To develop a new type of non-oxidant electron acceptors for water oxidation, 3-（methyl）phenyl-（3,5- dimethyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl）methanone modified silica（SiO2@py） was synthesized and used as host to Co4O4 cubane forming nanoparticles（SiO2@pyCo4）. In the presence of Ru（bpy）3^2＋ and under the irradiation of white LED（light emitting diode） light（10 W）, SiO2@pyCo4 can catalyze water oxidation without extra electron acceptor（e.g., Na2S2O8） Moreover, the turnover frequency（TOF） value of SiO2@pyCo4 is larger than that of Co4O4 cubane under the same conditions, and the longer lasting time of SiO2@pyCo4 indicates that SiO2@py can enhance the stability of Co4O4 in water. Our results provide an economic route to develop dioxygen evolution systems based on the assembly of organic electron acceptor modified silica with active cobalt complexes.

Objective： To assess the diagnostic efficiency of OMOM capsule endoscopy （CE） in a group of patients with different indications. Methods： Data from 89 consecutive patients （49 males, 40 females） with suspected small bowel disease who underwent OMOM CE （Jinshan Science and Technology Company, review. The patients＇ indications of the disease consisted of the Chongqing, China） examination were obtained by retrospective following： obscure gastrointestinal bleeding （OGIB）, abdominal pain or diarrhea, partial intestinal obstruction, suspected inflammatory bowel disease, tumor of unknown origin, hypoproteinemia, constipation, weight loss, and elevated tumor markers. Results： CE failed in one patient. Visualization of the entire small bowel was achieved in 75.0%. Capsules were naturally excreted by all patients. The detection rate of abnormalities was 70.5% for patients with suspected small bowel disease, and the diagnostic yield for patients with OGIB was higher than that for patients with abdominal pain or diarrhea （85.7% vs 53.3%, P〈0.005）. Angiodysplasia was the most common small bowel finding. Active bleeding sites were noted in the small intestine in 11 cases. Conclusion： OMOM CE is a useful diagnostic tool for the diagnosis of variably suspected small bowel disease, whose diagnostic efficiency is similar to that of the Pillcam SB （small bowel） CE （Given Imaging, Yoqneam, Israel）.

Poly（1-alkyne） with octoxy spacer —{[HC=C（CH2）8O—terphenyl—CN]}n—（PA8CN） and terphenyl liquid crystalline pendant was synthesized,and the effects of structure on the optical properties,especially the liquid crystallinity behavior of the polymer and monomer were *** monomer was prepared in high yields（92.30%） by coupling and etherification reactions and successfully polymerized in the presence of Rh catalyst and Et3N cocatalyst in high yields with trans-rich（86.27%） stereoregular *** to the monomer showing mixed monolayer structure,its corresponding polymer PA8CN formed homogeneous monolayer *** photoexcitation,strong blue emission peak of PA8CN appeared at 413 nm[fluorescence quantum yield,ΦF = 68% when excited at 330 nm in tetrahydrofuran（THF） solution].Compared with its solid film photoexcitated at 330 nm at room temperature,the UV light-emitting band of PA8CN solid film from its liquid crystalline with liquid nitrogen quenched rapidly at 236 ℃ was red-shift 10 nm with higher intensity,which may be ascribed to the fact that the effectual conjugation and the order degree of the molecule in the liquid crystalline state of the polymer were enhanced,the energy loss caused by the thermal vibration was decreased,thus resulting in the observed hyperchromic effect.

The tyrosine metabolism pathway serves as a starting point for the production of a variety of structurally diverse natural compounds in plants,such as tocopherols,plastoquinone,ubiquinone,betalains,salidroside,benzylisoquinoline alkaloids,and so *** these,tyrosine-derived metabolites,tocopherols,plastoquinone,and ubiquinone are essential to plant *** addition,this pathway provides us essential micronutrients(e.g.,vitamin E and ubiquinone)and medicine(e.g.,morphine,salidroside,and salvianolic acid B).However,our knowledge of the plant tyrosine metabolism pathway remains rudimentary,and genes encoding the pathway enzymes have not been fully *** this review,we summarize and discuss recent advances in the tyrosine metabolism pathway,key enzymes,and important tyrosine-derived metabolites in plants.

The title compound, 2-（ 4-fluorophenyl ） -2-oxo-1-（ 1H-1, 2,4-triazol-1-yl ） ethyl morpholine-4-carbodithioate, was synthesized and its structure was confirmed by means of IR, MS, 1 H NMR and elemental analysis. The single crystal structure of the title compound was determined by X-ray diffraction. The preliminary biological test showed that the synthesized compound possesses some biological activities.

The formation of protective rust layer of atmospheric corrosion resistance was discussed for weathering steel. The rust layers of experimental steels were made by using an accelerating industrial atmospheric corrosion test of dry-wet cyclic immersion. Furthermore XRD were used to measure and analyze the rust layers. The initial corrosion processes below thin water film were observed and the changes of micro-area pH value were measured. The results are as follows： The corrosion processes of P-RE weathering steel are obviously different from those of carbon steel. The surface of P-RE weathering steel rapidly forms a-FeOOH and the micro-area pH value is above 5.4 during the initial corrosion period. While the component of the rust layer for the carbon steel is mainly Fe3O4 and the microarea pH value is below 3.8.

Plastic scintillators(PSs)embedded with wavelength-shifting fibers are widely used in high-energy particle physics,such as in muon taggers,as well as in medical physics and other *** this study,a simulation package was built to evaluate the effects of the diameter and layout of optical fibers on the light yield with different *** optimal optical configuration was designed based on simulations and validated using two PS prototypes under certain experimental condi-tions.A top veto tracker(TVT)for the JUNO-TAO experiment,comprising four layers of 160 strips of PS,was designed and *** threshold was evaluated when the muon tagging efficiency of a PS strip was>99%.The efficiency of three layer out of four layer of TVT is>99%,even with a tagging efficiency of a single strip as low as 97%,using a threshold of 10 photoelectrons and assuming a 40%silicon PM photon detection efficiency.

Dear Editor,The selection of linkers and payloads plays a crucial role in determining the therapeutic indices of antibody–drug conjugates(ADCs).1 Valine–citrulline(Val–Cit)coupled with a self-immolativeρ-aminobenzyl(PAB)spacer as a cleavable dipeptide linker,designated as“VC linker”in this letter,has been popularly used in ADC conjugation.1 However,VC linker is highly hydrophobic2 and,together with hydrophobic payloads at high DARs(drug-toantibody ratios),may turn ADC molecules that have hydrophilic parts in their antibody portions,into aggregation-prone“surfactant-like”structures.
