Aero-Hydro-Elastic-Servo Modeling and Dynamic Response Analysis of A Monopile Offshore Wind Turbine Under Different Operating Scenarios

This paper constructs a coupled aero-hydro-elastic-servo simulation framework for a monopile offshore wind turbine(OWT).In this framework,a detailed multi-body dynamics model of the monopile OWT including the gearbox,blades,tower and other components(nacelle,hub,bedplate,etc.)has been explicitly *** effects of pile−soil interaction,controller and operational conditions on the turbine dynamic responses are studied systematically in time domain and frequency *** results show that(1)a comprehensive drivetrain model has the capability to provide a more precise representation of the complex dynamic characteristics exhibited by drivetrain components,which can be used as the basis for further study on the dynamic characteristics of the drivetrain.(2)The pile−soil interaction can influence the wind turbine dynamic responses,particularly under the parked condition.(3)The effect of the pile−soil interaction on tower responses is more significant than that on blade responses.(4)The use of the controller can substantially affect the rotor characteristics,which in turn influences the turbine dynamic responses.(5)The tower and blade displacements under the operational condition are much larger than those under the parked *** model and methodology presented in this study demonstrate potential for examining complex dynamic behaviors of the monopile *** ensure accuracy and precision,it is imperative to construct a detailed model of the wind turbine system,while also taking into account simulation efficiency.

Cutting performance of saw blades with microtextured rougher and finisher sawteeth

The problems of severe sawtooth wear,harsh sawing noise,and low surface quality during the processing of circular saw blades need to be *** improve the cutting performance of TiC-based cermet saw blades,microtextures parallel to the cutting edge were fabricated on rough and fine sawteeth by laser *** cutting tests were performed on a sawing platform under lubricated *** of the sawing arc length and working sawtooth cutting force variations were developed for sawing steel pipes,and the accuracy of the sawing force model was verified *** results indicate that the variations in the sawing force are proportional to the sawing arc *** circular saw blades with microtextures that did not penetrate the sawtooth rake face exhibited the lowest cutting force,sawing noise,and highest machined surface ***,the worn-out distance of the rougher and finisher sawteeth was reduced by approximately 7.4%and 44.1%,respectively,compared with conventional circular saw *** main failure modes of sawteeth were tip wear,rake face adhesion,and oxidative *** addition,the mechanism by which the textures improve the cutting and wear properties of TiC-based circular saw blades was *** study provided a significant concept for enhancing the cutting performance of circular saw blades and improving the machined surface quality.

Cross-species transmission and host range genes in poxviruses

The persistent epidemic of human mpox, caused by mpox virus (MPXV), raises concerns about the future spread ofMPXV and other poxviruses. MPXV is a typical zoonotic virus which can infect human and cause smallpox-likesymptoms. MPXV belongs to the Poxviridae family, which has a relatively broad host range from arthropods tovertebrates. Cross-species transmission of poxviruses among different hosts has been frequently reported andresulted in numerous epidemics. Poxviruses have a complex linear double-strand DNA genome that encodeshundreds of proteins. Genes related to the host range of poxvirus are called host range genes (HRGs). This reviewbriefly introduces the taxonomy, phylogeny and hosts of poxviruses, and then comprehensively summarizes thecurrent knowledge about the cross-species transmission of poxviruses. In particular, the HRGs of poxvirus aredescribed and their impacts on viral host range are discussed in depth. We hope that this review will provide acomprehensive perspective about the current progress of researches on cross-species transmission and HRGvariation of poxviruses, serving as a valuable reference for academic studies and disease control in the future.

Refined symmetry-resolved Page curve and charged black holes

The Page curve plotted using the typical random state approximation is not applicable to a system with conserved quantities,such as the evaporation process of a charged black hole,during which the electric charge does not macroscopically radiate out with a uniform *** this context,the symmetry-resolved entanglement entropy may play a significant role in describing the entanglement structure of such a *** attempt to impose constraints on microscopic quantum states to match the macroscopic phenomenon of charge radiation during black hole ***,we consider a simple qubit system with conserved spin/charge serving as a toy model for the evaporation of charged black *** propose refined rules for selecting a random state with conserved quantities to simulate the distribution of charges during the different stages of evaporation and obtain refined Page curves that exhibit distinct features in contrast to the original Page *** find that the refined Page curve may have a different Page time and exhibit asymmetric behavior on both sides of the Page *** refined Page curves may provide a more realistic description for the entanglement between the charged black hole and radiation during the evaporation process.

