Background: In vitro fertilization (IVF) has emerged as a transformative solution for infertility. However, achieving favorable live-birth outcomes remains challenging. Current clinical IVF practices in IVF involve the collection of heterogeneous embryo data through diverse methods, including static images and temporal videos. However, traditional embryo selection methods, primarily reliant on visual inspection of morphology, exhibit variability and are contingent on the experience of practitioners. Therefore, an automated system that can evaluate heterogeneous embryo data to predict the final outcomes of live births is highly ***: We employed artificial intelligence (AI) for embryo morphological grading, blastocyst embryo selection, aneuploidy prediction, and final live-birth outcome prediction. We developed and validated the AI models using multitask learning for embryo morphological assessment, including pronucleus type on day 1 and the number of blastomeres, asymmetry, and fragmentation of blastomeres on day 3, using 19,201 embryo photographs from 8271 patients. A neural network was trained on embryo and clinical metadata to identify good-quality embryos for implantation on day 3 or day 5, and predict live-birth outcomes. Additionally, a 3D convolutional neural network was trained on 418 time-lapse videos of preimplantation genetic testing (PGT)-based ploidy outcomes for the prediction of aneuploidy and consequent live-birth ***: These two approaches enabled us to automatically assess the implantation potential. By combining embryo and maternal metrics in an ensemble AI model, we evaluated live-birth outcomes in a prospective cohort that achieved higher accuracy than experienced embryologists (46.1%vs. 30.7% on day 3, 55.0%vs. 40.7% on day 5). 目的:以政策协同为视角,从国家和省级两个层面探究71个DIP试点城市政策协同情况。方法:借助文本挖掘法构建政策评价维度,利用PMC指数模型绘制政策一致性曲面图,通过相关性分析计算各城市与国家政策、同省份各城市之间政策协同程度。结果:各试点城市政策水平不一,在政策公开、核心要素和基础设施方面存在差异;在国家层面,多数城市在政策性质、管理措施、基础建设和政策评价方面与国家保持了较高的一致性,政策时效、政策视角、核心要素等方面仍有待提高;在省级层面,20个省份的城市均呈现出低水平完全协同、高水平紧密协同和差异化部分协同3种不同的政策特征。结论:71个DIP试点城市初步建立了政策体系,但许多城市仍存在政策缺失、协调不足的问题。未来工作应集中于推动政策制定、完善政策体系,促进各试点城市在政策实施中的协调。

目的基于LDA主题模型对2023年我国医疗健康领域的52份政策文本进行内容主题挖掘,并分析政策的特征和重点。方法基于对52份医疗健康政策的阅读,并采用LDA主题模型对文献英文摘要进行无监督机器学习,以寻找文本的潜在主题并进行归类。结果政策主要集中在5个主题上,分别为质控监管管理、中医药专科建设管理、执法数字化管理、城乡公卫管理和护理与绩效考核管理。这些主题涵盖了医保基金监管、医疗质量控制、中医药发展、数字化转型和公共卫生服务等方面。政策较多侧重于互联互通、医保基金监管、城乡医疗健康均衡方面。然而,政策在不同领域间存在不均衡的问题,如数字化和质量管理方面相对薄弱。结论政策制定应注重平衡和解决内部矛盾,推动医疗健康事业全面、均衡发展,并提出政策评估机制的必要性。

"Micro-deletions" of the human Y chromosome and their relationship with male infertility

The Y chromosome evolves from an autochromosome and accumulates male-related genes including sex-determining region of Y-chromosome （SRY） and several spermatogenesis-related genes. The human Y chromosome （60 Mb long） is largely composed of repetitive sequences that give it a heterochromatic appearance, and it consists of pseudoautosomal, euchromatic, and heterochromatic regions. Located on the two extremities of the Y chromosome, pseudoautosomal regions 1 and 2 （PAR1 and PAR2, 2.6 Mb and 320 bp long, respectively） are homologs with the termini of the X chromosome. The euchromatic region and some of the repeat-rich heterochromatic parts of the Y chromosome are called ＂male-specific Y＂（MSY）, which occupy more than 95% of the whole Y chromosome. After evolution, the Y chromosome becomes the smallest in size with the least number of genes but with the most number of copies of genes that are mostly spermatogenesis-related. The Y chromosome is characterized by highly repetitive sequences （including direct repeats, inverted repeats, and palindromes） and high polymorphism. Several gene rearrangements on the Y chromosome occur during evolution owing to its specific gene structure. The consequences of such rearrangements are not only loss but also gain of specific genes. One hundred and fifty three haplotypes have been discovered in the human Y chromosome. The structure of the Y chromosome in the GenBank belongs to haplotype R1. There are 220 genes （104 coding genes, 111 pseudogenes, and 5 other uncategorized genes） according to the most recent count. The 104 coding genes encode a total of about 48 proteins/protein families （including putative proteins/protein families）. Among them, 16 gene products have been discovered in the azoospermia factor region （AZF） and are related to spermatogenesis. Organic carbon and nitrogen isotopes in surface sediments from the western Arctic Ocean and their implications for sedimentary environments

