Spatiotemporal evolution and future simulation of land use/land cover in the Turpan-Hami Basin,China

The Turpan-Hami(Tuha)Basin in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,holds significant strategic importance as a key economic artery of the ancient Silk Road and the Belt and Road Initiative,necessitating a holistic understanding of the spatiotemporal evolution of land use/land cover(LULC)to foster sustainable planning that is tailored to the region's unique resource ***,existing LULC classification methods demonstrate inadequate accuracy,hindering effective regional *** this study,we established a two-level LULC classification system(8 primary types and 22 secondary types)for the Tuha *** employing Landsat 5/7/8 imagery at 5-a intervals,we developed the LULC dataset of the Tuha Basin from 1990 to 2020,conducted the accuracy assessment and spatiotemporal evolution analysis,and simulated the future LULC under various scenarios via the Markov-Future Land Use Simulation(Markov-FLUS)*** results revealed that the average overall accuracy values of our LULC dataset were 0.917 and 0.864 for the primary types and secondary types,*** with the seven mainstream LULC products(GlobeLand30,Global 30-meter Land Cover with Fine Classification System(GLC_FCS30),Finer Resolution Observation and Monitoring of Global Land Cover PLUS(FROM_GLC PLUS),ESA Global Land Cover(ESA_LC),Esri Land Cover(ESRI_LC),China Multi-Period Land Use Land Cover Change Remote Sensing Monitoring Dataset(CNLUCC),and China Annual Land Cover Dataset(CLCD))in 2020,our LULC data exhibited dramatically elevated overall accuracy and provided more precise delineations for land features,thereby yielding high-quality data backups for land resource analyses within the *** 2020,unused land(78.0%of the study area)and grassland(18.6%)were the dominant LULC types of the basin;although cropland and construction land constituted less than 1.0%of the total area,they played a vital role in arid land development and primarily situated within oases that form the urban co

Study on Ecological Change Remote Sensing Monitoring Method Based on Elman Dynamic Recurrent Neural Network

In this paper, Hailin City of Heilongjiang Province, China is taken as the research area. As an important city in Heilongjiang Province, China, the sustainable development of its ecological environment is related to the opening up, economic prosperity and social stability of Northeast China. In this paper, the remote sensing ecological index (RSEI) of Hailin City in recent 20 years was calculated by using Landsat 5/8/9 series satellite images, and the temporal and spatial changes of the ecological environment in Hailin City were further analyzed and the influencing factors were discussed. From 2003 to 2023, the mean value of RSEI in Hailin City decreased and increased, and the ecological environment decreased slightly as a whole. RSEI declined most significantly from 2003 to 2008, and it increased from 2008 to 2013, decreased from 2013 to 2018, and increased from 2018 to 2023 again, with higher RSEI value in the south and lower RSEI value in the northwest. It is suggested to appropriately increase vegetation coverage in the northwest to improve ecological quality. As a result, the predicted value of Elman dynamic recurrent neural network model is consistent with the change trend of the mean value, and the prediction error converges quickly, which can accurately predict the ecological environment quality in the future study area.

The lithium(Li)metal anode is widely regarded as an ideal anode material for high-energy-density ***,uncontrolled Li dendrite growth often leads to unfavorable interfaces and low Coulombic efficiency(CE),limiting its broader ***,an ether-based electrolyte(termed FGN-182)is formulated,exhibiting ultra-stable Li metal anodes through the incorporation of LiFSI and LiNO3 as dual *** synergistic effect of the dual salts facilitates the formation of a highly robust SEI film with fast Li+transport ***,Li||Cu half cells exhibit an average CE reaching up to 99.56%.In particular,pouch cells equipped with high-loading lithium cobalt oxide(LCO,3 mAh cm^(-2))cathodes,ultrathin Li chips(25μm),and lean electrolytes(5 g Ah-1)demonstrate outstanding cycling performance,retaining 80%capacity after 125 *** address the gas issue in the cathode under high voltage,cathode additives 1,3,6-tricyanohexane is incorporated with FGN-182;the resulting high-voltage LCO||Li(4.4 V)pouch cells can cycle steadily over 93 *** study demonstrates that,even with the use of ether-based electrolytes,it is possible to simultaneously achieve significant improvements in both high Li utilization and electrolyte tolerance to high voltage by exploring appropriate functional additives for both the cathode and anode.

Development and Implementation of Physics-Informed Neural ODE for Dynamics Modeling of a Fixed-Wing Aircraft Under Icing/Fault

Accurate dynamics modeling is crucial for the safety and control offixed-wing aircraft under perturbation(***/fault).In this work,we propose a physics-informed Neural Ordinary Differential Equation(PI-NODE)-based scheme for aircraft dynamics modeling under icing/***,icing accumulation and control surface faults are considered and injected into the nominal(clean)aircraft dynamics ***,the physics knowledge of aircraft dynamics modeling is divided into kinematics and *** former is universally applicable and borrows directly from the nominal *** latter kinetics knowledge,which hinges on external forces and moments,is inaccurate and challenging under icing/*** address this issue,we employ Neural ODE to compensate for the residual between the aircraft dynamics under icing/fault and the nominal(clean)condition,resulting in a naturally continuous-time modeling *** experiments,we benchmark the proposed PI-NODE against three baseline methods in a dedicated flight *** studies validate the higher accuracy and improve the generalization ability of the proposed PI-NODE for aircraft dynamics modeling under icing/fault.

