Eradication of MRSA osteomyelitis requires elimination of distinct *** overcome this,we developed bisphosphonateconjugated sitafloxacin(BCS,BV600072)and hydroxybisphosphonate-conjugate sitafloxacin(HBCS,BV63072),which achieve“target-and-release”drug delivery proximal to the bone infection and have prophylactic efficacy against MRSA static biofilm in vitro and in *** we evaluated their therapeutic efficacy in a murine 1-stage exchange femoral plate model with bioluminescent MRSA(USA300LAC::lux).Osteomyelitis was confirmed by CFU on the explants and longitudinal bioluminescent imaging(BLI)after debridement and implant exchange surgery on day 7,and mice were randomized into seven groups:1)Baseline(harvested at day7,no treatment);2)HPBP(bisphosphonate control for BCS)+vancomycin;3)HPHBP(hydroxybisphosphonate control for HBCS)+vancomycin;4)vancomycin;5)sitafloxacin;6)BCS+vancomycin;and 7)HBCS+*** confirmed infection persisted in all groups except for mice treated with BCS or HBCS+*** revealed catastrophic femur fractures in all groups except mice treated with BCS or HBCS+vancomycin,which also displayed decreases in peri-implant bone loss,osteoclast numbers,and *** confirm this,we assessed the efficacy of vancomycin,sitafloxacin,and HBCS monotherapy in a transtibial implant *** results showed complete lack of vancomycin efficacy while all mice treated with HBCS had evidence of infection control,and some had evidence of osseous integrated septic implants,suggestive of biofilm *** together these studies demonstrate that HBCS adjuvant with standard of care debridement and vancomycin therapy has the potential to eradicate MRSA osteomyelitis.

多电平变换器是电力电子领域的重要研究方向。针对多电平变换器中性点电压平衡控制,设计了实验教学案例。由于涉及功率开关器件、拓扑结构、电路分析、变换器建模、调制与控制等知识,多电平变换器的学习要求学生具有一定的背景知识。对于广泛应用的中性点钳位型变换器,直流侧电容器的电压平衡控制是保障系统安全稳定运行的关键技术之一。基于嵌套式中点可控型五电平变换器,对其中性点电压平衡问题展开讨论。通过循序渐进的课程设置,让学生从原理到实践了解并掌握相关知识;鼓励学生进一步在拓扑结构、调制算法和控制策略等方面提出自己的优化思想和创新思路。

Terahertz sensing with a 3D meta-absorbing chip based on two-photon polymerization printing

The narrowband meta-absorbers exhibit significantly enhanced electromagnetic confinement capabilities, showcasing broad application prospects in sensing fields. They can be applied for biomarker detection, chemical composition analysis, and monitoring of specific gas in the environment. In this work, we propose a 3D meta-absorber with an out-of-plane plasma mechanism based on a two-photon printing system. Compared to the conventional fabrication of a metal-insulator-metal 2D meta-absorber, the 3D absorber is composed of a metal layer and a resin layer from top to bottom;its manufacturing process is simpler, only including two-photon printing and magnetron sputtering deposition. A noticeable absorbing resonance appears at 0.3142 THz with perfect absorbance with a high Q-factor of 104.67. The theoretical sensitivity to the refractive index of the sensor reaches up to172.5 GHz/RIU, with a figure of merit (FOM) of 19.56. In the experiments, it was validated as a meta-absorber with high sensitivity for doxycycline (DCH). As the DCH concentration increases from 0 to 4 mg/mL, the absorption intensity decreases around 49%, while the resonant frequency shift is around 70 GHz. It reflects the real-time residual content of DCH, and is potentially applied in trace antibiotic detection. The results showcase a perfect narrowband absorption capability with strong electromagnetic confinement in the terahertz spectrum, along with high-Q sensing characteristics of DCH. Compared to 2D metamaterials, the diversity of3D metamaterial significantly expands, and introduces additional effects to provide greater flexibility in manipulating electromagnetic waves. The 3D device offers opportunities for the application of terahertz biochemical sensing.

