In terms of photoelectrochemical(PEC)hydrogen evolution,substantial challenge still remains regarding the controllable fabrication of quantum dots(QDs)-sensitized photocathodes with enhanced visible-light absorption,efficient charge carrier separation,and directional migration at the electrode *** this work,the CdTe/CdSe QDs-sensitized photocathodes were delicately constructed on p-type NiO-coated indium tin oxide(ITO)electrodes by spin-coating *** resulting co-sensitized photocathode exhibits a favorable pseudo-Type Ⅱ energetic band alignment that combines the advantages of strong light absorption of constituent QDs as well as the effective and oriented charge separation and *** green LED light illumination,the photogenerated electrons could be effectively transferred to a tetra-nickel-substituted polyoxometalate catalyst for hydrogen production while photogenerated holes will be scavenged at the NiO/ITO *** minimally optimized conditions,the pseudo-Type Ⅱ CdTe/CdSe-sensrtized photocathode yields a photcx:urrent density of over 100 pA/cm^(2) and a Faradaic efficiency of〜100%,which is among one of the most efficient QDs-based photocathode systems coupling with Ni-substituted polyoxometalate catalyst for photoelectrochemical hydrogen generation.

The design and syntheses of metal-organic cages(MOCs)based on polyoxometalates(POMs)building blocks have attracted increasing attention due to their intriguing molecular architectures and physicochemical *** this work,we have successfully synthesized and systematically characterized a tetrahedral polyoxometalate-based organic cage(POC),K_(3)Na_(17)H_(12)[(C_(4)H_(6)O_(6))_(6)[Ni_(4)(OH)_(3)(A-α-SiW_(9)O_(34))]_(4)]·96H_(2)O(Ni_(16)L_(6)(SiW_(9))_(4)),using tritopic Ni_(4)-substituted Keggin cluster(Ni_(4)SiW_(9))as nodes and flexible L-(+)-tartaric acid ligands as *** resulting POC tetrahedron has been firstly investigated as efficient catalyst for visible-light-driven hydrogen production,achieving a turnover number of 15,500 after 96-h *** high catalytic performance of Ni_(16)L_(6)(SiW_(9))_(4)POC catalyst could be attributed to its unique cage structure,thereby offering more efficient catalytic component *** addition,spectroscopic analyses illustrated the photocatalytic mechanism and the structural stability of the TBA-Ni_(16)L_(6)(SiW_(9))_(4)catalyst during the photocatalytic process.

The development of bifunctional catalysts for solar-driven hydrogen and oxygen evolution has been regarded as a challenging but interesting research *** promising multi-electron-transfer catalysts,previously reported polyoxometalate(POM)-based catalysts often contain only a single type of transition metal substitution for driving either hydrogen production or oxygen ***,a viable two-step parental substitution approach has been developed to synthesize two structurally-new mixed-transition-metal-substituted polyoxometalates(mixed TMSPs),K_(6)Na_(4)[Mn_(2)Ni_(2)(H_(2)O)2(PW_(9)O_(34))2]·21H_(2)O({Mn_(2)Ni_(2)})and K10[Mn_(2)Co_(2)(H_(2)O)2(PW_(9)O_(34))2]·35H_(2)O({Mn_(2)Co_(2)}),using Na_(12)[Mn_(2)Na_(2)(PW_(9)O_(34))2]·36H_(2)O({Mn_(2)Na_(2)})as the *** results confirmed the nearly quantitative substitution of Na+with Ni_(2)+and Co_(2+)ions.X-ray absorption fine structure(XAFS)spectroscopy revealed that the Mn atoms are preferentially located in the internal positions of the central belt while Ni and Co atoms preferentially reside in the external,solvent-accessible *** from the second substitution of catalytically active transition metals,the resulting{Mn_(2)Ni_(2)}and{Mn_(2)Co_(2)}can be utilized as Janus catalysts towards H_(2) evolution and O_(2) evolution under visible light irradiation with greatly-enhanced activity compared to that of parental{Mn_(2)Na_(2)}.The introduction of mixed transition metals into POM structures not only enriches the POMs family,but also provides an effective strategy to control electronic structures and catalytic properties of POM-based catalysts at the atomic level.

Establishing the correlation between inter-cluster assembly and auxiliary ligands at the atomic level is crucial for the development of metal cluster *** this work,we report the successful preparation and characterization of three Ag clusters,discrete 0-D Ag51S6Cl3（iPrS）21（TsO）15CH3CN(0-D Ag51,iPrS-=isopropanethiolate,TsO-=toluenesulfonate),1-D {Ag38S4（iPrS）18（PhCOO）12}_n(1-D Ag38,PHCOO-=benzoate),and 2-D {Ag20（SO4）Cl2（iPrS）10（NO3）6}_n(2-D Ag20),using a delicate auxiliary-ligand-induced *** analyses reveal that the types of auxiliary ligands can readily affect the structure and dimensionality of resulting Ag *** addition of different surface auxiliary ligands from TsO-to PhCOO-and then to NO3-leads to the formation of 0-D Ag51to 1-D Ag38and then to 2-D Ag20clusters under otherwise identical reaction conditions,*** resulting Ag clusters exhibited structure-related optical/luminescence properties and distinct bathochromic shifts as revealed by the temperature-dependent luminescence and single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies.