SARS-CoV-2 infection in animals: Patterns, transmission routes, and drivers

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is more widespread in animals than previously thought,and it may be able to infect a wider range of domestic and wild *** effectively control the spread of the virus and protect animal health,it is crucial to understand the cross-species transmission mechanisms and risk factors of *** article collects published literature on SARS-CoV-2 in animals and examines the distribution,transmission routes,biophysical,and anthropogenic drivers of infected *** reported cases of infection in animals are mainly concentrated in South America,North America,and Europe,and species affected include lions,white-tailed deer,pangolins,minks,and *** factors influencing infection of animals with SARS-CoV-2 include environmental determinants,high-risk landscapes,air quality,and susceptibility of different animal species,while anthropogenic factors comprise human behavior,intensive livestock farming,animal markets,and land *** to current research gaps and surveillance capacity shortcomings,future mitigation strategies need to be designed from a One Health perspective,with research focused on key regions with significant data gaps in Asia and Africa to understand the drivers,pathways,and spatiotemporal dynamics of interspecies transmission.

Cobalt-free,nickel-rich LiNi_(1-x)Al_(x)O_(2)(x≤0.1)is an attractive cathode material because of high energy density and low cost but suffers from severe structural degradation and poor rate *** this study,we propose a molten salt-assisted synthesis in combination with a Li-refeeding induced aluminum segregation strategy to prepare Li_(5)AlO_(4)-coated single-crystalline slightly Li-rich Li_(1.04)Ni_(0.92)Al_(0.04)O_(2).The symbiotic formation of Li_(5)AlO_(4)from reaction between molten lithium hydroxide and doped aluminum in the bulk ensures a high lattice matching between the Ni-rich oxide and the homogenous conductive Li_(5)AlO_(4)that permits high Li^(+)*** from mitigated undesirable side reactions and phase evolution,the Li_(5)AlO_(4)-coated single-crystalline Li_(1.04)Ni_(0.92)Al_(0.04)O_(2)delivers a high specific capacity of220.2 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C and considerable rate capability(182.5 mA h g^(-1)at 10 C).Besides,superior capacity retention of 90.8%is obtained at 1/3 C after 100 cycles in a 498.1 mA h pouch full ***,the particulate morphology of Li_(1.04)Ni_(0.92)Al_(0.04)O_(2)remains intact after cycling at a cutoff voltage of 4.3 V,whereas slightly Li-deficient Li_(0.98)Ni_(0.97)Al_(0.05)O_(2)features intragranular cracks and irreversible lattice *** results highlight the value of molten salt-assisted synthesis and Li-refeeding induced elemental segregation strategy to upgrade Ni-based layered oxide cathode materials for advanced Li-ion batteries.

Coinfusion of unrelated cord blood(UCB)units in haploidentical hematopoietic cell transplantation(haplo-HCT)(haplo-cord HCT)for hematopoietic malignancies showed promising results in previous reports,but the efficiency of haplo-cord HCT in acute myeloid leukemia(AML)still lacks sufficient *** multicenter,randomized,phase 3 trial(*** NCT03719534)aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of haplo-cord HCT in AML patients.A total of 268 eligible patients aged 18-60 years,diagnosed with measurable residual disease in AML(excluding acute promyelocytic leukemia),with available haploidentical donors and suitable for allotransplantation,were randomly allocated(1:1)to receive haplo-cord HCT(n=134)or haplo-HCT(n=134).The 3-year overall survival(OS)was the primary endpoint in this *** median follow-up was 36.50 months(IQR 24.75-46.50).The 3-year OS of Haplo-cord HCT group was better than haplo-HCT group(80.5%,95%confidence interval[CI]:73.7-87.9 vs.67.8%95%CI 60.0-76.5,p=0.013).Favorable progression-free survival(70.3%,95%CI 62.6-78.8 vs.57.6%,95%CI 49.6-67.0,p=0.012)and cumulative incidence of relapse(12.1%,95%CI 12.0-12.2 vs.30.3%,95%CI 30.1-30.4,p=0.024)were observed in haplo-cord HCT *** 3-4 adverse events(AEs)within two years posttransplantation in the two groups were ***-cord HCT patients exhibited a faster cumulative incidence of neutrophil recovery(p=0.026)and increased T-cell reconstitution in the early period ***-cord HCT can improve OS in AML patients without excessive AEs,which may exert additional benefits for recipients of haplo-HCT.