Biocompatibility Studies on Bone Marrow Stromal Cells with Chitosan-gelatin Blends

To study the effect of chitosan-gelatin blends on the growth and proliferation of in vitro cultured bone marrow stromal cells(BMSCs) and explore a new carrier for the application of tissure engineering, cells from long bones of young rabbitsaged less than two weeks were expanded in vitro for one week and seeded onto the surface of pure chitosan and chitosan-gelatin blends. Cells attached to and proliferated on both pure chitosan and chitosan-gelatin blends were monitored with the aid of an inverted light microscope and a scanning electron microscope. The cell viability was monitored by MTT after 2, 4, 6, 8 days seeding. BMSCs could be attached to and proliferated on both pure chitosan and chitosan-gelatin blends and remain their morphologies seen in vivo. Chitosan-gelatin blends could promote BMSCs to proliferate(P<0.01). It is confirmed that chitosan-gelatin blends maintain the bioactivity feature of chitosan and even enhance the growth and proliferation of in vitro cultured BMSCs because of the adding of gelatin. It is a potential carrier for the delivery of cells tissue engineering.

Efficient charge-carrier injection and transport in organic light-emitting devices(OLEDs)are essential to simultaneously achieving their high efficiency and long-term ***,the charge-transporting layers(CTLs)deposited by various vapor or solution processes are usually in amorphous forms,and their low charge-carrier mobilities,defectinduced high trap densities and inhomogeneous thickness with rough surface morphologies have been obstacles towards high-performance ***,organic single-crystalline(SC)films were employed as the hole-transporting layers(HTLs)instead of the conventional amorphous films to fabricate highly efficient and stable *** highmobility and ultrasmooth morphology of the SC-HTLs facilitate superior interfacial characteristics of both HTL/electrode and HTL/emissive layer interfaces,resulting in a high Haacke’s figure of merit(FoM)of the ultrathin top electrode and low series-resistance joule-heat loss ratio of the ***,the thick and compact SC-HTL can function as a barrier layer against moisture and oxygen *** a result,the SC-OLEDs show much improved efficiency and stability compared to the OLEDs based on amorphous or polycrystalline HTLs,suggesting a new strategy to developing advanced OLEDs with high efficiency and high stability.

基于2005-2019年中国大陆30个省市(除西藏外)的面板数据，运用倾向得分匹配—双重差分法(PSM-DID)以及空间杜宾模型(SDM)方法研究国家生态文明试验区设立是否显著降低了省域碳排放强度以及是否存在空间溢出效应。研究表明：(1)国家生态文明试验区的设立会显著降低省域碳排放强度；(2)通过机制分析，国家生态文明试验区会通过降低能源消耗强度和提高技术创新水平来有效降低省域碳排放强度；(3)样本通过了安慰剂检验、平行趋势检验、更换匹配方法检验，在统计学上具有显著性；(4)相邻省份的城镇化率、人力资本、外商直接投资等皆显示出空间溢出效应。

Global precipitation change during the Holocene:a combination of records and simulations

Precipitation can shape our climate both in the present and the *** though we have made significant advances in studying the mechanisms of millennial-scale climate changes through high-resolution records,we still cannot quantitatively characterize the global spatiotemporal precipitation variations within the ***,we developed a new approach to integrating data from 349 globally distributed records and climate models to reconstruct regional and global precipitation patterns over the last 12000 *** results reveal that precipitation reconstructions can be divided into monsoon-driven and westerly driven *** results suggest that an arid climate was experienced in the late glacial and early Holocene epoch(~12−7.4 cal ka BP),attaining a middle Holocene optimum(~7.4−3.5 cal ka BP),and drier after the middle *** to our reconstructions,the global precipitation reconstruction increased from the early Holocene until 3.8 cal ka BP and then subsequently *** addition,our reconstructions better reproduce the low-frequency events and extreme precipitation at the millennial scale in the hemispheres,but the performance of the reconstructions in the equatorial Pacific and the Southern Hemisphere of Africa and the Americas is *** resolution of the record and the simulation capability of the climate model remain important means to improve our understanding of past climate change.

为适应电力系统对高压、大功率及改善电能质量的需求,多电平变换器的电平等级不断提升,其电路结构日趋复杂。电路中半导体功率开关器件的增加不可避免地增加了系统故障的风险。因此,多电平变换器的故障诊断逐渐成为电力电子可靠性研究领域的关注焦点。大数据和人工智能技术的普及推动了基于数据驱动的多电平变换器智能故障诊断技术的发展。为此,设计了针对多电平变换器智能故障诊断的教学案例,基于嵌套式中点可控型五电平变换器,结合特征工程和深度学习算法,实现对变换器开关器件故障的检测和定位。此综合案例将人工智能和电力电子领域紧密结合,帮助学生深入理解理论知识和研究方法,提高工程实践应用能力,培养科研素养和创新精神。
