Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a middle-aged adult population in ***:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sampling was conducted during November 2022 and January *** completed validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final *** were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or mann-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent ***:There was a significant positive correlation between medical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(CVD)and knowledge related to CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(Pmer smokers,individuals with lower household income and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the CVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessment tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(Pmoking status,awareness about CVD poster,self-assessment tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(Pngs underscore the importance of promoting car

This study presents static and dynamic assessments on the steel structures. Pushover analysis （POA） and incremental dynamic analysis （IDA） were run on moment resisting steel frames. The IDA study involves successive scaling and application of each accelerogram followed by assessment of the maximum response. Steel frames are subjected to nonlinear inelastic time history analysis for 14 different scaled ground motions, 7 near field and 7 far field. The results obtained from POA on the 3, 6 and 9 storey triangular lateral loading. Uniform loading shows that the steel frames show consistent results for both uniform and steel frames exhibits higher base shear than the triangular loading. The IDA results show that the far field ground motions has caused all steel frame design within the research to collapse while near field ground motion only caused some steel frames to collapse. The POA can be used to estimate the performance-based-seismic-design （PBSD） limit states of the steel frames with consistency while the IDA seems to be quite inconsistent. It is concluded that the POA can be consistently used to estimate the limit states of steel frames while limit state estimations from IDA requires carefully selected ground motions with considerations of important parameters.

This article describes the preparation and liquid crystalline properties of a new homologous series of 4-（4-bromopropyloxy）-4＇- （4-alkyloxybenzylidene）anilines in which the phenyl ring is armed by a bromopropyloxy *** thermal behavior and mesomorphic properties of the synthesized compounds were studied with particular attention given to the correlation between their phase transition temperatures and anisotropic change influenced by molecular *** the members displayed enantiotropic smectic phase except for the homologue with the longest alkyloxy chain（R = C_（18）H_（37））,exhibiting only monotropic characteristic. The presence of bromine atom from the propyloxy side chain is found to be capable of altering and influencing the mesomorphic properties.

A thin film of blended poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole（PEPC）（25 wt.%）,nickel phthalocyanine（NiPc）（50 wt.%） and ZnO nano-powder（25 wt.%） in benzene（5 wt.%） was spin-coated on a glass substrate with silver electrodes to produce a surface-type Ag/PEPC/NiPc/ZnO/Ag capacitive and resistive *** with two different PEPC/NiPc/ZnO film thicknesses（330 and 400 nm） were fabricated and *** effects of humidity on capacitance and resistance of the Ag/PEPC/NiPc/ZnO/Ag sensors were investigated at two frequencies of the applied voltage：120 Hz and 1 *** was observed that at 120 Hz under humidity of up to 95%RH the capacitance of the sensors increased by 540 times and resistance decreased by 450 times with respect to humidity conditions of 50%RH. It was found that the sensor with a thinner semiconducting film（330 nm） was more sensitive than the sensor with a thicker film（400 nm）.The sensitivity was improved when the sensor was used at a lower frequency as compared with a high *** is assumed that the humidity response of the sensors is associated with absorption of water vapors and doping of water molecules in the semiconductor blend *** had been proven by simulation of the capacitance-humidity relationship.

In this paper, we present a full scheme for the cooperative control of multiple unmanned aerial vehicle （UAV） helicopters. We adopt the leader-follower pattern to maintain a fixed geometrical formation while navigating the UAVs following certain trajectories. more specifically, the leader is commanded to fly on some predefined trajectories, and each follower is controlled to maintain its position in formation using the measurement of its inertial position and the information of the leader position and velocity, obtained through a wireless modem. more specifications are made for multiple UAV formation flight. In order to avoid possible collisions of UAV helicopters in the actual formation flight test, a collision avoidance scheme based on some predefined alert zones and protected zones is employed. Simulations and experimental results are presented to verify our design.

It is undoubted that the latest trend in the unmanned aerial vehicles （UAVs） community is towards vision-based unmanned small-scale helicopter, utilizing the maneuvering capabilities of the helicopter and the rich information of visual sensors, in order to arrive at a versatile platform for a variety of applications such as navigation, surveillance, tracking, etc. In this paper, we present the development of a vision-based ground target detection and tracking system for a small UAV helicopter. more specifically, we propose a real-time vision algorithm, based on moment invariants and two-stage pattern recognition, to achieve automatic ground target detection. In the proposed algorithm, the key geometry features of the target are extracted to detect and identify the target. Simultaneously, a Kalman filter is used to estimate and predict the position of the target, referred to as dynamic features, based on its motion model. These dynamic features are then combined with geometry features to identify the target in the second-stage of pattern recognition, when geometry features of the target change significantly due to noise and disturbance in the environment. Once the target is identified, an automatic control scheme is utilized to control the pan/tilt visual mechanism mounted on the helicopter such that the identified target is to be tracked at the center of the captured images. Experimental results based on images captured by the small-scale unmanned helicopter, SheLion, in actual flight tests demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the overall system.

Kava or kava-kava （Piper methysticum） is a plant used for the production of a ritual drink with tranquilizing properties. The kavalactones are the main compounds of the kava drinks （see Table 1 for names and structures of the main kavalactones）. There are many clinical trials on the use of kava product for anti-anxiety, and a systematic review supports the use of kava for the treatment of generalized anxiety （Sarris et al., 2009）. Adverse effects on the liver have been reported, and kava is regulated in a number of countries （Teschke, 2010）.

· AIm: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of dexamethasone implant in patients with non-infectious posterior uveitis with cystoid macular edema(CmE).·mETHODS: Retrospective analysis of patients reports with CmE secondary to non-infectious uveitis treated with dexamethasone implant. Data included type of posterior uveitis, any systemic immunosuppressive therapy, Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(ETDRS) best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA), central macular thickness(CmT) on optical coherence tomography(OCT) and signs of intraocular inflammation at baseline and then at 2wk postoperatively and monthly thereafter. Follow-up is up to 10 mo. Any per-operative and post-operative complications were recorded.·RESULTS: Six eyes of 4 patients with CmE due to non-infectious posterior uveitis treated with dexamethasone implant. Diagnosis included idiopathic panuveitis, birdshot chorioretinopathy and idiopathic intermediate uveitis. At baseline mean ETDRS BCVA was63 letters and mean CmT 556 μm at 2wk postoperatively mean ETDRS BCVA improved to 70 letters and mean CmT decreased to 329 μm. All eyes showed clinical evidence of decreased inflammation. The duration of effect of the implant was 5 to 6mo and retreatment was required in 2 eyes. Two patients required antiglaucoma therapy for increased intraocular pressures.·CONCLUSION: In patients with non-infectious posterior uveitis dexamethasone implant can be a short-term effective treatment option for controlling intraocular inflammation.
