Adsorption properties of Ⅴ(Ⅳ) on resin-activated carbon composite electrodes in capacitive deionization

Composite electrodes prepared by cation exchange resins and activated carbon(AC)were used to adsorb Ⅴ(Ⅳ)in capacitive deionization(CDI).The electrode made of middle resin size(D860/AC M)had the largest specific surface area and mesoporous content than two other composite *** analysis showed that D860/AC M presents higher specific capacitance and electrical double layer capacitor than the others,and significantly lower internal diffusion ***,D860/AC M exhibits the highest adsorption capacity and rate of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)among three *** intra-particle diffusion model fits well in the initial adsorption stage,while the liquid film diffusion model is more suitable for fitting at the later *** pseudo-second-order kinetic model is suited for the entire adsorption *** adsorption of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)on the composite electrode follows that of the Freundlich *** analysis indicates that the adsorption of Ⅴ(Ⅳ)is an exothermic process with entropy reduction,and the electric field force plays a dominant role in the CDI *** work aims to improve our understanding of the ion adsorption behaviors and mechanisms on the composite electrodes in CDI.

Separation of vanadium from black shale leaching solution at low pH is very meaningful,which can effectively avoid the generation of alkali neutralization slag and the resulting vanadium *** this study,coordination mechanism of vanadium in acid leaching solution at low pH was investigated with the intervention of chloride *** the conditions of pH 0.8,di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid concentration of 20%,phase ratio of 1:2,and extraction time of 8 min,the vanadium extraction could reach 80.00%.The Fourier transform infrared and electrospray ionization results reveal that,despite the fact that the chloride ion in the leachate could significantly promote vanadium extraction,the chloride ion does not enter the organic phase,indicating an intriguing *** Cl^(-)-V,SO_(4)^(2-)-V,and H_(2)O-V,the V-Cl bond is longer and the potential difference between coordinate ions and vanadium is ***,Vo^(2+)gets easily desorbed with chloride ions and enter the organic *** the same time,the hydrogen ions of di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid also enter the water phase more easily,which reduces the pH required for the extraction reaction.

The ceramics La_(0.85)Cr_(0.15)TiO_(x)and La_(0.7)Cr_(0.3)TiO_(x)are prepared by conventional solid-state reaction *** dielectric properties of Cr-doped La TiO_(x)as a function of frequency(0.1 k Hz≤f≤1 MHz)and temperature(77 K≤T≤360 K)are *** blocks are then annealed in a flowing O2 or Ar/H_(2)to convert their oxygen content and the tests mentioned above are *** highly oxygenated samples exhibit extremely high low-frequency dielectric constants at room temperature(~10^(6)).The results show that the oxygen stoichiometry could significantly influence the dielectric properties of Cr-doped LaTiO_(x).

A novel phenomenon that the localized coherent structures of a (2+1)-dimensional physical model possess fractal behaviors is revealed. To clarify the interesting phenomenon, we take the (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon Pempinelli system as a concrete example. Starting from an extended homogeneous balance approach, a general solution of the system is derived. From which some special localized excitations with fractal behaviors are obtained by introducing some types of lower-dimensional fractal patterns.

Voltage-driven 180°magnetization switching without electric current provides the possibility for revolutionizing the *** demonstrated the voltage-driven charge-mediated 180°magnetization switching at room temperature by combining firstprinciples calculations and temperature-dependent magnetization dynamics *** electric field(E)-induced interface charge is found to allow a giant modulation of the magnetic anisotropy(K)of the *** K is revealed to vary linearly with respect to E and the epitaxial *** dynamics simulations using the so-obtained K show that both inplane and perpendicular 180°switching can be achieved by E *** temperature effect renders the 180°switching as probability *** analysis indicates a fast(around 4 ns)and low-error-probability 180°switching achievable at room temperature by controlling the magnitude of E and the pulse *** study inspires the rational design of miniaturized nanoscale spintronic devices where thermal fluctuation has a great impact.

To conduct a reliability analysis for mechanical components, it is necessary to consider the combined influence of strength deterioration and dynamic loads. An efficient method based on subset simulation is proposed in this paper to analyze time-variant reliability by considering the strength deterioration of mechanical components in a continuous system. A gamma process is used to describe the deterioration of system strength. A model for timevariant reliability considering strength deterioration is constructed for a continuous system. A representative example and tubular cantilever structure are assessed to demonstrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method. The reliability probability examples were analyzed using a first-order reliability method and benchmark results for the proposed method were derived using direct Monte Carlo simulation (MCS). The results of the proposed method and MCS are consistent, indicating that the proposed method is an effective reliability analysis method for evaluating small failure probabilities in a continuous system subjected to strength deterioration and dynamic loads.

[目的]从海水中获得高产几丁质酶菌株并优化培养条件。[方法]采集湛江市金沙湾海水作为样品,以胶体几丁质为唯一碳源筛选分离产几丁质酶菌株,DNS法测定酶活力并进行分子鉴定;单因素试验和正交优化其产酶最佳条件。[结果]初筛得到6株能降解几丁质的细菌,其中编号为Z-4的菌株几丁质酶活力最强,形态鉴别及16S rDNA序列分析鉴定为嗜麦芽窄食单胞菌(Stenotrophomonas maltophilia)。菌株Z-4优化后的最佳产酶条件为可溶性淀粉添加量1.5%、蛋白胨添加量2.5%、KH2PO4添加量0.04%,在30℃、pH 7.0、接种量2%、160 r/min、培养72 h,酶活力达到0.452 U/mL,相比优化前提高了5倍。[结论]研究结果为海洋副产物有效利用几丁质改善环境提供重要参考。

Dependent competing risks model is a practical model in the analysis of lifetime and failure *** dependence can be captured using a statistical tool to explore the re-lationship among failure *** this paper,an Archimedean copula is chosen to describe the dependence in a constant-stress accelerated life *** study the Archimedean copula based dependent competing risks model using parametric and nonparametric *** parametric likelihood inference is presented by deriving the general expression of likelihood function based on assumed survival Archimedean copula associated with the model parameter *** the nonparametric estimation with progressive censoring and the non-parametric copula estimation,we introduce a nonparametric reliability estimation method given competing risks data.A simulation study and a real data analysis are conducted to show the performance of the estimation methods.

Electric-field control of magnetization reversal is promising for lowpower *** in a magnet/insulator nanoheterostructure which is the fundamental unit of magnetic tunneling junction in spintronics,we demonstrate the electric field induced 180°magne-tization switching through a multiscale study combining firstprinciples calculations and finite-temperature magnetization *** the model nanoheterostructure MgO/Fe/Cu with insu-lator MgO,soft nanomagnet Fe and capping layer Cu,through firstprinciples calculations we find its magnetocrystalline anisotropy linearly varying with the electric *** finite-temperature magnetization dynamics which is informed by the first-principles results,we disclose that a room-temperature 180°magnetization switching with switching probability higher than 90%is achievable by controlling the electric-field pulse and the nanoheterostructure *** 180°switching could be fast realized within 5 *** study is useful for the design of low-power,fast,and miniaturized nanoscale electric-field-controlled spintronics.
