Recently, applications of real-time polling service (rtPS) in IEEE 802.16 wireless networks have gained considerable popularity. These applications generate large amounts of real time traffic in the network and thus maintaining the quality of service (QoS) such as packet delay requirement in rtPS dominant networks is critical. Existing dimensioning methodology does not consider QoS parameters of rtPS in network dimensioning. Moreover, exhaustive and time-consuming simulations are required to evaluate the performance and QoS of rtPS. To overcome this problem, we propose an improved radio network dimensioning framework which considers QoS parameters of rtPS in network dimensioning. In this framework, an analytical model is developed to evaluate the capacity and performance of rtPS in IEEE 802.16 wireless networks. The proposed framework provides a fast and accurate means of finding the trade-off between system load and packet delay, thus providing network operators with an analytical tool that jointly considers coverage, capacity and QoS requirements for obtaining the minimum number of sites required. The accuracy of the proposed model is validated through simulations.

Two-terminal(2-T)perovskite(PVK)/CuIn(Ga)Se_(2)(CIGS)tandem solar cells(TSCs)have been considered as an ideal tandem cell because of their best bandgap matching regarding to Shockley–Queisser(S–Q)***,the nature of the irregular rough morphology of commercial CIGS prevents people from improving tandem device *** this paper,D-homoserine lactone hydrochloride is proven to improve coverage of PVK materials on irregular rough CIGS surfaces and also passivate bulk defects by modulating the growth of PVK *** addition,the minority carriers near the PVK/C60 interface and the incompletely passivated trap states caused interface recombination.A surface reconstruction with 2-thiopheneethylammonium iodide and N,N-dimethylformamide assisted passivates the defect sites located at the surface and grain ***,LiF is used to create this field effect,repelling hole carriers away from the PVK and C60 interface and thus reducing *** a result,a 2-T PVK/CIGS tandem yielded a power conversion efficiency of 24.6%(0.16 cm^(2)),one of the highest results for 2-T PVK/CIGS TSCs to our *** validation underscores the potential of our methodology in achieving superior performance in PVK/CIGS tandem solar cells.

The three-dimensional numerical manifold method(3D-NMM),which is based on the derivation of Galerkin's variation,is a powerful calculation tool that uses two cover *** 3D-NMM can be used to handle continue-discontinue problems and extend to THM *** this study,we extended the 3D-NMM to simulate both steady-state and transient heat conduction *** modelling was carried out using the raster methods(RSM).For the system equation,a variational method was employed to drive the discrete equations,and the crucial boundary conditions were solved using the penalty *** solve the boundary integral problem,the face integral of scalar fields and two-dimensional simplex integration were used to accurately describe the integral on polygonal *** numerical examples were used to verify the results of 3D steady-state and transient heat-conduction *** numerical results indicated that the 3D-NMM is effective for handling 3D both steadystate and transient heat conduction problems with high solution accuracy.

Water-rich slope,which could easily fail after prolonged or heavy rain,is very sensitive to *** Landslide is a typical water-rich slope located in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of *** was unstable because of the continuous rainfall that occurred from September to October *** understand the deformation process and genetic mechanism of the landslide,the geomorphological features,geological characteristics,hydrological conditions,and rainfall characteristics were systematically studied by a detailed field investigation of the slope and monitoring of rainfall,water level,and *** addition,the influence of different initial conditions on the stability of the slope was also studied through numerical simulation using measured rainfall data on the basis of which,the effect of antecedent rainfall on slope stability was studied by unsaturated seepage analysis *** results show that the deformation of slope is strongly correlated with the rainfall and groundwater level,and this landslide is a typical rainfall-induced *** the analysis of genetic mechanism of the same type of landslide,a maximum initial pore water pressure of -25 kPa as the initial condition is *** the antecedent rainfall has a greater effect on the stability of the slope,more than 10 days of antecedent rainfall should be considered when designing and controling the slope.

To study the effect of jasmonates(JAs)on the resistance of economic forest plants to insects,R osa rugosa‘Plena'leaves were treated with 1 mmol/L jasmonic acid(JA),methyl jasmonate(MeJA)and Z-jasmone,then the content of tannin and total phenol in leaves and the feeding area of Monolepta hieroglyphica adults on leaves were *** in the activities of detoxification enzymes in adult *** that had fed on leaves treated with JAs were also *** and total phenol levels in leaves increased significantly after treatment with JAs,and tannin level was 1.36–1.55-fold higher than in the control after treatment with 1 mmol/L *** total content of phenol in leaves treated with 1.0 mmol/L Z-jasmone increased by 1.33–2.20-fold compared with those of the *** activities of detoxification enzymes in adults were inhibited to differing degrees:activity of alkaline phosphatase(AKP)first increased,then decreased;the activities of acid phosphatase(ACP),glutathione S-transferases(GSTs)and carboxylesterase(CarE)following treatment with 1 mmol/L MeJA were significantly reduced and were 22%–31%,11%–26%,and 11%–31%lower than those of the control,***,the feeding area of adult *** on the leaves treated with JAs was significantly reduced(Ptannin and positively correlated with the contents of total phenol of economic forest ***‘Plena'*** reduced feeding area of adult *** was highly negatively correlated with the activities of AKP and ACP and negatively correlated with those of the *** conclusion,the use of 1 mmol/L MeJA can noticeably decrease the deleterious effects of adult ***.

As a calculation method based on the Galerkin variation,the numerical manifold method(NMM)adopts a double covering system,which can easily deal with discontinuous deformation problems and has a high calculation *** at the thermo-mechanical(TM)coupling problem of fractured rock masses,this study uses the NMM to simulate the processes of crack initiation and propagation in a rock mass under the influence of temperature field,deduces related system equations,and proposes a penalty function method to deal with boundary *** examples are employed to confirm the effectiveness and high accuracy of this *** the thermal stress analysis of a thick-walled cylinder(TWC),the simulation of cracking in the TWC under heating and cooling conditions,and the simulation of thermal cracking of the SwedishÄspöPillar Stability Experiment(APSE)rock column,the thermal stress,and TM coupling are *** numerical simulation results are in good agreement with the test data and other numerical results,thus verifying the effectiveness of the NMM in dealing with thermal stress and crack propagation problems of fractured rock masses.

In this study, microstructure and texture evolution of TB8 titanium alloys during hot deformation were investigated by using electron back-scattered diffraction(EBSD) analysis. The results showed that dynamic recrystallization(DRX) behavior of TB8 titanium alloys was drastically sensitive to the strain. As the true strain raised from 0.2 to 0.8, the degree of DRX gradually increased. The nucleation mechanism of recrystallization was observed, including discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX) resulting from the bulging of original boundaries. Furthermore, continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX) occurred because of the transformation of low-angle grain boundaries(LAGBs) to high-angle grain boundaries(HAGBs) in the interior of the original deformed grains. The texture evolution of TB8 titanium alloy during hot deformation process was analyzed in detail, and five texture components were observed,including{001}h100 i,{011}h100 i,{112}h110 i,{111}h110 i, and {111}h112 i. As the true strain increased,deformation textures were gradually weakened due to an increase in the volume fraction of DRX grains. When the true strain was 0.8, the main texture components consisted of the recrystallization texture components of the{001}h100 i and {011}h100 i textures.