Construction of MoP/MoS_(2) Core-shell Structure Electrocatalyst for Boosting Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

Hydrogen energy stands out as one of the most promising alternative energy sources due to its cleanliness and *** water splitting offers a sustainable pathway for hydrogen ***,the kinetic rate of the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)is sluggish,emphasizing the critical need for stable and highly active electrocatalysts to facilitate HER and enhance reaction *** metal-based catalysts have garnered attention for their favorable catalytic activity in electrochemical hydrogen evolution in alkaline *** this investigation,flower-like nanorods of MoS_(2) were directly synthesized in situ on a nickel foam substrate,followed by the formation of MoP/MoS_(2)-nickel foam(NF)heterostructures through high-temperature phosphating in a tube furnace *** findings reveal that MoP/MoS_(2)-NF-450 exhibits outstanding electrocatalytic performance in an alkaline milieu,demonstrating a low overpotential(90 mV)and remarkable durability at a current density of 10 mA/cm^(2).Comprehensive analysis indicates that the introduction of phosphorus(P)atoms enhances the synergistic effect with MoS_(2),while the distinctive flower-like nanorod structure of MoS_(2) exposes more active ***,the interface between the MoP/MoS_(2) heterostructure and NF facilitates electron transfer during hydrogen evolution,thereby enhancing electrocatalytic *** design and synthesis of such catalysts offer a valuable approach for the development of high-performance hydrogen evolution electrocatalysts.

Superhydrophilic surfaces have been applied for supercapacitor;however,during energy storage reaction,how the wettability affects the process of electrochemical reaction specifically is still ***,we demonstrate superhydrophilic surface for promotion of electrochemical reactions by liquid affinity and further explain the mechanism,where the transition of the wettability state caused by the change in surface free energy is the main reason for the obvious increase in specific *** citric acid assistance strategy,an intrinsically hydrophobic Ni(OH)_(2)thick nanosheets(HNHTNs,16 nm)can be transitioned into superhydrophilic Ni(OH)_(2)ultrathin nanosheets(SNHUNs,6.8 nm),where the water contact angle was 0°and the surface free energy increased from 8.6to 65.8 mN·m^(-1),implying *** with HNHTNs,the specific capacitance of SNHUNs is doubled:from 1230 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 2350 F·g^(-1)(2A·g^(-1))and,even at 20 A·g^(-1),from 833 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 1670 F·g^(-1).The asymmetric capacitors assembled by SNHUNs and activated carbon show 52.44 Wh·kg^(-1)at 160W·kg^(-1)and excellent stability with~90%retention after5000 cycles(~80%retention after 9500 cycles).The promotion of electrochemical performances is ascribed to the change of surface wettability caused by surface free energy,which greatly increase affinity of electrode to the surrounding liquid environment to reduce the interface resistance and optimize the electron transport path.

Lead-free(Ba,Sr)TiO_(3)-based ceramics with superior tunable properties by the semi-solution method

High-performance dielectric tunable materials with both high dielectric tunability and low dielectric loss are urgently needed for new-generation electronic tunable *** the present study,a new system,(Ba_(0.675)Sr_(0.325))_(1−x)La_(x)Ti_(1−x)MnxO_(3)(x=0.25%,0.5%,0.75%,and 1.0%),was *** acceptor dopant Mn was added to lower dielectric loss,while the donor dopant La was introduced to enhance dielectric *** samples were prepared using the conventional solid-state(CS)reaction method and the semi-solution(SS)*** experimental results showed that the morphology of the ceramics was optimized by further improving the processing *** microstructures,homogeneous grains,and uniform dopant distributions could be achieved successfully by the semi-solution ***,a significant enhancement in the tunable properties was realized owing to the improved microstructure mentioned *** optimum tunable properties occurred in the samples prepared by the semi-solution method at x=0.75%,with a high dielectric tunability of 85.0%,a low dielectric loss of 0.0011,and an excellent figure of merit(FOM)of *** tunable properties of(Ba,Sr)TiO_(3)(BST)ceramics were even superior to those of lead-based materials,with an FOM of approximately *** the results suggested that the semi-solution method rendered BST ceramics more promising for applications in tunable devices.

Skin wounds are characterized by injury to the skin due to trauma,tearing,cuts,or *** such injuries are common to all human groups,they may at times represent a serious socioeconomic ***,increasing numbers of studies have focused on the role of mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)-derived extracellular vesicles(EVs)in skin wound *** a cell-free therapy,MSC-derived EVs have shown significant application potential in the field of wound repair as a more stable and safer option than conventional cell *** based on MSC-derived EVs can significantly promote the repair of damaged substructures,including the regeneration of vessels,nerves,and hair *** addition,MSC-derived EVs can inhibit scar formation by affecting angiogenesis-related and antifibrotic pathways in promoting macrophage polarization,wound angiogenesis,cell proliferation,and cell migration,and by inhibiting excessive extracellular matrix ***,these structures can serve as a scaffold for components used in wound repair,and they can be developed into bioengineered EVs to support trauma *** the formulation of standardized culture,isolation,purification,and drug delivery strategies,exploration of the detailed mechanism of EVs will allow them to be used as clinical treatments for wound *** conclusion,MSCderived EV-based therapies have important application prospects in wound *** we provide a comprehensive overview of their current status,application potential,and associated drawbacks.

Transparent micropatterned conductive films based on highlyordered nanowire network
