and provide a comprehensive mapping of the three diversity facets.We further evaluated the current protection status of the biodiversity centers of these diversity facets.Our results showed that geographical patterns of the three facets of plant diversity exhibited substantial spatial mismatches and nonoverlapping conservation priorities.Idiosyncratic centers of functional diversity,particularly of herbaceous species,were primarily distributed in temperate regions and under weaker protection compared with other biodiversity centers of taxonomic and phylogenetic facets.Our global assessment of multifaceted biodiversity patterns and centers highlights the insufficiency and unbalanced conservation among the three diversity facets and the two growth forms(woody vs.herbaceous),thus providing directions for guiding the future conservation of global plant diversity.

Continual evolution of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)virus has allowed for its gradual evasion of neutralizing antibodies(nAbs)produced in response to natural infection or vaccination.The rapid nature of these changes has incited a need for the development of superior broad nAbs(bnAbs)and/or the rational design of an antibody cocktail that can protect against the mutated virus strain.Here,we report two angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 competing nAbs—8H12 and 3E2—with synergistic neutralization but evaded by some Omicron subvariants.Cryo-electron microscopy reveals the two nAbs synergistic neutralizing virus through a rigorous pairing permitted by rearrangement of the 472-489 loop in the receptor-binding domain to avoid steric clashing.Bispecific antibodies based on these two nAbs tremendously extend the neutralizing breadth and restore neutralization against recent variants including currently dominant XBB.1.5.Together,these findings expand our understanding of the potential strategies for the neutralization of SARS-CoV-2 variants toward the design of broad-acting antibody therapeutics and vaccines.

Fe-Based Metal-Organic Framework and Its Derivatives for Reversible Lithium Storage

The use of a Fe-based metal organic framework（MOF）, namely MIL-88B（Fe）, as active material for lithium ion batteries（LIBs） is reported for the first time in the present work. Fe-based MOF demonstrated high capacity, excellent cycling stability and rate performance when used as anode. A highly reversible capacity of 680 mAhg^（-1） after 500 cycles at a current density of 200 m A g^（-1） was obtained. In addition, Fe2O3 and Fe3O4/C composites were obtained from Fe-based MOFs through thermal treatment. Both Fe2O3 and Fe3O4/C composites demonstrated high capacity and excellent cycling stability.

提出一种改进的自适应多种群遗传算法,以更好地解决建筑结构-主动控制系统一体化优化问题,即同时对被控结构参数、控制算法参数、主动作动器布置位置进行优化。该遗传算法对编码方法、初始种群生成、选择策略、交叉概率和变异概率的自适应调整、多种群协同进化中移民策略等进行改进。研究结果表明:改进的自适应多种群遗传算法和改进的基本遗传算法优化结果总体一致,表明前者分析结果是正确的,并且具有较高的精度;改进的自适应多种群遗传算法和改进的基本遗传算法首次得到优化分析最优解的平均进化代数分别为320与730,表明前者比后者收敛速度更快;改进的自适应多种群遗传算法每次能达到或接近最优解,可有效克服基本遗传算法优化结果随机性较强的缺点;经改进的自适应多种群遗传算法优化的主动控制系统取得明显减振效果,E1 Centro波输入时,主动控制结构层间位移角峰值和绝对加速度峰值较无控时分别平均减小54.5%与46.7%。算例结果表明了改进的自适应多种群遗传算法的有效性,实现了对建筑结构-主动控制系统的一体化优化。

目的:探查全腔肺吻合术(TCPC)后患儿运动耐量状况及引起运动耐量下降的危险因素。方法:对2021年3月至2023年6月在我院接受心肺运动试验(CPET)的81例TCPC术后患儿进行回顾性研究。分析相关CPET参数,并根据最大摄氧量(VO_(2)max)占预计值百分比情况将患儿分为运动耐量较差组(VO_(2)max占预计值百分比 0.05)。多因素Logistic回归分析表明,年龄、体重指数和变时性指数是运动耐量较差的危险因素;最大单位体重摄氧量和无氧阈时随功率增加的摄氧量是发生运动振荡通气的危险因素。结论:TCPC术后患儿运动耐量普遍下降,表现为有氧运动能力受损,其危险因素为年龄、体重指数和变时性指数。最大单位体重摄氧量和无氧阈时随功率增加的摄氧量为术后运动振荡通气危险因素。

