Enhancement of low-temperature toughness of Fe-Mn-C-Al alloy by rare earth Ce-modified inclusions

Fe-Mn-C-Al alloys have been recognized as promising materials for certain low-temperature applications due to their exceptional mechanical properties and cost-effectiveness.However,their limited low-temperature toughness restricts their large-scale applications in specific scenarios.The influence of trace amounts of rare earth cerium(Ce)on the low-temperature toughness of Fe-18Mn-0.6C-1.8Al alloys was investigated.The addition of Ce effectively alters the inclu-sions in the alloy,transforming large-sized irregular inclusions into fine ellipsoidal rare earth inclusions.This leads to a significant reduction in both the proportion and average size of the inclusions,resulting in their effective dispersion throughout the matrix and improved cryogenic performance.The presence of Ce-containing inclusions within the matrix reduces stress concentration,thereby inhibiting microcrack formation and improving impact absorption energy.Specifi-cally,the addition of rare earth Ce alters the fracture behavior of the material at room temperature and low temperature,changing from brittle cleavage fracture to a more ductile failure mode.The impact toughness of the Fe-Mn-C-Al alloy is significantly improved by the addition of 0.0048 wt.%Ce,particularly at-196℃where the impact toughness reaches 103.6 J/cm^(2),representing an impressive improvement of 87.3%.

Spontaneous time-reversal symmetry breaking plays an important role in studying strongly correlated unconventional superconductors.When two superconducting gap functions with different symmetries compete,the relative phase channel(θ_(-)≡θ_(1)-θ_(2))exhibits an Ising-type Z_(2) symmetry due to the second order Josephson coupling,where θ_(1,2) are the phases of two gap functions.In contrast,the U(1) symmetry in the channel of θ_(+)≡(θ_(1)+θ_(2))/2 is intact.The phase locking,i.e.,ordering of θ_(-),can take place in the phase fluctuation regime before the onset of superconductivity,i.e.,when θ_(+) is disordered.If θ_(-) is pinned at ±π/2,then timereversal symmetry is broken in the normal state,otherwise,if θ_(-)=0,or,π,rotational symmetry is broken,leading to a nematic normal state.In both cases,the order parameters possess a 4-fermion structure beyond the scope of mean-field theory,which can be viewed as a high order symmetry breaking.We employ an effective two-component XY-model assisted by a renormalization group analysis to address this problem.As a natural by-product,we also find the other interesting intermediate phase corresponds to ordering of θ_+ but with θ_(-)disordered.This is the quartetting,or,charge-4e,superconductivity,which occurs above the low temperature Z_(2)-breaking charge-2e superconducting phase.Our results provide useful guidance for studying novel symmetry breaking phases in strongly correlated superconductors.

Interstitial pneumonia combined with nocardia cyriacigeorgica infection:A case report

BACKGROUND Nocardia infection is a relatively uncommon disease,with no reports among patients with interstitial pneumonia.Due to its atypical clinical symptoms and chest computed tomography(CT)findings and the frequent yielding of negative results by conventional cultures,it poses challenges for timely diagnosis and treatment.CASE SUMMARY A 63-year-old female patient presented to our hospital in July 2022 with a 3-mo history of intermittent cough and poor appetite,accompanied by a 2-wk long duration of headaches.She had a previous medical history of interstitial pneumonia and was on oral prednisone and cyclosporine.Chest CT revealed the presence of newly developed round nodules.The diagnosis of Nocardia cyriacigeorgica infection was confirmed through metagenomic next-generation sequencing(mNGS)performed on bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.Targeted antiinfection therapy was initiated,resulting in symptom improvement and radiological resolution,further validating the mNGS results.CONCLUSION Nocardia cyriacigeorgica infection is a clinically rare condition that is primarily observed in immunocompromised patients.Its clinical and radiological manifestations lack specificity,but mNGS can aid in rapidly obtaining pathogenic information.Early initiation of targeted antimicrobial therapy based on mNGS results can improve patient prognosis.

恶是现代以来德国哲学传统的关键概念。康德提出的“根本恶”为人性奠定了抽象普遍的基调,涉及先验哲学框架内人性的可能性与限度,恶的神学意涵被淡化。20世纪下半叶到21世纪初,两次世界大战对西方文明的摧毁,集中营等极端事件引发了对人性的重新思考。法国哲学以自由与介入的独特思想特质,回应并发展了德国哲学传统中恶的概念,在后现代思潮的影响下赋予了恶的概念无法言说、无法理解的特质。恶的概念在法国自身的历史语境与地理空间中,在与德国哲学的互动中,不断流变甚至被彻底打破。恶的历史语义在理论与实践中发生了根本改变,却在美学领域与具体的文艺实践中以悖论方式得以重新言说和表述。因此法国语境下恶的概念的特质,还在于其中蕴含的救赎的可能性。

