Boosted by economic development and rising living standards,the world's carbon dioxide emissions remain *** temperature rises below 1.5℃ by the end of the century requires rapid global carbon capture and storage *** successful application of carbon capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS)technology in oilfields has become the key to getting rid of this *** flooding,as an organic combination of gas and chemical flooding,became popular in the *** the irreplaceable advantages,as a thermodynamically unstable system,foam's stability has long restricted its development in enhanced oil and gas *** special surface/interface effects and small-size effects,nanoparticles can be used as foam stabilizers to enhance foam stability,thereby improving foam seepage and oil displacement effects in porous *** this paper,the decay kinetics and the stabilization mechanisms of nanoparticle-reinforced foams were systematically *** effects of nanoparticle characteristics,including particle concentration,surface wettability,particle size,and type,and reservoir environment factors,including oil,temperature,pressure,and salinity on the foam stabilization ability were analyzed in *** seepage and flooding mechanisms of nanoparticle-reinforced foams were summarized as:improving the plugging properties of foams,enhancing the interaction between foams and crude oil,and synergistically adjusting the wettability of reservoir ***,the challenges in the practical application of nanoparticle-reinforced foams were highlighted,and the development direction was *** development of nanoparticle-reinforced foam can open the way toward adaptive and evolutive EOR technology,taking one further step towards the high-efficiency production of the petroleum industry.

Recurrent event data are commonly encountered in many scientific fields,including biomedical studies,clinical trials and epidemiological surveys,and many statistical methods have been proposed for their *** this paper,we consider to use a weighted composite endpoint of recurrent and terminal events,which is weighted by the severity of each event,to assess the overall effects of covariates on the two types of events.A flexible additive-multiplicative model incorporating both multiplicative and additive effects on the rate function is proposed to analyze such weighted composite event process,and more importantly,the dependence structure among the recurrent and terminal events is left *** the estimation,we construct the unbiased estimating equations by virtue of the inverse probability weighting technique,and the resulting estimators are shown to be consistent and asymptotically normal under some mild regularity *** evaluate the finite-sample performance of the proposed method via simulation studies and apply the proposed method to a set of real data arising from a bladder cancer study.

The polymeric surfactant can be used as an efficient agent for enhanced oil recovery(EOR)because of its large bulk viscosity and good interfacial ***,there is a sparse understanding of its matching relationship with reservoirs and emulsification occurrence conditions,which may affect its migration and EOR *** intermolecular association molecule polymeric surfactant(IAM)was synthesized by micellar polymerization and characterized with 1 H NMR,FTIR,and *** matching relationship between IAM and reservoirs was evaluated by comparing the viscosity retention rate of effluent in the core flow ***,the effect of the matching relationship on EOR in the heterogeneous reservoir was clarified with parallel core displacement experiments by considering different flow abilities of IAM in the high-permeability *** occurrence conditions of in-situ emulsification of IAM were evaluated via oil-water co-injection experiments under the different injection rates and oil-water *** visualization displacement was carried out to compare the micro EOR mechanisms of different chemical *** results show that IAM features thickening,shearing resistance,viscoelasticity,thermal stability,and interfacial *** matching relationship between cores and IAM could be divided as hardly injected,flow limited,and flow smoothly,corresponding to the viscosity retention ratio of80%,*** could gain better EOR efficiency(17.69%)when its matching relationship to the high permeability layer was“flow limited”.The defined mixture capillary number shows that only when it is greater than 1×10^(3),the in-situ emulsions can be *** to HPAM,IAM could reduce IFT and form vortices to more effectively displace film and corner remaining oils by stripping and peeling off crude *** formed emulsion accumulated at the pore throat could further increase flow resistance,which benefits swept area enlargemen

