Modeling and analysis of air combustion and steam regeneration in methanol to olefins processes

Light olefins is the incredibly important materials in chemical *** to olefins(MTO),which provides a non-oil route for light olefins production,received considerable attention in the past ***,the catalyst deactivation is an inevitable feature in MTO processes,and regeneration,therefore,is one of the key steps in industrial MTO *** the MTO catalyst is regenerated by removing the deposited coke via air combustion,which unavoidably transforms coke into carbon dioxide and reduces the carbon utilization *** study shows that the coke species over MTO catalyst can be regenerated via steam,which can promote the light olefins yield as the deactivated coke species can be essentially transferred to industrially useful synthesis gas,is a promising pathway for further MTO processes *** this work,we modelled and analyzed these two MTO regeneration methods in terms of carbon utilization efficiency and technology *** shown,the steam regeneration could achieve a carbon utilization efficiency of 84.31%,compared to 74.74%for air combustion *** MTO processes using steam regeneration can essentially achieve the near-zero carbon *** addition,light olefins production of the MTO processes using steam regeneration is 12.81%higher than that using air combustion *** this regard,steam regeneration could be considered as a potential yet promising regeneration method for further MTO processes,showing not only great environmental benefits but also competitive economic performance.

Estimation of surface geometry on combustion characteristics of AP/HTPB propellant under rapid depressurization

The 2D sandwich model serves as a potent tool in exploring the influence of surface geometry on the combustion attributes of Ammonium perchlorate/Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene(AP/HTPB)propellant under rapid pressure *** thickness of the sandwich propellant is derived from slicing the 3D random particle packing,an approach that enables a more effective examination of the micro-flame *** analysis of the predicted burning characteristics has been performed with experimental *** findings demonstrate a reasonable agreement,thereby validating the precision and soundness of the *** on the typical rapid depressurization environment of solid rocket motor(initial combustion pressure is 3 MPa and the maximum depressurization rate is 1000 MPa/s).A-type(a flatter surface),B-type(AP recesses from the combustion surface),and C-type(AP protrudes from the combustion surface)propellant combustion processes are numerically *** comparison of the evolution of gas-phase flame between 0.1 and 1 ms,it is discerned that the flame strength and form created by the three sandwich models differ significantly at the beginning stage of depressurization,with the flame structures gradually becoming harmonized over *** are drawn by comparison extinction times:the surface geometry plays a pivotal role in the combustion process,with AP protrusion favoring combustion the most.

Effect of Sintering Temperature on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Nanocrystalline Cemented Carbide

WC-Co nanocrystalline nitrogen-containing cemented carbides were prepared by vacuum sintering and low pressure *** sintering processes of Cr_(2)(C,N)doped nano WC-Co powders were studied by using thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The effect of sintering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of nanocrystalline cemented carbide was studied by scanning electron microscope(SEM),high resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)and mechanical property *** results showed that the nano WC grains began to grow in the solid phase sintering stage.A high-performance nano-nitrogen-containing cemented carbide with uniform microstructure and good interfacial bonding can be obtained by increasing the sintering temperature to 1380℃.It has a transverse rupture strength(TRS)of 5057 MPa and a hardness of 1956 HV30.

As a prevailing cathode material of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),LiCoO_(2)(LCO)still encounters the tricky problems of structural collapse,whose morphological engineering and cation doping are crucial for surmounting the mechanical strains and alleviating phase degradation upon ***,we propose a strategy using a zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)as the self-sacrificing template to directionally prepare a series of LiNi_(0.1)Co_(0.9)O_(2)(LNCO)with tailorable electrochemical *** rational selection of sintering temperature imparts the superiority of the resultant products in lithium storage,during which the sample prepared at 700℃(LNCO-700)outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(156.8 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 200 cycles in half cells,1 C=275 mA g^(-1))and rate capability due to the expedited ion/electron transport and the strengthen mechanical *** feasibility of proper Ni doping is also divulged by half/full cell tests and theoretical study,during which LNCO-700(167 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 100 cycles in full cells)surpasses LCO-700 in battery performance due to the mitigated phase deterioration,stabilized layered structu re,ameliorated electro nic co nductivity,a nd exalted lithium sto rage *** work systematically unveils tailorable electrochemical behaviors of LNCO to better direct their practical application.

Reliability analysis of multimodal scene matching based on correlation peaks

The navigation system plays a pivotal role in guiding aircraft along designated routes, ensuring precise and punctual arrival at destinations. The integration of scene matching with an inertial navigation system enhances the capability of providing a dependable guarantee for successful accomplishment of flight missions. Nonetheless, assuring reliability in scene matching encounters significant challenges in areas characterized by repetitive or weak textures. To tackle these challenges, we propose a novel method to assess the reliability of scene matching based on the distinctive characteristics of correlation peaks. The proposed method leverages the fact that the similarity of the optimal matching result is significantly higher than that of the surrounding area, and three novel indicators (e.g., relative height, slope of a correlation peak, and ratio of a sub peak to the main peak) are determined to conjointly evaluate the reliability of scene matching. The proposed method entails matching a real-time image with a reference image to generate a correlation surface. A correlation peak is then obtained by extracting the portion of the correlation surface exhibiting a significant gradient. Additionally, the matching reliability is determined by considering the relative height, slope, and ratio of the peak collectively. Exhaustive experimental results with two sets of data demonstrate that the proposed method significantly outperforms traditional approaches in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score. These experiments also establish the efficacy of the proposed method in achieving reliable matching in challenging environments characterized by repetitive and weak textures. This enhancement holds the potential to significantly elevate scene-matching-based navigation.