Acute primary angle closure during the Omicron outbreak

AIM:To investigate Omicron’s impact on clinical presentation of acute primary angle closure(APAC)in China.METHODS:A consecutive case series with historical controls was conducted at Shenzhen Eye Hospital,the largest specialized hospital in Shenzhen,China.Medical records from a two-month period during the Omicron pandemic(December 1,2022,to January 31,2023)were compared with records from two control groups(12/2018–1/2019 and 12/2021–1/2022)before pandemic.Patients with APAC were included,and the prevalence of APAC and demographic characteristics in Omicron-infected and noninfected patients were compared.RESULTS:Seventy-one(23.43%)out of 303 patients were diagnosed with APAC in the pandemic cohort,which was 2.98 and 2.61 times higher than that in control cohorts(7.87%in 2019,8.96%in 2022,P<0.001).The pandemic cohort has significantly higher Omicron-infected rate(78.87%vs 0 vs 0;P<0.001),lower proportion of glaucoma history(16.90%vs 42.86%vs 41.67%,P=0.005),higher surgical rate(95.77%vs 83.33%vs 78.57%,P=0.024),higher total medical costs and larger pupil diameter(5.63±0.15 vs 4.68±0.15 vs 4.69±0.22 mm,P<0.01).In 83%Omicron-infected patients,ocular symptoms appeared within 3d after systemic symptoms onset.In multivariate analysis,Omicron infection(P<0.001)was the only independent predictor of pupil diameter.CONCLUSION:In the Omicron epidemic in China,there is an increase of prevalence and severity of APAC,particularly focusing on the first 3d following infection.

Analysis of system trustworthiness based on information flow noninterference theory

The trustworthiness analysis and evaluation are the bases of the trust chain transfer. In this paper the formal method of trustworthiness analysis of a system based on the noninterfer- ence （NI） theory of the information flow is studied. Firstly, existing methods cannot analyze the impact of the system states on the trustworthiness of software during the process of trust chain trans- fer. To solve this problem, the impact of the system state on trust- worthiness of software is investigated, the run-time mutual interfer- ence behavior of software entitles is described and an interference model of the access control automaton of a system is established. Secondly, based on the intransitive noninterference （INI） theory, a formal analytic method of trustworthiness for trust chain transfer is proposed, providing a theoretical basis for the analysis of dynamic trustworthiness of software during the trust chain transfer process. Thirdly, a prototype system with dynamic trustworthiness on a plat- form with dual core architecture is constructed and a verification algorithm of the system trustworthiness is provided. Finally, the monitor hypothesis is extended to the dynamic monitor hypothe- sis, a theorem of static judgment rule of system trustworthiness is provided, which is useful to prove dynamic trustworthiness of a system at the beginning of system construction. Compared with previous work in this field, this research proposes not only a formal analytic method for the determination of system trustworthiness, but also a modeling method and an analysis algorithm that are feasible for practical implementation.

Monitoring time property in time-sensitive LSC

In order to accurately describe the software require- ments and automatically extract property formulas, the time prop- erty of the live sequence chart （LSC） is focused. For the time- sensitive LSC （TLSC）, the formal syntax and semantic are defined by introducing the formal definitions of clock and timing constraints. The main function of the TLSC is to extract the temporal logic formula, so basic rules and combination rules are proposed to translate the TLSC into the universal fragment of computation tree logic （CTL） formula. To improve the efficiency of model check, transitivity is also used to optimize the formula. The optimization method could reduce the size of the formula under the condition of equivalence. Finally, a case study is introduced to illustrate how to establish the TLSC of requirements. In terms of the proposed transformation rules, the time property formula is extracted from the TLSC, and the design model is assured which is consistent with the property formula. The results show that the method with respect to the automatic extraction of the logic formula from the TLSC can efficiently monitor the time property of software systems.

Fine-Grained Binary Analysis Method for Privacy Leakage Detection on the Cloud Platform

Nowadays cloud architecture is widely applied on the internet.New malware aiming at the privacy data stealing or crypto currency mining is threatening the security of cloud platforms.In view of the problems with existing application behavior monitoring methods such as coarse-grained analysis,high performance overhead and lack of applicability,this paper proposes a new fine-grained binary program monitoring and analysis method based on multiple system level components,which is used to detect the possible privacy leakage of applications installed on cloud platforms.It can be used online in cloud platform environments for fine-grained automated analysis of target programs,ensuring the stability and continuity of program execution.We combine the external interception and internal instrumentation and design a variety of optimization schemes to further reduce the impact of fine-grained analysis on the performance of target programs,enabling it to be employed in actual environments.The experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible and can achieve the acceptable analysis performance while consuming a small amount of system resources.The optimization schemes can go beyond traditional dynamic instrumentation methods with better analytical performance and can be more applicable to online analysis on cloud platforms.

Self-adaptive learning based discrete differential evolution algorithm for solving CJWTA problem

Cooperative jamming weapon-target assignment （CJWTA） problem is a key issue in electronic countermeasures （ECM）. Some symbols which relevant to the CJWTA are defined firstly. Then, a formulation of jamming fitness is presented. Final y, a model of the CJWTA problem is constructed. In order to solve the CJWTA problem efficiently, a self-adaptive learning based discrete differential evolution （SLDDE） algorithm is proposed by introduc-ing a self-adaptive learning mechanism into the traditional discrete differential evolution algorithm. The SLDDE algorithm steers four candidate solution generation strategies simultaneously in the framework of the self-adaptive learning mechanism. Computa-tional simulations are conducted on ten test instances of CJWTA problem. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed SLDDE algorithm not only can generate better results than only one strategy based discrete differential algorithms, but also outper-forms two algorithms which are proposed recently for the weapon-target assignment problems.
