Clinical Practice Guideline on Acupuncture and Moxibustion: Nonspecific low back pain was revised and released by the Standards Working Committee of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) on October 9, 2023. This is the first clinical practice guideline (CPG) on acupuncture and moxibustion for nonspecific low back pain approved by an international academic organization, which provides the evidence-based recommendations and practical therapeutic protocols for international acupuncture practitioners. This CPG was developed by following Grades of Recommendation, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) methodology, and the Principles of the World Health Organization Handbook for Guideline Development . The guideline development group (GDG) from different countries, with different professions, played a critical role in the formulation of clinical questions, recommendations, and therapeutic protocols. Recommendations are the key content of a CPG and the direct answers to clinical questions. Hence, this article focuses on the recommendations of this CPG. The recommendations were formulated using the modified Delphi method and the GRADE grid rules, based on the updated systematic reviews of clinical evidence. A total of seven recommendations for ten clinical questions were formulated in this CPG, including one conditional recommendation for either the intervention or the comparison based on very low quality of evidence, and six conditional recommendations for the intervention based on very low quality of evidence. 采用模式劈裂技术测量目标参数是光学传感领域内常见的方法。但这种方法可检测的最小目标参数值不仅受限于系统的总损耗,还受制于模式劈裂与目标参数间的函数依赖关系。非厄米系统中的奇异点是指本征值和本征态发生合并的特殊参数位置。通过将系统调节至奇异点状态以进行传感操作,可以降低探测对象的下限值。本文以回音壁模式光学微腔为研究对象,提出了一种将系统调至高阶奇异点附近去测量两个光学微腔之间的微弱耦合强度的方案。通过改变参与的辅助光学微腔的数量,我们能够灵活控制奇异点的阶数。结果表明,当系统包含n个光学微腔时,可以实现n阶奇异点,并且随着n的增加,所能探测到的两个光学微腔间耦合强度的最低值也会随之下降。

Numerical simulations for radon migration and exhalation behavior during measuring radon exhalation rate with closed-loop method

Accurate measurements of the radon exhalation rate help identify and evaluate radon risk regions in the *** these measurement methods,the closed-loop method is frequently ***,traditional experiments are insufficient or cannot analyze the radon migration and exhalation patterns at the gas–solid interface in the accumulation *** CFD-based technique was applied to predict the radon concentration distribution in a limited space,allowing radon accumulation and exhalation inside the chamber intuitively and *** this study,three radon exhalation rates were defined,and two structural ventilation tubes were designed for the *** consistency of the simulated results with the variation in the radon exhalation rate in a previous experiment or analytical solution was *** effects of the vent tube structure and flow rate on the radon uniformity in the chamber;permeability,insertion depth,and flow rate on the radon exhalation rate and the effective diffusion coefficient on back-diffusion were *** on the results,increasing the inser-tion depth from 1 to 5 cm decreased the effective decay constant by 19.55%,whereas the curve-fitted radon exhalation rate decreased(lower than the initial value)as the deviation from the initial value increased by approximately 7%.Increasing the effective diffusion coefficient from 2.77×10^(-7) to 7.77×10^(-6) m^(2) s^(-1) made the deviation expand from 2.14 to 15.96%.The conclusion is that an increased insertion depth helps reduce leakage in the chamber,subject to notable back-diffusion,and that the closed-loop method is reasonably used for porous media with a low effective diffusion coefficient in view of the back-diffusion *** CFD-based simulation is expected to provide guidance for the optimization of the radon exhalation rate measurement method and,thus,the accurate measurement of the radon exhalation rate.

Generation of Four-Photon Cluster State with Coherent Light via Cross-Kerr Nonlinearity

We propose two schemes for preparing four-photon cluster state through cross-Kerr nonlinearity. Two coherent fields interact when they enter a nonlinear Kerr medium. If the interaction time is chosen appropriately in each Kerr medium, four-photon cluster state can be generated based on the results of two homodyne detectors in the first scheme. These schemes only use Kerr medium and homodyne measurements on coherent light fields, which can be effciently made in quantum optical laboratories. In addition, weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity is sufficient. All of the properties make these schemes feasible in experiments.

In-situ measurement via the flow-through method and numerical simulations for radon exhalation during measurements of the radon exhalation rate

Small-scale measurements of the radon exhalation rate using the flow-through and closed-loop methods were conducted on the surface of a uranium tailing pond to better understand the differences between the two *** abnormal radon exhalation behavior was observed,leading to computational fluid dynamics(CFD)-based simulations in which dynamic radon migration in a porous medium and accumulation chamber was *** on the in-situ experimental and numerical simulation results,variations in the radon exhalation rate subject to permeability,flow rate,and insertion depth were quantified and *** in-situ radon exhalation rates measured using the flow-through method were higher than those measured using the closed-loop method,which could be explained by the negative pressure difference between the inside and outside of the chamber during the *** consistency of the variations in the radon exhalation rate between the experiments and simulations suggests the reliability of CFD-based techniques in obtaining the dynamic evolution of transient radon exhalation rates for diffusion and convection at the porous medium-air *** synergistic effects of the three factors(insertion depth,flow rate,and permeability)on the negative pressure difference and measured exhalation rate were quantified,and multivariate regression models were established,with positive correlations in most cases;the exhalation rate decreased with increasing insertion depth at a permeability of 1×10^(−11) m^(2).CFD-based simulations can provide theoretical guidance for improving the flow-through method and thus achieve accurate measurements.

