Superhydrophilic nickel hydroxide ultrathin nanosheets enable high-performance asymmetric supercapacitors

Superhydrophilic surfaces have been applied for supercapacitor;however,during energy storage reaction,how the wettability affects the process of electrochemical reaction specifically is still ***,we demonstrate superhydrophilic surface for promotion of electrochemical reactions by liquid affinity and further explain the mechanism,where the transition of the wettability state caused by the change in surface free energy is the main reason for the obvious increase in specific *** citric acid assistance strategy,an intrinsically hydrophobic Ni(OH)_(2)thick nanosheets(HNHTNs,16 nm)can be transitioned into superhydrophilic Ni(OH)_(2)ultrathin nanosheets(SNHUNs,6.8 nm),where the water contact angle was 0°and the surface free energy increased from 8.6to 65.8 mN·m^(-1),implying *** with HNHTNs,the specific capacitance of SNHUNs is doubled:from 1230 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 2350 F·g^(-1)(2A·g^(-1))and,even at 20 A·g^(-1),from 833 F·g^(-1)(HNHTNs)to 1670 F·g^(-1).The asymmetric capacitors assembled by SNHUNs and activated carbon show 52.44 Wh·kg^(-1)at 160W·kg^(-1)and excellent stability with~90%retention after5000 cycles(~80%retention after 9500 cycles).The promotion of electrochemical performances is ascribed to the change of surface wettability caused by surface free energy,which greatly increase affinity of electrode to the surrounding liquid environment to reduce the interface resistance and optimize the electron transport path.

Optimization study of spherical tuyere based on BP neural network and new evaluation index

The energy consumption of heating,ventilation,and air conditioning(HVAC)systems holds a significant position in building energy usage,accounting for about 65%of the total energy ***,with the advancement of building automation,the energy consumption of ventilation systems continues to *** study focuses on improving the performance of spherical tuyeres in HVAC *** primarily utilizes neural networks and multi-island genetic algorithms(MIGA)for multi-parameter *** employing methods such as structural parameterization,accurate and fast computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulations,a minimized sample space,and a rational optimization strategy,the time cycle of the optimization process is ***,a new comprehensive evaluation index is proposed in this research to describe the performance of spherical tuyeres,which can be used to more accurately assess spherical tuyeres with different *** results show that by establishing a neural network prediction model and combining it with the multi-island genetic algorithm,a novel spherical tuyere design was successfully *** optimized novel spherical tuyeres achieved a 27.05%reduction in the spherical tuyeres effective index(STEI)compared to the traditional spherical ***,the resistance decreased by 15.68%,and the jet length increased by 7.57%.The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed optimization method exhibits high accuracy,good generalization capability,and excellent agreement at different Reynolds numbers.

Strain-tunable electronic and optical properties of h-BN/BC_(3)heterostructure with enhanced electron mobility

By using first-principles calculation,we study the properties of h-BN/BC_(3)heterostructure and the effects of external electric fields and strains on its electronic and optical *** is found that the semiconducting h-BN/BC_(3)has good dynamical stability and ultrahigh stiffness,enhanced electron mobility,and well-preserved electronic band structure as the BC_(3)***,its electronic band structure is slightly modified by an external electric *** contrast,applying an external strain can mildly modulate the electronic band structure of h-BN/BC_(3)and the optical property exhibits an apparent redshift under a compressive strain relative to the pristine *** findings show that the h-BN/BC_(3)hybrid can be designed as optoelectronic device with moderately strain-tunable electronic and optical properties.

Enhanced thermoelectric property and stability of NiCr–NiSi thin film thermocouple on superalloy substrate

Thin film thermocouples（TFTCs） can provide fast and accurate surface temperature measurement with minimal impact on the physical characteristics of the supporting components. In this study, NiCr and NiSi films were prepared with radio frequency（RF） magnetron sputtering and the influences of vacuum annealing on the resistivity of the films were investigated. Afterward, NiCr-NiSi films were deposited on Ni-based superalloy substrates to form TFTCs. The overall dimension of the thermocouple is 64 mm in length, 8 mm in width and 30 lm in thickness. Compared with those of as-deposited sample, the thermoelectric property and stability of the TFTC are significantly improved by vacuum annealing of NiCr and NiSi films. The variation of the Seebeck coefficient of TFTC was discussed based on the size effect of NiCr and NiSi films. And a lower Seebeck coefficient of TFTC of 38.4 μV·℃^-1 is obtained.

Cooperative management of an emission trading system:a private governance and learned auction for a blockchain approach

Although blockchain technology has received a significant amount of cutting-edge research on constructing a novel carbon trade market in theory,there is little research on using blockchain in carbon emission trading schemes(ETS).This study intends to address existing gaps in the literature by creating and simulating an ETS system based on blockchain *** the ciphertext-policy attributed-based encryption algorithm and the Fabric network to build a platform may optimize the amount of data available while maintaining privacy *** the augmentation of information interaction during the auction process brought about by blockchain,the learning behavior of bidding firms is introduced to investigate the impact of blockchain on ETS *** particular,implementing smart contracts can provide a swift and automatic *** simulation results of the proposed system demonstrate the following:(1)fine-grained access is possible with a second delay;(2)the average annual compliance levels increase by 2%when bidders’learning behavior is considered;and(3)the blockchain network can process more than 350 reading operations or 7 writing operations in a *** cooperative management of an ETS platform based on blockchain is *** data access control policy based on CP-ABE is used to solve the contradiction between data privacy on the firm chain and government supervision.A learned auction strategy is proposed to suit the enhancement of information interaction caused by blockchain *** study provides a new method for climate change policymakers to consider the blockchain application of the carbon market.