净生态系统生产力(NEP)是估算生态系统碳源/汇的重要指标,分析NEP时空变化特征及其对气候因子之间的响应,对科学评估区域生态系统的固碳能力及应对气候变化具有重要意义。以桂西南作为研究对象,基于遥感数据、土地利用数据、气象数据、DEM数据等数据,运用趋势分析、相关分析和残差分析等方法研究了桂西南地区NEP时空分布特征,并探讨了不同气候因子对NEP的影响。结果表明:(1)2000^(-2)018年研究区NEP的均值变化趋势均呈增长趋势,NEP年增长率为2.0384 g·m^(-2)·a^(-1),非喀斯特地区的NEP增长速率为2.7428 g·m^(-2)·a^(-1),而喀斯特地区NEP增长速率为0.6817 g·m^(-2)·a^(-1)。(2)19年来研究区NEP总体在空间呈现西北高,东南低的分布格局。NEP呈极显著增加的区域(15.39%)大于呈极显著减少区域(8.13%),说明研究区整体上生态系统的碳汇能力呈现出增强趋势。(3)研究区NEP与气温和降水均呈现出正相关关系,但NEP与降水的相关系数(0.0904)强于与气温的相关系数(0.0455)。(4)研究区内人类活动对NEP正负影响的贡献率分别是50.24%和49.76%。

[目的]在数字化技术迅速发展的当下,云技术被广泛应用在包括地铁系统在内的各行各业。出于对乘客出行安全的保障,实现大规模客流数据的实时获取和高效分析,需要提出面向客流分析场景的弹性集群云平台方案。[方法]分析了弹性集群云平台的核心功能需求,提出了弹性集群云平台的架构,阐述了弹性集群云平台的独特能力。针对不同发展阶段的地铁系统提出了2个弹性集群云平台部署方案,分析了各部署方案的优劣。以上海地铁为例,基于能力需求对比了部署方案的投资成本。分析了弹性集群云平台架构与地铁客流分析业务特征的匹配性。[结果及结论]地铁客流分析场景具有多系统并发、实时性高、数据量大等特点。弹性集群云平台能满足客流分析业务的多种需求。

分析钦防地区地面沉降时空分布、演变规律和驱动因素,可为区域灾害预测防治及城市规划提供科学依据。基于小基线集时序合成孔径雷达干涉测量(small baseline subset interferometric synthetic aperture Radar,SBAS-InSAR)技术,利用45景Sentinel-1A合成孔径雷达影像提取了研究区2018—2021年的地面沉降信息,同时结合地区地质背景、降水数据、土地利用情况和道路等数据,借助于空间分析技术、数理统计和遥感图像分类及变化检测等方法对研究区地面沉降的整体特征、时空演变趋势及其影响因素进行了可视化分析和定量化分析。结果表明:①在空间维度上,研究时段内研究区地面形变速率介于-114.37~58.55 mm/a之间,研究区内地面形变分布范围广且不均匀分布明显,形成了以钦南区主城区中南部、钦州港与港口区为主的3个沉降中心区域,沉降地区的沉降面积逐年增加并呈现出向南扩张的趋势;②在时间维度上,各沉降中心区域从整体上随着时间变化呈现不均匀的下沉趋势,但出现了周期性的回升,回升值最大可达18.4 mm;③在影响因素上,城镇化扩张、道路密度、构造运动、地层作用、降水作用和海平面上升是导致研究区地面沉降的主要因子,同时也主导了地面沉降的扩张和增幅。
