The surface charge accumulation on the basin insulator is a particular problem in high-voltage direct current(HVDC)gas insulated switchgears(GIS)and gas insulated trans-mission lines(GIL),which restricts the development and application of extra/ultra high-voltage(EHV/UHV)technology.The surface charge distribution and anti-flashover performance are closely related to the insulator shape.To obtain the optimal basin insulator,a shape optimisation model based on artificial bee colony algorithm was established,and the minimisation objective functions based on capacitive(initial)electric field distribution and resistive(steady-state)electric field distribution were respectively constructed.The optimisation results of the two objective functions were calculated,and the electric field and charge distribution on the surface of the insulator before and after optimisation were evaluated and compared using the simulation model.The results indicated that the optimisation based on the capacitive electric field can significantly inhibit the surface charge accumulation,and the optimised insulator can significantly reduce the surface normal electric field and make the distribution of the tangential electric field more uniform,and the maximum tangential electric field can be reduced by 10%;the optimisation based on resistive electric field can achieve similar results,but requires more computational resources.Based on the results,the‘anti-charge’basin insulator structure suitable for the DC field was given.

Electroencephalogram(EEG)is one of the most important bioelectrical signals related to brain activity and plays a crucial role in clinical medicine.Driven by continuously expanding applications,the development of EEG materials and technology has attracted considerable attention.However,systematic analysis of the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology is still lacking.This review discusses the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology.First,the developing course of EEG is introduced to reveal its significance,particularly in clinical medicine.Then,the sustainability of the EEG materials and technology is discussed from two main aspects:integrated systems and EEG electrodes.For integrated systems,sustainability has been focused on the developing trend toward mobile EEG systems and big-data monitoring/analyzing of EEG signals.Sustainability is related to miniaturized,wireless,portable,and wearable systems that are integrated with big-data modeling techniques.For EEG electrodes and materials,sustainability has been comprehensively analyzed from three perspectives:performance of different material/structural categories,sustainablematerials for EEGelectrodes,and sustainable manufacturing technologies.In addition,sustainable applications of EEG have been presented.Finally,the sustainable development of EEG materials and technology in recent decades is summarized,revealing future possible research directions as well as urgent challenges.

The potential of using eco-friendly thermoplastic polypropylene(PP)-based insulation for high voltage direct current(HVDC)cable has been widely investigated but much less work on the PP-based semiconducting screen(SC).Considering a long service life(>30 years)under high temperature and high electrical stress is required for typical HVDC cables,and investigations on the effect of antioxidant(AO)concentration and thermal oxidative sta-bility,mechanical,and electrical properties of PP-based SCs have been conducted.It has been demonstrated that an appropriate combination and amounts of AOs are critical for achieving high thermal stability and maintaining the mechanical properties of SC after ageing in a harsh environment(150°C,with Cu,in air,7 days).Although higher amounts of space charges have been observed in SC/PP/SC samples with higher AO concentrations,the impact on space charge behaviours is less after ageing,suggesting that ageing(or operating at high temperature)leads to microstructure evolution in SC and can potentially mitigate space accumulation in PP-based insulating materials.

The eco-friendly insulating gas perfluoroisobutyronitrile(C_(4)F_(7)N)is potentially used in gas-insulated transformers(GIT)to replace sulphur hexafluoride(SF_(6)).However,evaluation of the long-term insulation reliability and gas–solid interface discharge decomposition characteristics of the gas–solid film insulation structure in GIT is indispensable.The authors simulated the gas–solid film insulation structure in GIT and explored the interface partial discharge(PD)characteristics of C4F7N/CO_(2)gas mixture with polyethylene terephthalate(PET).The effect of gas pressure,mixing ratio on gas–solid interface gas decomposition,PET degradation was investigated,and the interaction mechanism was analysed.It is found that the interface PD generated three degradation regions on a PET film.The gas–solid interface reaction in the electrode contact region and the discharge development trace was significantly higher than that of halation region.The content of gas decomposition products decreases with the increase of gas pressure and the PD intensity of SF6-PET is inferior to that of C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)under the same condition.Relevant results provide reference for the development and application of C_(4)F_(7)N/CO_(2)based GIT.

Dietary parboiled rice(PR)has a low risk of disease,but little is known about the contribution of PR to the prevention of hyperlipidemia.The potential role and underlying mechanisms of PR in hyperlipidemia were evaluated in this study.Male C57BL/6J mice were fed with a normal diet,high-fat diet(HFD)containing refined rice(HFDRR)or PR(HFDPR).It was found that PR intervention improved lipid accumulation in mice.Transcriptomic data analysis revealed that 27 genes were up-regulated(mostly involved in lipid breakdown)and 86 genes were down-regulated(mostly involved in inflammatory responses)in the HFDPR group compared to the HFDRR group.And 15 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were validated by quantitative real-time PCR(RT-qPCR),while protein interaction network showed that protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C(PTPRC)has a central role.The gut microbiota of mice was also altered after different dietary treatments,with higher ratio of Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes,increased abundances of Ruminococcaceae,Lachnospiraceae,Christensenellaceae,Porphyromonadaceae,Rikenellaceae and Prevotellaceae,and decreased abundances of Lactobacillaceae,Peptostreptococcaceae,Erysipelotrichaceae and Actinobacteria in the HFDRR group.In addition,it was observed that PPAR signaling pathway may act as a bridge between DEGs and differential gut microbiota.These results suggested that PR can prevent hyperlipidemia by modulating liver genes and gut microbiota.