With advancements in mobile communication technologies, there have been multiple user device(UD) connections to cellular networks. Because of changes in the spatial distribution of UDs and application requirements, the traditional offloading mechanism based on the nearest distance will result in heavy loads for some base stations(BSs). Because there is a high-order relationship between the energy consumption of the BS processing tasks and the number of computing tasks, the traditional offloading mechanism will result in high energy consumption, and UD’s offloading decision must be dynamically adjusted. The offloading decision of UDs is optimized based on detailed information about various parameters associated with a network from the standpoint of distribution. This information includes details regarding the spatial distribution of UDs,application requirements, and the offloading period of computing tasks. Based on optimal transport theory,an energy consumption optimization algorithm is suggested to lower the total amount of energy consumed by the offloading process of UDs’ computing tasks by reasonably planning the offloading BSs of the UDs in the networks. The simulation results show that the proposed offloading mechanism based on energy consumption optimization reduces the total energy consumption of the offloading process by 28.09% when compared to the traditional offloading mechanism, and the traffic managed by each BS is balanced.

Steam flooding is a widely used technique to enhance oil recovery of heavy *** viscosity reduction and distillation effect are considered as two main displacement mechanisms in steam flooding ***,the molecular composition understanding and contribution for oil production are still *** this study,the composition analysis of the heavy oil was investigated in the core scale steam flooding process with the temperature from 120 to 280℃.The crude oil,produced oils and residual oils were characterized comprehensively by gas chromatography and high-resolution mass *** is found that steam flooding preferentially extracts aromatics and remains more resins in the residual *** reduction is the dominant mechanism when steam is injected at a low *** molecular heteroatoms with high carbon number and high double bond equivalent(DBE)are eluted into the produced oil,while compounds with low carbon number and low DBE are remained in the residual *** the steam temperature rises,the increased distillation effect results in the extraction of light hydrocarbons from the residual oil to the produced *** small heteroatoms with low carbon number and low DBE enter into the produced oil,especially in the none water cut *** compositional difference of produced oils is characterized in DBE versus carbon number distribution of the N and O containing compound *** work uses a variety of composition analysis methods to clarify the steam flooding mechanism and provides a novel understanding of steam flooding mechanisms with various temperatures and production stages from the molecular perspective.

The efficiency of the aircraft Ice Protection Systems(IPSs)needs to be verified through icing wind tunnel ***,the scaling method for testing the IPSs has not been systematically established yet,and further research is *** the present study,a scaling method specifically designed for thermal IPSs was derived from the governing equation of thin water *** scaling parameters were adopted to address the heat and mass transfer involved in the thermal anti-icing *** method validation,icing wind tunnel tests were conducted using a jet engine nacelle model equipped with a bleed air *** non-dimensional surface temperature and runback ice closely matched for both the reference and scaled *** validation confirms that the scaling method is capable of achieving the similarity of surface temperature and the runback ice *** anti-icing scaling method can serve as an important supplement to the existing icing similarity theory.

M-N-C(M=Fe,Co,Ni,etc.) catalyst owns high catalytic activity in the oxygen catalytic reaction which is the most likely to replace the Pt-based *** it is still a challenge to further increase the active site *** article constructs the high-efficiency FeMn-N/S-C-1000 catalyst to realize ORR/OER bifunctional catalysis by hetero-atom,bimetal(Fe,Mn) doped simultaneously *** evaluated it as bi-functional electro-catalysts,FeMn-N/S-C-1000 exhibits excellent catalytic activity(E_(1/2)=0.924 V,E_(j=10)=1.617 V) in alkaline media,outperforms conventional Pt/C,RuO_(2) and most non-precious-metal catalysts reported recently,Such outstanding performance is owing to N,S co-coordinated with metal to form multi-types of single atom,dual atom active sites to carry out ***,nitrite poison test provides the proof that the active sites of FeMn-N/S-C are more than that of single-atom catalysts to promote catalytic reactions *** better understand the local structure of Fe and Mn active sites,XAS and DFT were employed to reveal that FeMn-N_5/S-C site plays the key role during ***,the FeMn-N/S-C-1000 based low-temperature rechargeable flexible Zn-air also exhibits superior discharge performance and extraordinary durability at-40℃.This work will provide a new idea to design diatomic catalysts applied in low-temperature rechargeable batteries.
