The highest morbidity and mortality in the world are attributed to digestive system tumors,such as stomach cancer,liver cancer,and pancreatic *** potential biomarkers is a crucial direction of tumor *** use bioinformatics methods to explore potential biomarkers of the digestive *** and analyzing data from Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis(GEPIA),Kaplan-Meier,cBioPortal,and Metabolic gEne RApid Visualizer(MERAV)to explore the correlation between IGF2BP(insulin-like growth factor-2 mRNA-binding protein)family expression and immune infiltration in digestive system tumors,and further probe the prognostic value of IGF2BP family in digestive system *** cancer tissues showed a significantly higher expression of IGF2BP2 than normal tissues,while IGF2BP3 was notably more expressed in esophageal cancer,pancreatic cancer,and stomach *** the prognosis evaluation,the IGF2BP1 gene in patients with liver cancer and the IGF2BP2 and IGF2BP3 genes in patients with stomach cancer and liver cancer of the low gene expression level groups were *** COX regression analysis further suggested that tumor stage,CD8 positive T cells,macrophages,dendritic cell infiltration,and IGF2BP3 expression were independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of patients with stem cell liver *** IGF2BP family may be a potential marker for immunotherapy and the prognosis of digestive system tumors.

Recent Advances on Chiral Mobile Phase Additives: A Critical Review

Chirality is one of the fundamental attributes of nature, which exists in different or even completely opposite metabolic,toxicological and pharmacological properties in organisms. Consequently, obtaining enantiomerically pure drugs or optically active intermediates is highly desired in many fields like medicine, food and biochemistry. Thereby, it also promoted the development of various enantiomer selective separation techniques. Among the many chiral separation methods, chiral mobile phase additives(CMPAs) are widely used in various chromatographic techniques due to their simple operation,good versatility and low price. There have been a number of reviews on the research progress of CMPAs in last 2 decades,but they only reviewed the application of CMPAs in one specific chromatographic technique. Therefore, to provide a more comprehensive illustration of CMPAs in separation technology, their applications in high-performance liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, countercurrent chromatography, nano-liquid chromatography were summarized and their advantages and disadvantages were briefly introduced in this critical review. The application of molecular simulation in the study of chiral separation mechanism was briefly summarized. We expect that it will provide researchers with the latest developments in this field and potential inspirations.

Prognostic value of red blood cell distribution width for severe acute pancreatitis

Gallstone recurrence after successful percutaneous cholecystolithotomy:a 10-year follow-up of 439 cases

BACKGROUND: Stone recurrence is a major problem in the medication of gallstones with gallbladder preservation. The aim of this study was to determine the long-term recurrence rate of gallstones and the clinical outcome after successful percutaneous cholecystolithotomy (PCCL) treatment, and to investigate the possible risk factors for gallstone recurrence. METHODS: After successful PCCL for gallstones, 439 patients were followed up during a 10-year period. The long-term gallstone recurrence rate and clinical outcome were evaluated. Risk factors associated with stone recurrence were identified. RESULTS: Gallstone recurrence was detected in 182 of 439 PCCL patients, giving an overall recurrence rate of 41.46%. The cumulative gallstone recurrence rate for each of the 10 post-operative years was 9.57%, 18.91%, 27.33%, 34.14%, 37.59%, 39.86%, 41.90%, 42.73%, 42.85%, and 43.21%, respectively. Among these recurrent patients, 94 were asymptomatic, 80 suffered from nonspecific upper gastrointestinal symptoms and 8 suffered from abdominal pain or biliary colic. Thirty-eight of the 182 patients were retreated with cholecystectomy. The risk factors for stone recurrence included a family history of gallstones, preference for fatty food, accompanying liver disease, multiple stones and poor gallbladder function pre-PCCL. CONCLUSIONS: In this study, the overall recurrence rate of gallstone was 41.46% during a 10-year period. The highest frequency of gallstone recurrence was during the 5th to 6th postoperative years and then continued to slowly increase. Risk factors for stone recurrence varied. We suggest that the use of PCCL in patients with gallstones should be considered carefully because of stone recurrence.

Formation of internal cracks during soft reduction in rectangular bloom continuous casting

To investigate the formation of internal cracks in GCrl 5 bearing steels during the soft reduction process in rectangular bloom con- tinuous casting, fully coupled thermomechanieal finite element models were developed using the commercial software ***, and microstructures and fractographs were also observed. With the finite element models, the contours of temperature, equivalent plastic strain, and equivalent vun Mises stress were simulated. It is observed that the fracture surfaces of internal cracks are covered by cleavage or quasi-cleavage facets. The region of internal cracks in the intergranular brittle fracture mode is in the mushy zone between the zero ductility temperature （ZDT） and the zero strength temperature （ZST）. The simulated equivalent plastic strain in the crack region is 2.34%-2.45%, which is larger than the critical strain （0.4%-1.5%）, and the equivalent von Mises stress is 1.84-5.05 MPa, which is within the range of criti- cal stress （3.9-7.2 MPa）, thus resulting in the occurrence of internal cracks. Reducing the soft reduction amount from 3 to 2 mm can lower the stress under the critical value.

Verrucosidins,a methylatedα-pyrone class of polyketides rarely reported upon,have been implicated in one or more neurological *** the signifcance of verrucosidins as neurotoxins,the absolute confgurations of most of the derivatives have not been accurately characterized *** this study,three pairs of C-9 epimeric verrucosidin derivatives,including the known compounds penicyrones A and B(1a/1b)and 9-O-methylpenicyrones A and B(2a/2b),the new compounds 9-O-ethylpenicyrones A and B(3a/3b),together with the related known derivative verrucosidin(4),were isolated and identifed from the culture extract of Penicillium cyclopium SD-413,which was obtained from the marine sediment collected from the East China *** structures were established based on an in-depth analysis of nuclear magnetic resonances(NMR)and mass spectroscopic *** of the absolute confgurations of these compounds was accomplished by Mosher’s method and time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT)calculations of electronic circular dichroism(ECD)and optical rotation(OR).The confgurational assignment of penicyrone A demonstrated that the previously reported C-6 absolute confguration of verrucosidin derivatives needs to be revised from(6S)to(6R).The 9R/9S epimers of compounds 1–3 were found to exhibit growth inhibition against some pathogenic bacteria,indicating that they have potential as lead compounds for the creation of antimicrobial agents.

Microstructure,segregation and precipitate evolution in directionally solidified GH4742 superalloy