Growth of gallium nitride(GaN)inverted pyramids on c-plane sapphire substrates is benefit for fabricating novel devices as it forms the semipolar facets.In this work,GaN inverted pyramids are directly grown on c-plane patterned sapphire substrates(PSS)by metal organic vapor phase epitaxy(MOVPE).The influences of growth conditions on the surface morphol-ogy are experimentally studied and explained by Wulff constructions.The competition of growth rate among{0001},{1011},and{1122}facets results in the various surface morphologies of GaN.A higher growth temperature of 985 ℃ and a lowerⅤ/Ⅲratio of 25 can expand the area of{}facets in GaN inverted pyramids.On the other hand,GaN inverted pyramids with almost pure{}facets are obtained by using a lower growth temperature of 930℃,a higherⅤ/Ⅲratio of 100,and PSS with pattern arrangement perpendicular to the substrate primary flat.

Background:Cancer-targeted T-cell receptor T(TCR-T)cells hold promise in treating cancers such as hematological malignancies and breast cancers.However,approaches to obtain cancer-reactive TCR-T cells have been unsuccessful.Methods:Here,we developed a novel strategy to screen for cancer-targeted TCR-T cells using a special humanized mouse model with person-specific immune fingerprints.Rare steady-state circulating hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells were expanded via three-dimensional culture of steady-state peripheral blood mononuclear cells,and then the expanded cells were applied to establish humanized mice.The human immune system was evaluated according to the kinetics of dendritic cells,monocytes,T-cell subsets,and cytokines.To fully stimulate the immune response and to obtain B-cell precursor NAML-6-and triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231-targeted TCR-T cells,we used the inactivated cells above to treat humanized mice twice a day every 7 days.Then,human T cells were processed for TCRβ-chain(TRB)sequencing analysis.After the repertoires had been constructed,features such as the fraction,diversity,and immune signature were investigated.Results:The results demonstrated an increase in diversity and clonality of T cells after treatment.The preferential usage and features of TRBV,TRBJ,and the V–J combination were also changed.The stress also induced highly clonal Science and Technology,Grant/Award Number:2021C03010;Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China,Grant/Award Numbers:LTGY24H080003,LY21H080004 expansion.Tumor burden and survival analysis demonstrated that stress induction could significantly inhibit the growth of subsequently transfused live tumor cells and prolong the survival of the humanized mice.Conclusions:We constructed a personalized humanized mouse model to screen cancer-targeted TCR-T pools.Our platform provides an effective source of cancer-targeted TCR-T cells and allows for the design of patient-specific engineered T cells.It therefore has the potential to greatly benefi

Aging increases the risks of various diseases and the vulnerability to death.Cellular senescence is a hallmark of aging that contributes greatly to aging and aging-related diseases.This study demonstrates that extracellular vesicles from human urine-derived stem cells(USC-EVs)efficiently inhibit cellular senescence in vitro and in vivo.The intravenous injection of USC-EVs improves cognitive function,increases physical fitness and bone quality,and alleviates aging-related structural changes in different organs of senescence-accelerated mice and natural aging mice.The anti-aging effects of USC-EVs are not obviously affected by the USC donors’ages,genders,or health status.Proteomic analysis reveals that USC-EVs are enriched with plasminogen activator urokinase(PLAU)and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 1(TIMP1).These two proteins contribute importantly to the anti-senescent effects of USC-EVs associated with the inhibition of matrix metalloproteinases,cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A(P16INK4a),and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1A(P21cip1).These findings suggest a great potential of autologous USC-EVs as a promising anti-aging agent by transferring PLAU and TIMP1 proteins.

The prevalence of ulcerative colitis (UC) is increasing annually， while current non-targeted drugs for UC have limited effectiveness， easily relapsed， and serious side effects. Herein， curcumin (Cur)-loaded nanoparticle with conlon-targeted property based on Mesona chinensis polysaccharides was developed for the synergistic and targeted improvement of UC. Results show that ZmNPs have good encapsulation of Cur， targeted delivery of Cur to the colon， and prolonged its retention time. In vivo safety assessments have shown that ZmNPs have good safety and biocompatibility. As expected， Cur-ZmNPs effectively alleviated the symptoms of DSS-induced UC by decreasing colonic inflammation by inhibiting the TLR4/MAPK pathway， regulating the levels of oxidative stress and immune homeostasis of UC mice. Oral administration of Cur-ZmNPs can reduce apoptosis of intestinal epithelial cells， alleviate colonic mucosal damage and repair intestinal barrier function. Cur-ZmNPs also had a positive effect on improving gut microbiota disorders and promoting the production of SCFAs. This study provides a novel strategy for synergistic alleviation of UC by MCP-based NPs loaded with food bioactives.
