Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation reactions are largely governed by the efficiency of charge separation and subsequent reactive oxygen species(ROS) generation. Herein, we report a polarization engineering strategy to promote the charge separation and ROS generation efficiency by substituting the benzene unit with furan/thiophene in porous organic polymers(POPs). Benefiting from the extent of local polarization, the thiophene-containing POP(JNU-218) exhibits the best photocatalytic performance in aerobic oxidation reactions, with a yield much higher than those for the furan-containing POP(JNU-217) and the benzenecontaining POP(JNU-216). Experimental studies and theoretical calculations reveal that the increase of local polarization can indeed reduce the exciton binding energy, and therefore facilitate the separation of electron-hole pairs. This work demonstrates a viable strategy to tune charge separation and ROS generation efficiency by modulating the dipole moments of the building blocks in porous polymeric organic semiconductors.

A series of transition metal ion-doped TiO2composites were prepared by polyethyleneimine-assisted solvent-free *** to the similar electronegativity and ionic radius of Ti and Zr ions,the introduction of Zr element to TiO2can effectively improve its surface acidity and introduce more defect sites on the ***-fabricated Zr-doped TiO2nanocomposite exhibits the formation of Zr-Ti bond,strong surface acidity,connected mesoporous channels,and relatively high *** remarkable properties contribute to its adsorption-oxidation-desulfurization capacity toward thiophene-type sulfides,which can remove 500 ×10-6dibenzothiophene from the model fuel within 100 min at low reaction *** polymer-induced self-assembly method can reduce organic solvent usage,pollutant emissions,and energy consumption,which provides an efficient and practical way to prepare porous metal oxide-based catalysts in future.

Random forest model is the mainstream research method used to accurately describe the distribution law and impact mechanism of regional *** took Shijiazhuang as the research area,with comprehensive zoning based on endowments as the modeling unit,conducted stratified sampling on a hectare grid cell,and systematically carried out incremental selection experiments of population density impact factors,optimizing the population density random forest model throughout the process(zonal modeling,stratified sampling,factor selection,weighted output).The results are as follows:(1)Zonal modeling addresses the issue of confusion in population distribution laws caused by a single *** on a grid cell not only ensures the quality of training data by avoiding the modifiable areal unit problem(MAUP)but also attempts to mitigate the adverse effects of the ecological *** sampling ensures the stability of population density label values(target variable)in the training sample.(2)Zonal selection experiments on population density impact factors help identify suitable combinations of factors,leading to a significant improvement in the goodness of fit(R^(2))of the zonal models.(3)Weighted combination output of the population density prediction dataset substantially enhances the model's robustness.(4)The population density dataset exhibits multi-scale superposition *** a large scale,the population density in plains is higher than that in mountainous areas,while on a small scale,urban areas have higher density compared to rural *** optimization scheme for the population density random forest model that we propose offers a unified technical framework for uncovering local population distribution law and the impact mechanisms.

Tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) is the most invasive type of oral malignant tumor, posing a serious threat to human life and health. Its pathogenesis is complex and has a high degree of malignancy. Recurrence and metastasis often lead to poor prognosis. MicroRNAs are a type of single stranded small molecule RNA with only 18 - 25 nucleotides, which can regulate the expression of various genes and participate in the occurrence and development of tumors. Studies have found that microRNA expression profiling can serve as a reliable and stable biological indicator for early diagnosis and prognosis of tumors. This article provides a review of the research status of MicroRNAs in squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue.

The outstanding issue to overcoming atmospheric turbulence on distant imaging is a fundamental interest and technological *** propose a novel scenario and technique to restore the optical image in turbulent environmental by referring to Cyclopean image with binocular *** human visual intelligence,image distortion resulting from the turbulence is shown to be substantially *** simulation results taking into account of the atmospheric turbulence,optical image system,image sensors,display and binocular vision perception are presented to demonstrate the robustness of the image restoration,which is compared with a single channel planar optical imaging and *** involving binocular telescope,image recording and the stereo-image display is conducted and good agreement is obtained between the simulation with perceptive experience.A natural extension of the scenario is to enhance the capability of anti-vibration or anti-shaking for general optical imaging with Cyclopean image.

