Structural modularization,lightweight and functional integration are the urgent devel-opment directions for next generation high-performance *** concentration during aeroengine operation would lead to local high temperature,which tremendously negative impacts on aeroengine structural life and ***,the design and optimization of radiator structures are significant for the efficiency and reliability of *** structural geometry design and layout optimization of radiators is promising to improve the heat dissipation efficiency and reduce aerodynamic *** purpose of this study is to investigate the state of the art and perspectives of aeroengine radiator structural design by a comprehensive literature *** main contents involve the review on the structural design and layout optimization technologies of radiator structures,the analyses of the structural features,design theory and methods of existed radiator structures,the induction of the theory and method of different radiators structural opti-mization design,and the discussion on the application perspectives of advanced structures in aeroengine radiators,the report on the current challenges and development directions of the design of radiator structures,including smart materials,lattice structures,variable structures,advanced optimization theories and methods,heat dissipation methods and so *** efforts of this study are promising to support the high-performance and lightweight design of aeroengine structures besides radiators,and thermal management system.

The effect of annealing of Ti foils before anodization on the morphology and electrochemical performance of resultant nanoporous anatase TiO2 （np-TiO2） as anode in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries （LIBs） was investigated. The np-TiO2 anode fabricated from annealed Ti foils exhibited higher specific surface area and reduced pore diameter compared to np-TiO2 electrode fabricated from as-received Ti foils. The highly porous np-TiO2 anode fabricated from annealed Ti foils exhibited 1st discharge capacity of 453.25 mAh/g and reduced to 172.70 mAh/g at 1 C current rate after 300 cycles; whilst the np-TiO2 electrode fabricated from the as-received Ti foils exhibited 1st discharge capacity of 213.30 mAh/g and reduced to 160.0 mAh/g at 1 C current rate after 300cycles. Even after 400cycles, such np-TiO2 electrode exhibited a reversible capacity of 125.0 mAh/g at 2.5 C current rate. Compared to the untreated Ti foils, the enhanced electro- chemical performance of np-TiO2 anode fabricated from annealed Ti foils was ascribed to the annealing- induced removal of residual stress among the Ti atoms. The benefit of annealing process can reduce pore size of as-fabricated np-TiO2.

The radial deformation design of turbine disk seriously influences the control of gas turbine high pressure turbine(HPT) blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC). To improve the design of BTRRC under continuous operation, the nonlinear dynamic reliability optimization of disk radial deformation was implemented based on extremum response surface method(ERSM), including ERSM-based quadratic function(QF-ERSM) and ERSM-based support vector machine of regression(SR-ERSM). The mathematical models of the two methods were established and the framework of reliability-based dynamic design optimization was developed. The numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed optimization methods have the promising potential in reducing additional design samples and improving computational efficiency with acceptable precision, in which the SR-ERSM emerges more obviously. Through the case study, we find that disk radial deformation is reduced by about 6.5×10–5 m; δ=1.31×10–3 m is optimal for turbine disk radial deformation design and the proposed methods are verified again. The presented efforts provide an effective optimization method for the nonlinear transient design of motion structures for further research, and enrich mechanical reliability design theory.

This paper proposes a new polishing method using Magnetic Compound Fluid (MCF) polishing tools produced by semi-solidifying an MCF containing abrasive particles under compression pressure while a magnetic field is applied. MCF is a mixture of a kerosene-based MF (Magnetic Fluid) containing 10nm-size magnetite (Fe3O4), micro-size iron (Fe) powder and a-cellulose fiber;hence, it reacts to an applied magnetic field. Following the microscopic observation of MCF polishing tools prepared at different compositions, their shear strengths and fundamental performances in constant-contact-force polishing were investigated experimentally. The results indicated that the composition of the new polishing tool determines its shear strength and that tools having greater shear strength show a greater ability in metal-surface finishing.

In this paper, linear and quadratic finite element models are devised for the three- dimensional Helmholtz problem by using a hybrid variational functional. In each element, contin- uous and discontinuous Helmholtz fields are defined with their equality enforced over the element boundary in a weak sense. The continuous field is based on the C° nodal interpolation and the discontinuous field can be condensed before assemblage. Hence, the element can readily be in- corporated seamlessly into the standard finite element program framework. Discontinuous fields constructed by the plane-wave, Bessel and singular spherical-wave solutions are attempted. Nu- merical tests demonstrate that some of the element models are consistently and considerably more accurate than their conventional counterparts.

A hyperbolic Lindstedt-Poincare method is presented to determine the homoclinic solutions of a kind of nonlinear oscillators, in which critical value of the homoclinic bifurcation parameter can be determined. The generalized Lienard oscillator is studied in detail, and the present method＇s predictions are compared with those of Runge-Kutta method to illustrate its accuracy.