Neuroprotective Effects of Electroacupuncture Preventive Treatment in Senescence-Accelerated Mouse Prone 8 Mice

Objective： To investigate the preventive treatment effects of electroacupuncture（EA） on cognitive changes and brain damage in senescence-accelerated mouse prone 8（SAMP8） mice. Methods： The 5-month-old male SAMP8 and age-matched homologous normal aging mice（SAMR1） were adopted in this study. EA stimulation at Baihui（GV 20） and Yintang（EX-HN 3） was performed every other day for 12 weeks, 4 weeks as a course. Morris water maze test and Nissl-stained with cresyl violet were used for cognitive impairments evaluation and brain morphometric analysis. Amyloid-β（Aβ） expression in hippocampus and parietal cortex was detected by immunohistochemistry, and apoptosis was observed by TUNEL staining. Results： After 3 courses of EA preventive treatment, the escape latencies of 8-month-old SAMP8 mice in EA group were significantly shortened than those of un-pretreated SAMP8 mice. Compared with SAMR1 mice, extensive neuronal changes were visualized in the CA1 area of hippocampus in SAMP8 mice, while these pathological changes and attenuate cell loss in hippocampal CA1 area of SAMP8 mice markedly reduced after EA preventive treatment. Furthermore, Aβ expression in hippocampus and parietal cortex of SAMP8 mice decreased significantly after EA treatment, and neuronal apoptosis decreased as well. Conclusion： EA preventive treatment at GV 20 and EX-HN 3 might improve cognitive deficits and neuropathological changes in SAMP8 mice, which might be, at least in part, due to the effects of reducing brain neuronal damage, decreasing neuronal apoptosis and inhibiting Aβ-containing aggregates.

Observation on Clinical Effects of Electroacupuncture Therapy for Apoplexy with Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of electroacupuncture(EA)for stroke with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome(OSAS).Methods:Thirty cases in conformity with the diagnostic criteria were selected and treated by *** treatment and four weeks after treatment,nocturnal polysomnography,Epworth sleeping scale(ESS),National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)were *** years after treatment,ESS was assessed and the relevant symptoms were ***:Twenty-one cases completed the observation and 9 cases dropped *** the 21 cases after treatment,apnea hyponea index(AHI)decreased obviously(P0.05).In the follow-up examination two years later,16 cases completed the observation and 5 cases dropped *** the 16 cases,ESS score didn’t obviously improve in comparison of those before treatment and four weeks after treatment(both P>0.05).Conclusion:EA therapy for stroke with OSAS can reduce AHI,and enhance the lowest SaO2in sleep and improve the clinical symptoms of the *** the follow-up examinations two years after treatment,the long-term effect was not obvious.

Orientational growth behavior and mechanism of delta(δ)phase precipitation in cold-rolled Inconel 718 alloy during heat treatment

Due to the important role ofδphase's quantity and morphology in the mechanical and fatigue properties of Inconel 718 alloy and its components,it is necessary to renew insights into the effect of cold deformation on theδphase precipitation,especially on the morphology ***,the nucleation and growth behavior ofδphase in cold-rolled Inconel 718 alloy during aging were *** results show that the precipitation rate and volume fraction ofδphase increase with increasing the cold rolling reduction from 10%to 50%.The volume fraction ofδphase reaches equilibrium after 5 h,remaining at 5.98%,6.52%,and 6.79%under different rolling reductions(10%,30%,and 50%),*** nucleation ofδphase mainly occurs on different sites(grain boundaries,new twin boundaries and old twin boundaries)under 10%rolling reduction,whileδphase mainly nucleates on the new grain boundaries of static recrystallization due to 50%rolling *** the growth ofδphase undergoes a process of alternate orientation growth from spherical(nucleation)→short rod(longitudinal orientation growth)→short rod(radial orientation growth)→dynamic *** 10%rolling reduction,δphase tends to grow into the matrix,while under 50%rolling reduction,the orientation grows faster and is easily affected by the grain boundary curvature.

For a 2-station and 3-class reentrant line under first-buffer first-served(FBFS)service discipline in light traffic,we firstly construct the strong approximations for performance measures including the queue length,workload,busy time and idle time *** on the obtained strong approximations,we use a strong approximation method to find all the law of the iterated logarithms(LILs)for the above four performance measures,which are expressed as some functions of system parameters:means and variances of interarrival and service times,and characterize the fluctuations around their fluid approximations.

Manganese-based material is a prospective cathode material for aqueous zinc ion batteries(ZIBs)by virtue of its high theoretical capacity,high operating voltage,and low ***,the manganese dissolution during the electrochemical reaction causes its electrochemical cycling stability to be *** this work,heterointerface engineering-induced oxygen defects are introduced into heterostructure MnO_(2)(δa-MnO_(2))by in situ electrochemical activation to inhibit manganese dissolution for aqueous zinc ion ***,the heterointerface between the disordered amorphous and the crystalline MnO_(2)ofδa-MnO_(2)is decisive for the formation of oxygen *** the experimental results indicate that the manganese dissolution ofδa-MnO_(2)is considerably inhibited during the charge/discharge *** analysis indicates that the oxygen defect regulates the electronic and band structure and the Mn-O bonding state of the electrode material,thereby promoting electron transport kinetics as well as inhibiting Mn ***,the capacity ofδa-MnO_(2)does not degrade after 100 cycles at a current density of 0.5 Ag^(-1)and also 91%capacity retention after 500cycles at 1 Ag^(-1).This study provides a promising insight into the development of high-performance manganese-based cathode materials through a facile and low-cost strategy.