Periodontal disease is an inflammatory and destructive disease of periodontal support tissue caused by microorganisms in dental plaque. During the development of periodontal disease, host immune regulation plays an important role, and unnecessary excessive immune regulation often exacerbates the course of chronic periodontal disease. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are adult stem cells with self replication ability and multi-directional differentiation potential. Many studies have found that MSCs have strong immunosuppressive effects on both adaptive and innate immunity. In recent years, literature has reported that MSCs are involved in the immune regulatory effect of chronic periodontal disease, inhibiting its inflammatory response and alveolar bone resorption, but the specific regulatory mechanism has not been elucidated. This article reviews the current research status of the immune regulatory effects of MSCs on chronic periodontitis.

Ocean waves and Stokes drift are generated by *** study investigated the characteristics of ocean waves and wave-induced Stokes drift and their effects during Typhoon Mangkhut using European Centre for MediumRange Weather Forecasts(ECMWF)ERA5 datasets and observational *** results revealed that the typhoon generated intense cyclones and huge typhoon waves with a maximum wind speed of 45 m/s,a minimum pressure of955 h Pa,and a maximum significant wave height of 12 *** Stokes drift caused by typhoon waves exceeded 0.6m/s,the Stokes depth scale exceeded 18 m,and the maximum Stokes transport reached 6 m^(2)/*** spatial distribution of 10-m wind speed,typhoon wave height,Stokes drift,Stokes depth,and Stokes transport during the typhoon was highly correlated with the typhoon *** distribution along the typhoon track showed significant zonal asymmetry,with greater intensity on the right side of the typhoon track than on the left *** findings provide important insights into the impact of typhoons on ocean waves and Stokes drift,thus improving our understanding of the interactions between typhoons and the ocean *** study also investigated the contribution of Stokes transport to the total net transport during typhoons using Ekman-Stokes Numbers as a comparative *** results indicated that the ratio of Stokes transport to the total net transport reached up to 50%within the typhoon radius,while it was approximately 30%outside the *** Stokes transport induced by typhoon waves led to divergence in the transport direction,which resulted in upwelling of the lower ocean as a compensation ***,Stokes transport played a crucial role in the vertical mixing of the ocean during *** findings suggested that Stokes transport should be paid more attention to,particularly in high latitude ocean regions,where strong winds can amplify its effects.

The Chinese tree shrew(Tupaia belangeri chinensis)has emerged as a promising model for investigating adrenal steroid synthesis,but it is unclear whether the same cells produce steroid hormones and whether their production is regulated in the same way as in ***,we comprehensively mapped the cell types and pathways of steroid metabolism in the adrenal gland of Chinese tree shrews using single-cell RNA sequencing,spatial transcriptome analysis,mass spectrometry,and *** compared the transcriptomes of various adrenal cell types across tree shrews,humans,macaques,and *** showed that tree shrew adrenal glands expressed many of the same key enzymes for steroid synthesis as humans,including CYP11B2,CYP11B1,CYB5A,and *** analysis confirmed the production of aldosterone,cortisol,and dehydroepiandrosterone but not dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in the tree shrew adrenal ***,genes in adrenal cell types in tree shrews were correlated with genetic risk factors for polycystic ovary syndrome,primary aldosteronism,hypertension,and related disorders in humans based on genome-wide association ***,this study suggests that the adrenal glands of Chinese tree shrews may consist of closely related cell populations with functional similarity to those of the human adrenal *** comprehensive results(publicly available at http://***:16245/scAGMap/)should facilitate the advancement of this animal model for the investigation of adrenal gland disorders.

Charge density wave(CDW)is a phenomenon that occurs in materials,accompanied by changes in their intrinsic electronic *** study of CDW and its modulation in materials holds tremendous significance in materials research,as it provides a unique approach to controlling the electronic properties of ***_(2) is a typical layered material with a CDW phase at low *** V substitution for Ti in TiSe_(2),we tuned the carrier concentration in V_(x)Ti_(1-x)Se_(2) to study how its electronic structures ***-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES)shows that the band-folding effect is sustained with the doping level up to 10%,indicating the persistence of the CDW phase,even though the band structure is strikingly different from that of the parent compound TiSe_(2).Though CDW can induce the band fold effect with a driving force from the perspective of electronic systems,our studies suggest that this behavior could be maintained by lattice distortion of the CDW phase,even if band structures deviate from the electron-driven CDW *** work provides a constraint for understanding the CDW mechanism in TiSe_(2),and highlights the role of lattice distortion in the band-folding effect.