Surface sediments from the Chukchi Sea and adjacent arctic deep sea were investigated for organic carbon and nitrogen isotopes （in δ13Corg and δ15Norg） as well as biogeni＇c silica （BSiO2）. δ13Corg and δ15Norg values of surface sediments in the study area fall between the end-member values of marine and terrestrial organic matter from the surrounding lands and seas, their variations reflect the changes of marine productivity and terrestrial supply in the study area. BSiO2 shows a similar distribution pattern with δ13Corg and δ15Norg, and can be used as an indicator of marine productivity. In the central-west Chukchi Sea and the Chukchi Rise, sediments have higher δ13Corg, δ15Norg and BSiO2 values, indicating the region has high marine productivity influenced by the nutrient-rich branches of the Pacific waters. In the coastal zone off northwestern Alaska, δ13Corg and δ15Norg values become lighter, indicating a weakening marine productivity and an increasing terrigenous supply due to the effects of the least nutrient-rich branch of the Pacific waters. In the north and the northeast of the study area （including the Chukchi Plateau, the Canada Basin and the Beaufort shelf）, δ13Corg, δ15Norg and BSiO2 have the lowest values, and the terrigenous organic matter becomes dominant in surface sediments because this region has the longest ice-covered duration, the least nutrient-rich seawater and the increasing supply of terrestrial materials from the Mackenzie River and the northern Alaska under the action of the clockwise Beaufort gyre. Because the subarctic Pacific waters are continuously discharged into the central basin of the Arctic Ocean through the study area, the nutrient pool in the Chukchi Sea can be considered as a typical open system, the ratio of δ15Norg to BSiO2 content show some tracers that the level of nutrient utilization is contrary to nutrient supply and marine productivity formed in seawater.

Particulate organic carbon (POC) and its isotopic composition were measured monthly in the ChangjiangRiver (at Sta. Datong)for a whole year. It shows that their seasonal distribution has an obvious change and is similarto that of the Huanghe River. The annual weighted mean of POC 13 C values of the Changjiang River is almost the same as that of the Huanghe River. Based on the data of runoff and sediment load measured daily and POC concentra-tion measured monthly the POC flux at Sta. Datong was estimated. The flux value at Datong may be considered ap-proximately to be the M flux of the Changjiang River discharging into the sea. The M flux of the Changjiang Riv-er is slightly larger than that of the Huanghe River.

Mutations of t-complex testis expressed gene 5 transcripts in the testis of sterile t-haplotype mutant mouse

Aim： To determine the possible roles of the t-complex testis expressed gene 5 （Tctex5） on sperm functions, the fulllength sequence of mRNA was studied and compared in the testis between the normal wild-type and the sterile t-haplotype mutant mice. Methods： We applied rapid amplification of cDNA ends, Northern blot and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction to analyze the full length of Tctex5 mRNAs isolated from testes of the wild-type and the t-haplotype mice. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was used to semi-quantitatively compare expression of Tctex5 transcripts in the 16 tissues and 9.5 day stage embryos in the wild-type mice. E-translation was applied to estimate the amino acid sequences. Results： One long and one short transcript of Tctex5 mRNA were discovered in mouse testis of wild-type （Tctex5^long-＋ and Tctex5^short-＋） and t-haplotype （Tctex5^long-＋ and Tctex5^short-＋） mice, respectively. Being enhanced only in the testis, Tctex5^long-＋ had 17 point mutations and one 15-bp-deletion in the exon 1 region, comparing with the Tctex5^long-＋, whereas the Tctex5^short-＋ was similar to the Tctex5^short-＋. The short isoforms of Tctex5 mRNAs in the two models encoded exactly the same peptides, but the long isoforms did not. The estimated peptide encoded by Tctex5^long-＋ had significant mutations on putative sites of phosphorylation and PP1 binding. Conclusion： We established that mutations that occur in the Tctex5 long transcript of the t-haplotype mice are important for normal sperm function, whereas the short transcript of Tctex5 might have a conserved function among different tissues. （Asian J Androl 2008 Mar; 10： 219-226）

Physicochemical principles of hydrogen metallurgy in blast furnace

Based on the stoichiometric method and the free energy minimization method,an ideal model for the reduction of iron oxides by carbon and hydrogen under blast furnace conditions was established,and the reduction efficiency and theoretical energy consumption of the all-carbon blast furnace and the hydrogen-rich blast furnace were *** results show that after the reduction reaction is completed at the bottom of the blast furnace,the gas produced by reduction at 1600℃still has a certain excessive reduction capacity,which is due to the hydrogen brought in by the hydrogen-rich blast as well as the excess carbon monoxide generated by the reaction of the coke and the oxygen brought in by the *** the process of the gas with excessive reduction capacity rising from the bottom of the blast furnace and gas reduction process,the excessive reduction capacity of the gas gradually decreases with the increase in the dydrogen content in the *** the all-carbon blast furnace,the excess gas reduction capacity is the strongest,and the total energy consumption per ton of iron reduction is the *** shows that,for the current operation mode of the blast furnace,adding hydrogen in the blast furnace cannot reduce the consumption of carbon required for reduction per ton of iron,but rather increases the consumption of carbon.
