Microplastics enhance the adsorption capacity of zinc oxide nanoparticles:Interactive mechanisms and influence factors

Microplastics(MPs)are of particular concern due to their ubiquitous occurrence and propensity to interact and concentrate various waterborne contaminants from aqueous *** on the interaction and joint toxicity of MPs on engineered nanoparticles(ENPs)are exhaustive,but limited research on the effect of MPs on the properties of ENPs in multisolute ***,the effect of MPs on adsorption ability of ENPs to antibiotics was investigated for the first *** results demonstrated that MPs enhanced the adsorption affinity of ENPs to antibiotics and MPs before and after aging showed different effects on *** polyamide prevented aggregation of ZnONPs by introducing negative charges,whereas virgin polyamide affected ZnONPs with the help of electrostatic ***-IR and XPS analyses were used to probe the physicochemical interactions between ENPs and *** results showed no chemical interaction and electrostatic interactionwas the dominant force between ***,the adsorption rate of antibiotics positively correlated with pH and humic acid but exhibited a negative correlation with ionic *** study highlights that ENPs are highly capable of accumulating and transporting antibiotics in the presence of MPs,which could result in a widespread distribution of antibiotics and an expansion of their environmental risks and toxic effects on *** also improves our understanding of the mutual interaction of various co-existing contaminants in aqueous environments.

基于不同空间分辨率的土壤物理属性数据(土壤田间持水量、孔隙度和饱和水力传导度),运用WATLAC分布式水文模型模拟了西苕溪流域2005—2010年的水文过程。对比评价了土壤物理属性空间分布对地下水补给、土壤蒸发、径流量及其组分的影响。结果显示,利用不同空间分辨率土壤物理属性数据模拟的流量过程与实测值都匹配的很好,模拟精度相当,更详尽的土壤属性空间分布信息未能明显提高模型模拟的精度;而对于地下水补给量,高分辨率的土壤属性空间分布会使其模拟结果大幅减小,但对土壤蒸发量则影响较小,两种数据模拟的结果及其空间分布都很接近;同时,虽然土壤物理属性空间分布的分辨率对模拟的径流总量影响甚微,但对基流与地表径流的分割却产生了较大影响。

Exploring secondary organic aerosol(SOA)processes is crucial for understanding climate and air pollution in *** study introduces a new method using positive matrix factorization(PMF)to investigate the SOA process by integrating the OA and associated ions previously misidentified as inorganic aerosol in high-resolution aerosol mass spectrometry *** mass spectra and time series of primary OA(POA)and less oxidized oxygenated OA(OOA)identified by this new method resembled those resolved by traditional ***,more oxidized OOA(MO-OOA)identified by traditional PMF can be further subdivided into multiple OA factors,including nitrogen-enriched OA(ON-OA)and sulfur-enriched OA(OS-OA)in summer,and ON-OA,OS-OA,and OOA in *** findings highlight the significant role of photochemical processes in the formation of OS-OA compared to *** compositions of reconstructed MO-OOA varied under different Ox(=O_(3)+NO_(2))and relative humidity conditions,emphasizing the limitations of using a constant mass *** biomass burning OA(BBOA)and coal combustion OA(CCOA),previously misattributed as POA,contributed 9.2%(0.43μg m^(−3))and 7.0%(0.33μg m^(−3))to SOA,*** BBOA was more prone to forming OS-OA,whereas ON-OA showed higher correlations with aged CCOA,indicating distinct molecular compositions of SOA from different aged POA *** to aged BBOA,aged CCOA was more subject to conversion during aqueous phase *** results suggest that the variations in mass spectra and compositions need to be considered when simulating SOA processes.

Most cases of acute coronary syndrome （ACS） involve coronary atherosclerosis and plaque rupture, as well as subsequent thrombosis. The initial thrombotic events leading to red thrombus formation are platelet adherence and aggregation. Platelets play a very important role during the establishment and progression of a thrombosis in a coronary artery. Therefore, in recent years guidelines have been developed in an effort to strengthen antiplatelet therapy in ACS, but unfortunately the methods to evaluate platelet activity and the strength of platelet inhibition are lacking.

湖泊水位是影响其生态功能正常发挥的重要因素,开展湖泊水位变异特征研究是正确认识湖泊水资源系统变化的前提。基于鄱阳湖区5个水文站1960~2014年的日水位监测数据,研究分析了近年来鄱阳湖水位年际变化的异常特征,并借鉴IHA/RVA法,定量揭示了2000~2014年鄱阳湖生态水位变异程度及其空间差异。结果表明:鄱阳湖水位近年来下降明显,湖口、星子和都昌站年平均水位自2009年以来呈现高度一致的变化特征,水位差几乎消失;2000~2014年鄱阳湖生态水位发生中度改变,整体改变度为38.86%;各水文站改变程度由高到低依次为都昌站、星子站、湖口站、康山站和棠荫站;主要水位指标体系中6和11月平均水位、最小3日和30日平均水位、年最高水位出现时间、年高水位频率和年水位减少率等指标变异程度均达到50%以上。近年来鄱阳湖水位异常及其空间差异与人为采砂导致的湖盆地形变化密切相关,这种水位变异已对湖泊湿地生态系统产生了众多不利影响。

Risk factors for biometry prediction error by Barrett Universal II intraocular lens formula in Chinese patients

