Borophene is an emerging and promising twodimensional material for spintronics ***,the origin and controllability of its magnetism remain poorly understood,thereby hindering the further development of borophene-based *** this study,it is demonstrated that χ_(3) borophene with vacancy defects,which contains zigzag edges and dangling bonds,exhibits spin *** understand the origin and characteristics of its magnetism,a magnetic study of vacancy defects in χ_(3) borophene using first-principles calculations was *** is determined that the unpaired dangling bond electrons in the σ state contribute to its magnetism,and the zigzagged vacancy structure helps to maintain the localization and stability of unpaired *** coupling is completed by the s-p orbital interaction and mediated by p-orbital itinerant *** magnetic coupling energy difference oscillates with the distance of magnetic atoms because of the indirect magnetic exchange by itinerant electrons and electronic shielding,in accordance with the Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida(RKKY)***,the causality between the dangling bonds and magnetism is identified by saturating magnetic B atoms using H,C and N *** study provides a reference for the regulation of borophene in magnetic semiconductors.

A novel europium complex, formulated as {[Eu(HPimda)(Himba)·4HO]·4HO}(1)(HPimda = 2-propyl-1H- imidazole- 4, 5-dicarboxy acid, and Himba = 4-(1H- imidazole-1-ly) benzoic acid), has been obtained by the hydrothermal reaction. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis shows that complex 1 exhibits one-dimensional(1-D) ribbon-double cha in composed of tetranuclear europium clusters, and these chains are further linked by Him ba ligands into the 2-D corrugated layer arrays. Complex 1 exhibits efficiently sensitized r ed luminescence in visible region in N, N-dimethyl formamide(DMF) based on characteri zation emission of europium(III) ion. When Cd(NO) is dropped in the DMF suspension of 1, the luminescence intensity increases linearly, rapidly, which indicates it may be em ployed as a fluorescent ratiometric probe for detection pollutant Cd(II) anion. In addition,complex 1 is characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, thermogravimetric(TG) analy sis and PXRD measurement.

Due to the lack of accurate data and complex parameterization,the prediction of groundwater depth is a chal-lenge for numerical *** learning can effectively solve this issue and has been proven useful in the prediction of groundwater depth in many *** this study,two new models are applied to the prediction of groundwater depth in the Ningxia area,*** two models combine the improved dung beetle optimizer(DBO)algorithm with two deep learning models:The Multi-head Attention-Convolution Neural Network-Long Short Term Memory networks(MH-CNN-LSTM)and the Multi-head Attention-Convolution Neural Network-Gated Recurrent Unit(MH-CNN-GRU).The models with DBO show better prediction performance,with larger R(correlation coefficient),RPD(residual prediction deviation),and lower RMSE(root-mean-square error).Com-pared with the models with the original DBO,the R and RPD of models with the improved DBO increase by over 1.5%,and the RMSE decreases by over 1.8%,indicating better prediction *** addition,compared with the multiple linear regression model,a traditional statistical model,deep learning models have better prediction performance.

Electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction(NO3RR)to ammonia is a promising approach to address excess Ncontamination in aqueous environment but suffers from a limited ammonia yield and selectivity due to the low concentration and sluggish *** work reports a three-dimensional porous electrode with binary Co_(2)Cu_(1)hydroxy phosphate embedded into the surface of Ni_(3)Co_(1)oxy/hydroxides(CoCu-PH@NiCo/Ni,“PH”means phosphate-hydroxide),which delivers a yield of 4.13 mg·h^(-1)·cm^(-2)with a high Faraday efficiency of 92.6%under a low nitrate concentration of 40 mM and provide an impressive *** embedded structure of the as-prepared catalyst exhibits unique metal coordination ligands and valence states different from the unitary *** electrochemical in situ infrared spectra and theoretical calculations revealed that the Co sites with the ability to dissociate water molecular to form adsorbed OH*can effectively provide the required protons for the deoxygenation and hydrogenation steps during NO3-conversion,thereby,effectively reducing the energy barrier of the key transition states in the NO3RR process to improve the intrinsic *** demonstrate that the rational design of binary components with the appropriate ability to activate water molecules as well as the threedimensional porous skeletal structure are expected to promote effectively the low-concentration nitrates conversion to ammonia.