In this paper,we report the synthesis and characterization of a wheel-shaped icosanuclear Cu-containing polyoxometalate(POM),K_(12)Li_(13)[Cu_(2)0Cl(OH)_(24)(H_(2)O)_(12)(P_(8)W_(48)O_(184))]·22H_(2)O(K_(12)Li_(13)-Cu_(2)0P_(8)W_(48)).The resulting cation-exchanged tetrabutylammonium salt of the polyoxoanion Cu_(2)0P_(8)W_(48)(TBA-Cu_(2)0P_(8)W_(48))exhibits high efficiency for visible-light-driven H_(2) production in the presence of an[Ir(ppy)2(dtbbpy)][PF_(6)]photosensitizer and a triethanolamine electron *** optimal conditions,the turnover number for H_(2) production reaches~2892 after 5 h of photocatalysis and thereafter continuously increases to~13400 in a long-term 120 h reaction,representing the best performance among all reported transition-metal-substituted POM *** studies confirm the existence of reductive and oxidative quenching processes,of which the reductive quenching pathway is *** stability tests demonstrate that the TBA-Cu_(2)0P_(8)W_(48) catalyst slowly dissociates Cu ions under turnover conditions;however,both the starting TBA-Cu_(2)0P_(8)W_(48) and its molecular decomposition products are dominant active species for efficient and long-term H_(2) production.

Dinitrogen fixation is one of the key reactions in chemistry, which is closely associated with food, environment, and energy. It has been recently recognized that the hydride materials containing negatively charged hydrogen(H~-) show promises for Nfixation and hydrogenation to ammonia. Herein, we report that rare earth metal hydrides such as lanthanum hydride can also fix Neither by heating to 200 °C or ball milling under ambient Npressure and temperature. The Nfixation by lanthanum hydride may proceed via an intermediate lanthanum hydride-nitride(La-H-N) structure to form the final lanthanum nitride product. The hydride ion functions as an electron donor, which provides electrons for Nactivation possibly mediated by the lanthanum atoms. It is observed that N–H bond is not formed during the Nfixation process, which is distinctly different from the alkali or alkaline earth metal hydrides. The hydrolysis of La-H-N to ammonia is feasible using water as the hydrogen source. These results provide new insights into the nitrogen fixation by hydride materials and more efforts are needed for the development of rare earth metal-based catalysts and/or nitrogen carriers for ammonia synthesis processes.

近30年来,中国褐飞虱的灾变性迁入因受气候变化的影响而出现了明显的时空变异,为了揭示气候异常对褐飞虱区域性灾变的影响,为我国褐飞虱灾变预警及其区域危害的防控提供理论依据,在收集1983—2008年江苏省32个植保站褐飞虱灯诱资料、1981—2008年太平洋海表温度和南方涛动指数数据及1983—2008年江苏省70个气象台站降水和气温观测资料的基础上,选取高邮、通州和宜兴作为江苏省不同水稻生长区的代表性测站(其中高邮代表江淮稻区,通州代表苏北沿海稻区,宜兴代表苏南稻区),通过对近30年来太平洋海温场、南方涛动、迁入区降水和温度异常与江苏省褐飞虱发生程度之间关系的分析,探讨了气候异常对该省褐飞虱灾变性迁入的影响。结果表明:(1)赤道东太平洋海表水温持续偏高的厄尔尼诺事件多引发江苏省褐飞虱偏重以上程度的发生,且其首次迁入峰的出现时间与厄尔尼诺事件开始期之间有1—14个月的滞后期。(2)南方涛动指数(SOI)持续出现负值的厄尔尼诺事件发生的当年或次年,褐飞虱为偏重以上的发生程度,且其首次迁入峰的出现时间滞后于SOI负值开始期1—14个月。(3)登陆并影响江苏的强热带气旋偏多的拉尼娜年也会出现褐飞虱偏重以上的发生。(4)降水对褐飞虱迁入的影响明显,但有限制条件;降水量大、降水日数多的年份褐飞虱迁入量大、发生程度重;以6—10月降水量、降水日数和降水强度为预报因子,建立了褐飞虱发生等级的回归方程,方程拟合和试报效果好。(5)夏秋季6—10月地面气温的异常对江苏省褐飞虱迁入的发生有一定的影响,秋温偏高的年份常导致江苏省褐飞虱偏重以上的发生。
