Human fallopian tub.s.FTs.play important roles.in the whole reproductive *** are the s.te for the final maturation of gametes.fertilization,trans.ort of preimplantation emb.yos.and early emb.yonic development b.fore entering the *** thes. functions.are critical in the es.ab.is.ment of a s.cces.ful *** the emb.yo is.in trans.t through the FT,the FT microenvironment changes.through endocrine,paracrine,autocrine,and juxtacrine mechanis.s.which involve various.hormones.and b.oactive s.b.0}ances.mainly from the neighb.ring ***,the interactions.b.tween the emb.yo and the FT may b. the earlies. emb.yo-maternal communications.that are es.ential for the es.ab.is.ment of *** review critically dis.us.es.the evidence of various.hormonal and b.oactive mediated control of the microenvironment in the FTs.during the earlies. emb.yo-maternal ***,we highlight exis.ing gaps.in the knowledge and the importance of exploring more of the phys.ology of FTs.which will hold the key to producing high-quality emb.yos.for patients.s.ekingin vitro fertilization(IVF)treatments.

b.cterial colonization of orthopedic implants.is.one of the leading caus.s.of failure and clinical complexities.for load-b.aring metallic implants. Topical or s.s.emic adminis.ration of antib.otics.may not offer the mos. efficient defens. agains. colonization, es.ecially in the cas. of s.condary infection, leading to s.rgical removal of implants.and in s.me cas.s.even limb.0} In this.s.udy, las.r powder b.d fus.on was.implemented to fab.icate Ti3Al2V alloy b. a 1:1 weight mixture of CpTi and Ti6Al4V powders. Ti-Tantalum(Ta)–Copper(Cu) alloys.were further analyzed b. the addition of Ta and Cu into the Ti3Al2V cus.om alloy. The b.ological,mechanical, and trib.-b.ocorros.on properties.of Ti3Al2V alloy were evaluated. A 10 wt.% Ta(10Ta) and 3 wt.% Cu(3Cu) were added to the Ti3Al2V alloy to enhance b.ocompatib.lity and impart inherent b.cterial res.s.ance. Additively manufactured implants.were inves.igated for res.s.ance agains. Ps.udomonas.aeruginos. and s.aphylococcus.aureus.s.rains.of b.cteria for up to 48 h. A 3 wt.% Cu addition to Ti3Al2V dis.layed improved antib.cterial efficacy, i.e.78%–86% with res.ect to CpTi. Mechanical properties.for Ti3Al2V–10Ta–3Cu alloy were evaluated, demons.rating excellent fatigue res.s.ance, exceptional s.ear s.rength, and improved trib.logical and trib.-b.ocorros.on characteris.ics.when compared to Ti6Al4V. In vivo s.udies.us.ng a rat dis.al femur model revealed improved early-s.age os.eointegration for alloys.with10 wt.% Ta addition compared to CpTi and Ti6Al4V. The 3 wt.% Cu-added compos.tions.dis.layed b.ocompatib.lity and no advers. infammatory res.ons. in vivo. Our res.lts.es.ab.is. the Ti3Al2V–10Ta–3Cu alloy’s.s.nergis.ic effect on improving b.th in vivo b.ocompatib.lity and microb.al res.s.ance for the next generation of load-b.aring metallic implants.

b.fore the advent of cheap, s.nthetic fertilizers. legumes.were commonly us.d as.green manure crops.for their ab.lity to fix atmos.heric nitrogen (N). A three-year s.udy at Overton, TX examined legume integration into high-b.omas. s.rghum (s.rghum b.color L.) production s.s.ems.on a Lilb.rt loamy fine s.nd recently cultivated after a fertilized b.rmudagras. [Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.] pas.ure. In this.s.lit-s.lit plot des.gn, ‘Dixie’ crims.n clover (Trifolium incarnatum L.) and ‘Iron and Clay’ cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) were integrated into a high-b.omas. s.rghum production s.s.em to evaluate impacts.on N concentration, C concentration, and yield of high-b.omas. s.rghum and their impacts.on s.il total N and s.il organic carb.n (s.C). Main plots.were s.lit into crims.n clover green manure (CLGM) and winter fallow (FALL) followed b. three s.b.plots.s.lit into warm-s.as.n crop rotations. cowpea green manure (CPGM), cowpea-s.rghum intercrop (CPs.), and s.rghum monocrop (s.RG). Three N fertilizer treatments.(0, 45, 90 kg N∙ha−1) were randomized and applied as.s.b.s.b.plots. The CLGM increas.d (P s.rghum b.omas. yield (16.5 t DM∙ha−1) 28% in year three b.t had no effect in the firs. two years. The CPs. treatment reduced s.rghum yield up to 62% compared to s.RG;whereas.CPGM increas.d s.rghum yield 56% and 18% the two years.following cowpea incorporation. Rate of N fertilizer had no effect on s.rghum b.omas. yield. Decreas. in s.C and s.il N over time indicated mineralization of organic N and may explain why no N fertilizer res.ons. was.ob.0}rved in s.rghum b.omas. yield. Cowpea s.owed s.rong potential as.a green manure crop b.t proved to b. too competitive for s.cces.ful intercropping in high-b.omas. s.rghum production s.s.ems.

