To achieve the resource utilization of solid waste phosphogypsum(PG)and tackle the problem of utilizing potassium feldspar(PF),a coupled synergistic process between PG and PF is proposed in this *** study investigates the features of P and F in PG,and explores the decomposition of PF using hydrofluoric acid(HF)in the sulfuric acid system for K leaching and leaching of P and F in *** impact factors such as sulfuric acid concentration,reaction temperature,reaction time,material ratio(PG/PF),liquid–solid ratio,PF particle size,and PF calcination temperature on the leaching of P and K is systematically investigated in this *** results show that under optimal conditions,the leaching rate of K and P reach more than 93%and 96%,*** study using shrinking core model(SCM)indicates two significant stages with internal diffusion predominantly controlling the leaching of *** apparent activation energies of these two stages are 11.92 kJ·mol^(-1)and 11.55 kJ·mol^(-1),respectively.

Multi-component solid solutions with non-stoichiometric compositions are characteristics of ultra-high temperature carbides as promising materials for hypersonic ***,for group IV transition-metal carbides,the oxidation behavior of multi-component non-stoichiometric(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)carbide solid solution has not been clarified *** present work fabricated four kinds of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)carbide solid solution powders by free-pressureless spark plasma sintering to investigate the oxidation behavior of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)in *** effects of metallic atom composition on oxidation resistance were *** results indicate that the oxidation kinetics of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)are composition dependent.A high Hf content in(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x)was beneficial to form an amorphous Zr-Hf-Ti-C-0 oxycarbide layer as an oxygen barrier to enhance the initial oxidation ***,an equiatomic ratio of metallic atoms reduced the growth rate of(Zr,Hf,Ti)O_(2)oxide,increasing its phase stability at high temperatures,which improved the oxidation activation energy of(Zr,Hf,Ti)C_(x).

In a paper very recently published on Nature Materials, the group led by Bai and Wang [1] successfully vitrified several face-centered cubic (fcc) and hexagonal close-packed (hcp)monatomic metals by a rapid cooling with a method of picosecond pulsed laser ablation in a liquid medium. This work is a new breakthrough in the vitrification of monatomic metals, giving a firm positive answer to the famous question raised by Turnbull [2] in 1950s:do all materials form glasses? To answer this question, huge effort has been dedicated in the past several decades, especially for metals.

In recent years,with the increasing demand for social production,engineering design problems have gradually become more and more *** novel and well-performing meta-heuristic algorithms have been studied and developed to cope with this *** them,the Spherical Evolutionary Algorithm(SE)is one of the classical representative methods that proposed in recent years with admirable optimization ***,it tends to stagnate prematurely to local optima in solving some specific ***,this paper proposes an SE variant integrating the Cross-search Mutation(CSM)and Gaussian Backbone Strategy(GBS),called *** this study,the CSM can enhance its social learning ability,which strengthens the utilization rate of SE on effective information;the GBS cooperates with the original rules of SE to further improve the convergence effect of *** objectively demonstrate the core advantages of CGSE,this paper designs a series of global optimization experiments based on IEEE CEC2017,and CGSE is used to solve six engineering design problems with *** final experimental results fully showcase that,compared with the existing well-known methods,CGSE has a very significant competitive advantage in global tasks and has certain practical value in real ***,the proposed CGSE is a promising and first-rate algorithm with good potential strength in the field of engineering design.

One-step harvest of high-purity methane(CH_(4))from ternary propane/ethane/methane(C_(3)H_(8)/C_(2)H_(6)/CH_(4))mixtures remains a desirable yet challenging goal for natural gas ***,adsorbents either suffer from high capacity and selectivity,or are caught in a dilemma of scalable ***,we demonstrate a scalable pillar layered metal-organic framework Ni-MOF for highly efficient one-step CH_(4)***-MOF exhibits high C_(2)H_(6)and C_(3)H_(8)uptakes of 83.3 and 86.1 cm^(3)/g at 298 K and 100 kPa and remarkable C_(2)H_(6)/CH_(4)(50/50,volume ratio,21.5)and C_(3)H_(8)/CH_(4)(50/50,volume ratio,212.0)***,high C_(2)H_(6)(42.2 cm^(3)/g at 10 kPa)and C_(3)H_(8)(64.7 cm^(3)/g at 5 kPa)capacities in the low-pressure region at 298 K were realized on Ni-MOF,suggesting the strong affinities of Ni-MOF towards C_(2)H_(6)and C_(3)H_(8).Furthermore,the dynamic breakthrough experiments revealed that purifying CH_(4)from natural gas in one-step can be achieved in Ni-MOF with high-purity(>99.8%)and productivity(346.0 cm^(3)/g).Most significantly,the production of Ni-MOF can be scalably synthesized at room temperature,rendering it promising potential for industrial *** combined advantages of exceptional separation performance,scalability,and cycle stability of Ni-MOF pave the way for one-step CH_(4)purification from natural gas.

Introducing covalently crosslinked network to polymer matrix can merge the advantages in reprocessing and durability of *** this contribution,a series of high-performance vitrimeric elastomers were achieved via *** topological structures of polymers were tuned by varying the feeding ratios of bisacetoacetate,hex–substituted bisacetoacetate,bisamine and tris(2-aminoethyl)*** these structural manipulations,the vitrimeric elastomers presented great elastic recovery properties(strain recovery value up to 80%)benefiting from the introduction of long chain ***,the elastomers exhibited excellent reprocessing property,water vapor/oxygen barrier and adhesive ***,the elastomers could be degraded into monomer under acid conditions which enabled the elastomer synthesis again in closed loop recycling *** ease of the polycondensation in this work to prepare highly elastic and recyclable vitrimeric elastomers demonstrated exciting opportunities for the synthesis of sustainable polymers.
