Effect of noble metal nanoparticle size on C–N bond cleavage performance in hydrodenitrogenation: a study of active sites

Breakage of the C-N bond is a structure sensitive process,and the catalyst size significantly affects its *** the active metal nanoparticle scale,the role of catalyst size in C-N bond cleavage has not been clearly ***,Ru catalysts with variable nanoparticle sizes were obtained by modulating the reduction temperature,and the catalytic activity was evaluated using 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline and o-propylaniline with different C-N bond hybridization patterns as *** showed a 13 times higher reaction rate for sp3-hybridized C-N bond cleavage than sp2-hybridized C-N bond cleavage,while the reaction rate tended to increase first and then decrease as the catalyst nanoparticle size *** concentrations of terrace,step,and corner sites were found in different sizes of Ru *** relationship between catalytic site variation and C-N bond cleavage activity was further investigated by calculating the turnover frequency values for each *** analysis indicates that the variation of different sites on the catalyst is the intrinsic factor of the size dependence of C-N bond cleavage activity,and the step atoms are the active sites for the C-N bond *** Ru nanoparticles are smaller than 1.9 nm,they have a strong adsorption effect on the reactants,which will affect the catalytic performance of the Ru ***,these findings were also confirmed on other metallic Pd/Pt *** role of step sites in C-N bond cleavage was proposed using the density function theory *** reactants have stronger adsorption energies on the step atoms,and step atoms have d-band center nearer to the Fermi *** this case,the interaction with the reactant is stronger,which is beneficial for activating the C-N bond of the reactant.

The functional diversity index of a phytoplankton body has gradually become a new mean of measuring and *** explore the response of phytoplankton taxonomy and the functional diversity index to interannual environmental changes,a survey on the structure of the phytoplankton community and water physicochemical characteristics of the water was carried out at 28 sampling points in the Harbin section of the Songhua River for three consecutive years in every May from 2021 to *** taxonomy diversity index and the functional diversity index were ***,The relationship between the structure of the characteristics of the community and environmental factors was explored;secondly,we reveal the responses of taxonomic and functional diversity indices to different habitats between years;finally,we explore the main environmental factors that control the taxonomic and functional diversity indices of *** show that,initially,environmental factors in water changes caused by different water levels between years affected the composition of phytoplankton ***,by comparing the taxonomic diversity index and the functional diversity index on a time scale,we found that the taxonomic diversity index was more responsive to environmental ***,the main environmental factors on the phytoplankton taxonomic diversity index were dissolved oxygen,Taxonomic diversity index,and specific conductivity,and the main environmental factors that affected the functional diversity index were dissolved oxygen,turbidity,and water *** study reveals the important role of the taxonomic diversity index in river water quality evaluation,obtained new information on the relative precision of the taxonomic diversity index and the functional diversity index in the evaluation of ecological health of the water,and provided a reliable tool for monitoring river water quality based on aquatic organisms.

2D copper-iron bimetallic metal-organic frameworks for reduction of nitrate with boosted efficiency and ammonia selectivity

Electrocatalytic reduction of nitrate to ammonia has been considered a promising and sustainable pathway for pollutant treatment and ammonia has significant potential as a clean ***,the method has received much *** this work,Cu/Fe 2D bimetallic metal-organic frameworks were synthesized by a facile method applied as cathode materials without high-temperature *** centers(Cu,Fe)with enhanced intrinsic activity demonstrated higher removal ***,the 2D nanosheet reduced themass transfer barrier between the catalyst and nitrate and increased the reaction ***,the catalysts with a 2D structure showed much better removal efficiency than other structures(3D MOFs and BulkMOFs).Under optimal conditions,Cu/Fe-2D MOF exhibited high nitrate removal efficiency(87.8%)and ammonium selectivity(89.3%)*** ammonium yielded up to significantly 907.2μg/(hr·mg_(cat))(7793.8μg/(hr·mg_(metal)))with Faradaic efficiency of 62.8%at an initial 100 mg N/*** catalyst was proved to have good stability and was recycled 15 times with excellent *** simulations confirm the reduced Gibbs free energy of Cu/Fe-2D *** study demonstrates the promising application of Cu/Fe-2D MOF in nitrate reduction to ammonia and provides new insights for the design of efficient electrode materials.