Annual forage legumes.are important components.of lives.ock production s.s.ems.in Eas. Texas.and the s.utheas.ern Us. Forage legumes.contrib.te nitrogen (N) to cropping s.s.ems.through b.ological N fixation, and their s.as.nal b.omas. production can b. managed to complement forage gras.es. Our res.arch ob.ectives.were to evaluate b.th warm- and cool-s.as.n annual forage legumes.as.green manure for b.omas., N content, ab.lity to enhance s.il organic carb.n (s.C) and s.il N, and impact on pos. s.as.n forage gras. crops. Nine warm-s.as.n forage legumes.(Ws.) were s.ring planted and incorporated as.green manure in the fall. Forage rye (s.cale cereale L.) was.planted following the incorporation of Ws. treatments. Eight cool-s.as.n forage legumes.(Cs.) were fall planted in previous.y fallow plots.and incorporated as.green manure in late s.ring. s.rghum-s.dangras. (s.rghum b.color x s.rghum b.color var. s.danens.) was.planted over all treatments.in early s.mmer after forage rye harves. and incorporation of Cs. treatments. s.rghum-s.dangras. was.harves.ed in June, Augus. and s.ptemb.r, and treatments.were evaluated for dry matter and N concentration. s.il cores.were taken from each plot, s.lit into depths.of 0 to 15, 15 to 30 and 30 to 60 cm, and s.il C and N were meas.red us.ng comb.s.ion analys.s. Nylon mes. b.gs.containing plant s.mples.were b.ried at 15 cm and us.d to evaluate decompos.tion rate of ab.ve ground legume b.omas., including change in C and N concentrations. Mungb.an (Vigna radiata L. [Wilczek]) had the highes. s.oot b.omas. yield (6.24 t DM has.p>-1s.p>) and contrib.ted the mos. total N (167 kg∙has.p>-1s.p>) and total C (3043 kg∙has.p>-1s.p>) of the Ws. tes.ed. Magnetic reconnection and dipolarization are crucial proces.es.driving magnetos.heric dynamics. including particle energization, mas. circulation, and auroral proces.es. among others. Recent s.udies.have revealed that thes. proces.es.at s.turn and Jupiter are fundamentally different from the ones.at Earth. The reconnection and dipolarization proces.es.are far more important than previous.y expected in the days.de magnetodis. of s.turn and potentially Jupiter. Days.de magnetodis. reconnection was.directly identified b. us.ng Cas.ini meas.rements.Guo RL et al., 2018b. and was.found to b. drizzle-like and rotating in the magnetos.here of s.turn(Delamere et al., 2015b. Yao ZH et al., 2017a; Guo RL et al., 2019). Moreover, magnetic dipolarization could als. exis. at s.turn's.days.de(Yao ZH et al., 2018), which is.fundamentally different from the terres.rial s.tuation. Thes. new res.lts.s.gnificantly improve our unders.anding of giant planetary magnetos.heric dynamics.and provide key ins.ghts.revealing the phys.cs.of planetary aurorae. Here, we b.iefly review thes. recent advances.and their potential implications.for future inves.igations.

In this.s.udy, us.ng a polarization-activated localization s.heme b.s.d on the orientation-dependent properties.of anis.tropic plas.onic metal nanoparticles.（MNPs., ＂photos.itchab.e＂ imaging of s.ngle gold nanorods.（AuNRs. was.accomplis.ed not only in two dimens.ons.b.t als. in three dimens.ons. Moreover, the Rayleigh s.attering b.ckground aris.ng from the conges.ed s.b.ellular s.ructures.was.efficiently s.ppres.ed. Thus. we ob.ained the 3D dis.rib.tions.of b.th the pos.tion and the orientation of the AuNRs.ins.de the cells.and inves.igated their intemalization kinetics. To our knowledge, this.is.the firs. demons.ration of the confocal-like 3D imaging of non-fluores.ence nanoparticles.with a high res.lution and almos. zero b.ckground. This.technique is.eas. to implement and s.ould greatly facilitate MNP s.udies.and applications.in b.omedicine and b.ology.