AIM:To investigate the influence of postoperative intraocular lens(IOL)positions on the accuracy of cataract surgery and examine the predictive factors of postoperative biometry prediction errors using the Barrett Universal II(BUII)IOL formula for ***:The prospective study included patients who had undergone cataract surgery performed by a single surgeon from June 2020 to April *** collected data included the best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),corneal curvature,preoperative and postoperative central anterior chamber depths(ACD),axial length(AXL),IOL power,and refractive *** formula was used to calculate the IOL *** mean absolute error(MAE)was calculated,and all the participants were divided into two groups *** t-tests were applied to compare the variables between *** regression analysis was used to analyze the influence of age,AXL,corneal curvature,and preoperative and postoperative ACD on ***:A total of 261 patients were *** 243(93.1%)and 18(6.9%)had postoperative MAE1 D,*** number of females was higher in patients with MAE>1 D(χ^(2)=3.833,P=0.039).The postoperative BCVA(logMAR)of patients with MAE>1 D was significantly worse(t=-2.448;P=0.025).After adjusting for gender in the logistic model,the risk of postoperative refractive errors was higher in patients with a shallow postoperative anterior chamber[odds ratio=0.346;95% confidence interval(CI):0.164,0.730,P=0.005].CONCLUSION:Risk factors for biometry prediction error after cataract surgery include the patient’s sex and postoperative *** with a shallow postoperative anterior chamber are prone to have refractive errors.

Understanding the dynamic responses of hard rocks is crucial during deep mining and tunneling activities and when constructing nuclear waste repositories. However, the response of deep massive rocks with openings of different shapes and orientations to dynamic loading is not well understood. Therefore, this study investigates the dynamic responses of hard rocks of deep underground excavation activities. Split Hopkins Pressure Bar (SHPB) tests on granite with holes of different shapes (rectangle, circle, vertical ellipse (elliptical short (ES) axis parallel to the impact load direction), and horizontal ellipse (elliptical long (EL) axis parallel to the impact load direction)) were carried out. The influence of hole shape and location on the dynamic responses was analyzed to reveal the rocks' dynamic strengths and cracking characteristics. We used the ResNet18 (convolutional neural network-based) network to recognize crack types using high-speed photographs. Moreover, a prediction model for the stress-strain response of rocks with different openings was established using Deep Neural Network (DNN). The results show that the dynamic strengths of the granite with EL and ES holes are the highest and lowest, respectively. The strength-weakening coefficient decreases first and then increases with an increase of thickness-span ratio (h/L). The weakening of the granite with ES holes is the most obvious. The ResNet18 network can improve the analyzing efficiency of the cracking mechanism, and the trained model's recognition accuracy reaches 99%. Finally, the dynamic stress-strain prediction model can predict the complete stress-strain curve well, with an accuracy above 85%.

The Agrocybe cylindracea polysaccharides (ACP) have been shown to possess various health benefits. However， the anti-inflammatory effects of ACP and the mechanisms underlying these effects remain poorly understood. In this study， we delved into the potential of ACP in mitigating colitis induced by dextrose sodium sulfate (DSS) in C57BL/6J mice and explored the associated mechanisms. ACP demonstrated notable anti-inflammatory effects in the intestines， as evidenced by the restoration of various indicators such as increased body weight and colon length， decreased DAI score， and alleviation of pathological damage in the colon. Additionally， ACP upregulated the expression of ZO-1， Occludin， and Muc2， suggesting a restoration of the mechanical and mucus barriers of the intestinal mucosa. Furthermore， ACP facilitated the polarization of M2 macrophages and preserved intestinal immune balance. The impact of ACP on the biological barrier was further scrutinized. ACP ameliorated disruptions in the gut microbiota， particularly by enhancing the relative abundance of bacteria that produce short-chain fatty acids (Anaerostipes， Romboutsia， and Butyricicoccus). Remarkably， the ameliorative effects of ACP on colitis were compromised upon the removal of the microbial community， but were restored post fecal microbiota transplantation， indicating that the efficacy of ACP in alleviating colitis is dependent on the gut microbiota. Intriguingly， the regulatory influence of ACP on macrophages also hinged on the gut microbiota. In essence， ACP exhibits the potential to modulate the composition of the gut microbiota， fostering the growth of beneficial bacteria， which in turn promotes the polarization of colonic M2 macrophages and facilitates the repair of the intestinal mucosal barrier in DSS-induced colitis. Ultrastrong room-temperature phosphorescence in cucurbit[8]uril-mediated crystalline supramolecules for ratiometric detection of phenethylamine

It is a great challenge to modulate purely organic fluorescence-phosphorescence dual emission in aqueous solution because the excited singlet and triplet states are in competition with each other. Herein, we report a crystalline 1:2 host-guest formed by selfassembly of 4-(4-bromophenyl)-pyridinium derivatives and cucurbit[8]uril, in which a rigid environment rich in weak interactions is directly demonstrated. Due to the inhibition of non-radiative transition and stabilization of triplet exciton in the crystalline environment, the crystalline inclusion complex exhibits ultralong room-temperature phosphorescence lifetime of 3.21 ms with an room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP) quantum yield up to 16.29%. Interestingly, the crystalline 1:2 hostguest complex demonstrates the ability of rapid identification and sensitive fluorescence-phosphorescence ratiometric detection behavior toward phenethylamine, a drug analogue, with a limit of detection as low as 27.5 nM. We believe that this study will undoubtedly broaden the utilizing scopes of RTP and offer a novel avenue for psychoactive substances monitoring.