Precise polyp segmentation is vital for the early diagnosis and prevention of colorectal cancer(CRC)in clinical ***,due to scale variation and blurry polyp boundaries,it is still a challenging task to achieve satisfactory segmentation performance with different scales and *** this study,we present a novel edge-aware feature aggregation network(EFA-Net)for polyp segmentation,which can fully make use of cross-level and multi-scale features to enhance the performance of polyp ***,we first present an edge-aware guidance module(EGM)to combine the low-level features with the high-level features to learn an edge-enhanced feature,which is incorporated into each decoder unit using a layer-by-layer ***,a scale-aware convolution module(SCM)is proposed to learn scale-aware features by using dilated convolutions with different ratios,in order to effectively deal with scale ***,a cross-level fusion module(CFM)is proposed to effectively integrate the cross-level features,which can exploit the local and global contextual ***,the outputs of CFMs are adaptively weighted by using the learned edge-aware feature,which are then used to produce multiple side-out segmentation *** results on five widely adopted colonoscopy datasets show that our EFA-Net outperforms state-of-the-art polyp segmentation methods in terms of generalization and *** implementation code and segmentation maps will be publicly at https://***/taozh2017/Efanet.

Different Acupuncture Therapies for Postherpetic Neuralgia:An Overview of Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis

Background: Postherpetic neuralgia(PHN) is the most common complication of herpes zoster infection and affects patients' quality of life. Acupuncture therapy is regarded as a competitive method of treatment for analgesia. Objective: To summarize evidence from systematic reviews(SRs) and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different acupuncture therapies for treating PHN. Methods: Eight electronic databases were searched from their inception to August 5, 2022, including 4 international electronic databases(PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science) and 4 Chinese databases(Chinese Biomedical Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP Database and Wanfang Database).Methodological quality was assessed by A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews 2(AMSTAR 2).The Risk of Bias in Systematic Review(ROBIS) tool was used to assess the risk of bias in SRs. Evidence level was assessed by the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation(GRADE)approach. Results: Totally, 7 SRs were included, including 128 studies and 9,792 patients. In AMSTAR 2, most of the SRs were of low or critically low levels since they had more than 1 critical deficiency. In ROBIS, 1 SR(14.29%)was rated as high risk, and the other 6(85.71%) were rated as low risk. In the GRADE system, 9 outcomes(28.13%)were valued as high level, 5(15.63%) as moderate level, 1(3.13%) as low, and 17(53.13%) as very low. In the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy, the group "moxibustion vs. original medical treatment" [mean difference(MD)=–1.44, 95% confidence interval(CI): –1.80 to –1.08, I2=99%, P<0.00001] was of the highest heterogeneity and the group "bloodletting vs. original medical treatment"(MD=–2.80, 95% CI: –3.14 to –2.46, I2=0, P<0.00001)was of the lowest heterogeneity. HUST-CRA: A New Atmospheric De-Aliasing Model for Satellite Gravimetry

Atmospheric de-aliasing is one of the most important background models for recovering Earth's temporal gravity field from gravity satellite missions. To meet the needs of China's gravimetric satellite platform, an independent atmospheric dealiasing model that relies on Chinese meteorological data needs to be developed. The release of CRA-40, as the firstgeneration Chinese atmospheric reanalysis, provides the opportunity. This study proposes a revised modeling method to calibrate CRA-40 and develops a new atmospheric de-aliasing model (HUST-CRA, 2002-20). Intensive assessments are made between HUST-CRA and the latest official de-aliasing product of the international gravity satellite mission. The tidal components of the two products demonstrate high consistency, e.g., the spatial correlation for the major tide S-1 is 0.96. The non-tidal components of the two products are also equivalent: (1) the temporal correlation of low-degree terms is higher than 0.97, except for the term of S-22 (0.93);(2) the spectral correlation of degree geoid height up to degree/order 100 is as high as 0.99;(3) the confidence interval of the spatial correlation (2002-20) is [0.971, 0.995] at a confidence level of 95%;and (4) the difference in KBRR (K-band range rate) residuals is less than 0.08 mu m s(-1), the difference in the derived temporal gravity field is less than 0.32 mm in terms of geoid height, and both are apparently beyond the ability of the current gravity satellite mission. This confirms that CRA-40 is of high quality and that the derived de-aliasing product, HUST-CRA, is accurate enough to be used in both Chinese and international gravity satellite missions.