Investigations of the mechanical response of dummy HTPB propellant grain under ultrahigh acceleration overload conditions using onboard flight-test measurements

In this paper,to study the mechanical responses of a solid propellant subjected to ultrahigh acceleration overload during the gun-launch process,specifically designed projectile flight tests with an onboard measurement system were *** projectiles containing dummy HTPB propellant grains were successfully recovered after the flight tests with an ultrahigh acceleration overload value of 8100 *** onboard-measured time-resolved axial displacement,contact stress and overload values were successfully obtained and *** compression tests of the dummy HTPB propellant used in the gunlaunched tests were carried out at low and intermediate strain rates to characterize the propellant's dynamic properties.A linear viscoelastic constitutive model was employed and applied in finite-element simulations of the projectile-launching *** the launch process,the dummy propellant grain exhibited large deformation due to the high acceleration overload,possibly leading to friction between the motor case and propellant *** calculated contact stress showed good agreement with the experimental results,though discrepancies in the overall displacement of the dummy propellant grain were *** dynamic mechanical response process of the dummy propellant grain was analysed in *** results can be used to estimate the structural integrity of the analysed dummy propellant grain during the gun-launch process.

Sequencing and analysis of the complete mitochondrial genome of the giant dobsonfly Acanthacorydalis orientalis(McLachlan)(Insecta:Megaloptera:Corydalidae)

The complete mitochondrial genome of Acanthacorydalis orientalis （McLachlan） was determined and analyzed （GenBank accession number： KF840564）. This paper represents the first mitochondrial （mt） genome of the dobsonfly genus Acanthacorydalis. The mt genome is a typical circular DNA of 15 753 bp composed of 37 genes with an A＋T content of 76.7%. It has an ancestral gene arrangement of the insect mt genomes. Eleven of the 13 PCGs start with codon ATT and ATG,while several exceptions such as ATA and TTG respectively for atp 8 and nad 1 are also present. Five protein-coding genes end with a single T, while others have a termination codon of TAA or TAG. Most tRNAs are folded into the typical clover-leaf structure except for the trnS 1 whose dihydrouridine arm was a simple loop. The secondary structure of rrnl consists of five structural domains and 50 helices, while the rrns includes three domains and 34 helices. The control region has a stretches of Ts with a length of 22 bp but lacks obvious tandem repeat region. Both Bayesian inference and maximum likelihood （ML） analyses, based on all 13 protein-coding genes and two rRNA genes of the mt genomes, confirm the monophyly of Corydalinae and suggest that Acanthacorydalis, together with Corydalus, which is an endemic dobsonfly genus from the New World, belong to a monophyletic lineage.

Determination of royal jelly freshness by ELISA with a highly specific anti-apalbumin 1,major royal jelly protein 1 antibody

Major royal jelly protein 1（MRJP1）, designated apalbumin 1, has been regarded as a freshness marker of royal jelly（RJ）. A MRJP1-specific peptide（IKEALPHVPIFD） identified by bioinformatics analysis of homologous members of the major royal protein family was synthesized and used to raise polyclonal anti-MRJP1 antibody（antiSP-MRJP1 antibody）. Western blot analysis showed that anti-SP-MRJP1 antibody only reacted with MRJP1 in RJ. In contrast, the previously reported antibody against recombinant MRJP1（anti-R-MRJP1 antibody） reacted with other members of MRJP family in RJ. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay（ELISA） using anti-SP-MRJP1 antibody demonstrated that MRJP1 content in RJ stored at 40 °C significantly degraded by 37.3%, 55.9%, 58.0%, 60.6%, 65.7%, 72.7%, and 73.1% at 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, and 49 d, respectively, when compared with MRJP1 content in fresh RJ（0 d）. Optical density analysis of MRJP bands from sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis（SDS-PAGE） profiles demonstrated that the degradation of MRJP1, MRJP2, MRJP3, and MRJP5 in RJ was strongly and positively correlated with the period of storage（P〈0.0001）. Our results indicated anti-SP-MRJP1 antibody was highly specific for MRJP1, and ELISA using the antibody is a sensitive and easy-to-use method to determine the freshness and authenticity of RJ.

As a material with good biocompatibility,hydroxyapatite(HAP)can have optical properties after doping with various rare earth *** a biocompatible fluorescent material,doped HAP could have broad applications in biological probes,drug delivery,optoelectronic materials,fluorescence anti-counterfeiting,and other *** this paper,we put forward the preparation of HAP doped with terbium(Ⅲ)ions(Tb^(3+))by hydrothermal *** controlling the Tb^(3+)doping content in reaction and the reaction time,the changes in HAP's structure,morphology,and luminescence properties under different conditions were *** the doping amount of Tb^(3+)reached an optimal value,the dipole-quadrupole would occur and the concentration would be *** control experiment showed that the optimal Tb3+content was 7.5×10^(-5)mol,which showed the best fluorescence ***,a non-luminous material,was rarely used in the field of fluorescent anti-counterfeiting and photoelectric *** proposed to prepare a luminescent aramid/polyphenylene sulfide(ACFs/PPS)fiber paper and a new light-emitting diode(LED)using the Tb-doped HAP *** composite sample exhibited an excellent stability and fluorescence performance,which also demonstrated a possibility of HAP applications in anticounterfeiting and *** introduction of Tb3+dopant HAP was done to give HAP optical properties and broaden the application range of HAP.
