Suites of granitic and metamorphic rocks form a perfect geological environment in which to investigate the source of metals related to gold *** the East Province of Cameroon,the source of metals-related gold(grade~4.6 g/t)that occurs within metamorphic and granitic rocks remains *** host rocks were subjected to XRF and ICP-MS whole-rock geochemistry and BSE/EDS mineral analyses to investigate the source(s)of metals related to gold in the ***,chalcopyrite-pyrite and magnetite-ilmenite are the main sulfi des and oxides of granites,*** low-grade metamorphic rocks are sulfi de-rich consisting of arsenopyrite,chalcopyrite,pyrite,and sphalerite,and oxides include magnetite,ilmenite,hematite,and ***,Ni,Co,Sb,Sc,and Zn concentrations depleted in high-grade metamorphic rocks and granites compared to low-grade metamorphic *** well,Bi,Cd,Co,Cu,Ni,Sb,V,W,and Zn concentrations decrease with increasing temperatures from low-grade rocks to high-grade rocks and *** suite of depleted elements in high-grade rocks and granites is almost identical to those enriched in gold *** conclude that metals(Bi,Cd,Co,Cu,Ni,Sb,and Zn)related to gold mineralization in the East Province of Cameroon likely originated from metal-rich low-grade metamorphic rocks during prograde metamorphic processes prior to partial melting.

Advanced lipoxidation end products (ALEs) are formed by modifying proteins with lipid oxidation products. ALEs formed in the body have been linked to diabetes and hepatic disease. However， it is not known whether ALEs formed in heat-processed foods can induce metabolic diseases. Our results indicate that dietary ALEs induce lipid accumulation in the liver of mice at an early stage and continuous feeding of ALEs induces inflammation， oxidative stress and hepatic insulin resistance. The core reason for these adverse reactions is the damage to the intestinal barrier caused by ALEs. Due to the damage to the intestinal barrier， there is an increase in lipopolysaccharides (LPS) in the liver that induces hepatic lipid accumulation by modulating hepatic lipid metabolism. Furthermore， ALEs plays a major role in the regulation of metabolic diseases by directly or indirectly inhibiting AMPK/SIRT1 signaling through LPS.

The polymer electrolyte membrane(PEM)electrolyzers are burdened with costly iridium(Ir)-based catalysts and high operation overpotentials for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER).The development of earth-abundant,highly active,and durable electrocatalysts to replace Ir is a critical step in reducing the cost of green hydrogen *** we develop a Ru5Mo4Ox binary oxide catalyst that exhibits high activity and stability in acidic *** electron-withdrawing property of Mo enriches the electrophilic surface oxygen species,which promotes acidic OER to proceed via the adsorbate evolution *** a result,we achieve a 189 mV overpotential at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and a Tafel slope of 48.8 mV·dec^(-1).Our catalyst demonstrates a substantial 18-fold increase in intrinsic activity,as evaluated by turnover frequency,compared to commercially available RuO_(2) and IrO_(2) ***,we report a stable OER operation at 10 mA·cm^(-2) for 100 h with a low degradation rate of 2.05 mV·h^(-1).

Diversity and Structure of the Woody Stand in a Sudano-Sahelian Transition Zone in Senegal

The main objective of the study was to investigate the diversity of the woody stratum of the vegetation in intercommunity rangelands in the department of Koungheul based on an ecological inventory using vegetation surveys. The results indicate a rich flora of 70 species divided into 54 genera and 27 families where Ceasalpiniaceae and Rubiaceae are dominant (5 genera each). They are followed by Combretaceae and Euphorbiacea (4 genera each) and by Capparaceae, Fabaceae and Mimosaceae (3 genera for each family). But at the specific level, it is the Combretaceae which dominates with 10 species and Rubiaceae (7 species). It is more representative at the level of the rural community of Lour Esacale. The different values of vegetation parameters from one site to another indicate variability in community rangeland management practices. The woody stand, dominated by small Combretaceae, shows a relatively stable level of organization with an average equitability of about 45% for the two rural communities studied. Species such as Cordyla pinnata, Sclerocarya birrea, Adansonia digitata and Sterculia setigera contributed strongly to the basal and aerial cover of the overall stand. The regeneration of the stand is very good (about 85% on average) but it represents very few species, especially of the Combretaceae family. This shows a tendency to a progressive loss of species richness in the woody stratum.

Heat processing of food has been well validated as the trigger to generate heat-processing side product of advanced lipoxidation end products (ALEs)， which potentially engenders the threat on systemic health or progression of diseases， especially the accumulated effect after long-term intake. Thus， the study was proposed to evaluate the effect of dietary ALEs on health after long-term ingestion， specifically through simulating the intake of dietary ALE in mice within 9 months to investigate the intervention effect and underlying mechanism. The unexpected observation of renal insufficiency or impairment after long-term intake of dietary ALEs indicated the negative impact on renal health， which has been verified by the pathological analysis. Further studies revealed that a high-ALEs diet disrupted the intestinal barrier， with enhanced impact after disturbing the gut microbiota to potentially lower the abundance of beneficial microbiome through producing nephrotoxic metabolites. Correlation analysis showed that the proliferation of harmful bacteria and the reduction of beneficial bacteria were strongly correlated with intestinal barrier damage and the development of renal insufficiency. Furthermore， the underlying mechanism was unveiled as that ALEs could inhibit AMPK/SIRT1 signaling to fundamentally induce renal inflammation and oxidative stress. Thus， it was revealed that long-term intake of dietary ALE could result in renal impairment， and the results emphasized the control or intervention on dietary ALE to decrease to accumulated impairment on systemic health.

[Objectives]To observe the therapeutic effect of intragastric administration of Jiangtang Shuxin recipe on diabetic heart failure(DHF)in rats and to explore its mechanism.[Methods]Fifty SD rats were randomly divided into five groups,with 10 rats in each *** models were prepared in the low-dose group,high-dose group,Western medicine group,and model group except the control *** in the low-dose and high-dose groups were given 1.0 and 1.5 g/(kg·d)Jiangtang Shuxin recipe suspension by gavage,*** in the Western medicine group were given gliquidone and benazepril by gavage for 2 months,and were fed with high-fat *** in the control group were fed with ordinary *** blood glucose(FBG),serum triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),pathological morphology of myocardial tissue,NF-κB p65 protein and IκBαprotein were compared among groups.[Results]Compared with the control group,the levels of FBG,serum TG,LDL-C,CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,CK-MB and LDH increased,while the level of serum HDL-C *** myocardial tissue was seriously damaged,and the expression of NF-κB p65 protein increased,while the expression of IκBαprotein decreased in the other four gruops(all P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the levels of FBG,serum TG,LDL-C,CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,CK-MB and LDH decreased,while the serum HDL-C level *** myocardial tissue damage was alleviated,and the expression of NF-κB p65 protein decreased,while the expression of IκBαprotein increased in the low-dose group,high-dose group and Western medicine group(all P<0.05).Compared with the Western medicine group,the levels of FBG,serum TG,LDL-C,CRP,IL-6,TNF-α,CK-MB and LDH decreased,and the level of serum HDL-C increased in the high-dose group(all P<0.05).[Conclusions]Jiangtang Shuxin recipe has a thera

In this paper, the generalized oscillator strengths (GOSs) of excitations of atomic sodium from ground state to 2p63s0 (3p, 4p, 5p, 6p) states, immersed in Debye plasma, were calculated by using wavefunctions which were obtained numerically from the restricted Hartree-Fock (RHF) equation. This RHF equation employs the local density approach for exchange interactions including plasma Debye screening. Theoretical RHF and random phase approximation with exchange (RPAE) velocity calculations have shown that the GOSs for excitations to 3 s0(3 p,4 p,5 p,6 p)depend on the plasma Debye screening effects, as shown by the reduction in the GOS amplitude with decreasing Debye length λD. The agreement between the present RPAE V results for the transitions 3 s→3 s0(3 p,4 p,5 p)and the length calculations of Martínez-Flores was satisfactory. Correlation effects were found quite to be significant in the vicinity of the maxima of the GOS of the 3 s→3 s0(4 p,5 p,6 p)excitations by using the RPAE V approach. We note the poor influence of many electron correlations on the GOS of (3 s→3 p)transition with the same principal quantum number. Finally, we comment that the RPAE V calculations are useful in investigating electron correlation effects on the transition GOS of atomic sodium planted in Debye plasma. The present velocity results also reveal that the 3 s→3 s0(5p, 6p)transition GOSs tend to be delocalized due to more significant screening effects at Debye lengths λD=20and 30 a.u. for excited subshells 5p and 6p, respectively. We report here novel results of GOS for 3 s→3 s06ptransition obtained from different Debye lengths.

目的通过对中枢神经系统白血病(CNSL)的发病机制、诊断及治疗的新进展进行综述,提高临床医师对CNSL的认识,从而积极治疗和预防CNSL.方法使用PubMed、中国知网数据库检索系统,以"中枢神经系统白血病、发病机制、诊断、治疗、文献综述"等为中文关键词,"central nervous system leukemia,pathogenesis,diagnosis,treatment,literature review"为英文关键词进行检索.纳入标准:(1)CNSL的发病机制;(2)CNSL新的诊断方法;(3)CNSL新的治疗方案,包括分子靶向治疗和免疫治疗.排除标准:(1)数据陈旧文献;(2)内容相似或重复.最终共纳入49篇文献.结果CNSL患者的检出率随着流式细胞术免疫表型、影像学检查、脑脊液中生物标志物及组学的研究进展较前明显提高,缓解率随着新治疗方案(如分子靶向治疗和免疫治疗)的出现显著改善,然而尚未大规模开展,仍需临床试验证实.结论分子靶向治疗及免疫治疗对CNSL患者是有前景的治疗方案,但需要大量研究来验证和补充现有的临床和临床前数据,证实其安全性和有效性,改善患者预后.
